Conroy was awesome. Our tour was so full of everything and we stopped at so many fun local spots we would have never known about without him. Top notch!!!!

For our family trip, I decided to book a private tour around the island since my brothers have not been to Oahu and we were celebrating our parents 50th Anniversary. What a treat it was. Conroy, who grew up on the island, was our tour guide so it was great to get the perspective from a local and learn more about the history and fun facts of Oahu. Conroy is also very personable so it felt like a friend was showing us around. He took us to a bunch of spots that I’ve never been to and I have been to the island several times. We were even able to see baby turtles swimming by the beach up in the North Shore! The food places he took us to were awesome as well- Leonard’s food truck for malasadas, Waiāhole poi factory for a taste of their kulolo (sweet poi), Tropical Farms for their macadamia nuts and coffee, Tanaka Kahuku shrimp for lunch, a fresh fruit stand where he treated us to banana lumpia and then finally to the Dole Plantation for Dole whip. Everything we had was delicious. We were so full and happy when he dropped us back to our hotel. Going on this private tour was well worth the money spent. Ask for Conroy! Our driver JP was very knowledgeable and friendly. We really enjoyed being able to do the things we were most interested in. We went to a Japanese temple, rum tasting, Dole Plantation, authentic Hawaiian lunch, coffee groves, Ioloni Palace, Diamond Head etc. very nice tour. Worth the money.

Great experience as our tour guide, Eddie, is very knowledgeable about the island and the culture. If you are into the ocean and surfing, he is your man as he knows all the great spots and contests with beautiful scenery along the way.

We made a last minute request for a private island tour. All other tours were already booked. Our guide, Conroy, picked us up at the hotel right on time in a large comfortable van and customized our tour to what we were interested in. He had grown up on the island and had knowledgeable answers for all of our many questions, ranging from geology to native customs and history to surfing. We ringed the island for the 8 hour tour and were never bored. Wherever we stopped, the locals there knew him, and he knew just where to stop. He even treated to his favorite special desert after lunch. Nothing negative at all, except maybe a device to amplify his commentary for those in the back of the van. One helpful hint: Call Custom Island Tour directly rather than go through the hotel concierge because the hotel keeps a whooping 25-33% of the tour fee for making the call.

J.P.was the best....he was very patience with my sister as she is partially blind...he was always there to help her in and out....he even suggested places we didn't think of... would definitely use this company again...and have referred him to friends.

The history of Hawaii as narrated by the driver. However, unfortunately, the driver's voice did not always carry to the passengers in the rear seats. He needs to speak up or be provided with a microphone.

We wanted to see out of the way places, since we are familiar with the common tourist spots. John was a great driver and guide for this! And he took us to the shrimp spot that had moved locations since last year!

Great experience. Junior was so accommodating. Never felt rushed We got an excellent tour of local attractions and some interesting small stops . I really enjoyed getting to see the local area and businesses. Thank you!!

Our tour guide had an accent which made it a little difficult to understand him at times and I had to really tune in from the back seat but he carried a great deal of knowledge and history which we appreciated. Why the 5 stars? Because at the beginning of the custom tour we gave him a goal sheet and he made sure to meet every goal. We had a beautiful experience on this full day island tour. Thank you

“Uncle Shawn” was the best part of the trip! He told the most informative stories in the most entertaining ways! He was able to field questions, and he kept the itinerary flexible according to our needs. He was GREAT with the kids! Best guide ever!

My friends and I (we were a party of five) enjoyed a wonderful day with Tiho, our driver and guide. Two of my friends use walkers and one is extremely hard of hearing. Two of us had pre arranged tickets to the Pearl Harbour Memorial. Suffice it to say that Tiho was super at accommodating our special requests and special needs. He was patient, knowledgeable, professional; his timing of getting us from point to point was perfect and the day could not have gone better. We were traveling with our 2 teens, and they loved him as much as we did! Five star tour for sure!!!

Our tour guide was Eddie. He crafted the tour to our needs. Gave us lots of information about the island and suggestions for later activities. We snorkeled and he helped us find the best path into the water and made sure everyone was comfortable. His driving was great.
