What you can expect: - A great boat trip up the river. Nice views, no traffic, and great service - Good snacks and an attentive crew (love the fresh fruit) - Very nice English speaking guides - Prompt pick-up at your hotel - An informative Cu Chi guided tour - You may meet Anthony in person (he came to the launch to see us off) The Cu Chi tour was amazing. So much history and it was great to hear the Vietnamese perspective from our guide. The boat trip alone is worth the money! Took this trip to Cu Chi Tunnels by speedboat and is definitely the only way to do it, our guide said it takes over two hours on the bus. We were on boat for about an hour and a quarter each way and was quite exilerating speeding past other river traffic through the green water lilly type vegetation on river surface. You even get chance to sit up front to get some great photos. Nice and cool too with breeze provided by speed. Well worth trying. Recommended!Mr Chi was the most friendly and knowledgeable guide we could have asked for. Taking the motor boat to the tunnels is the best way to go! Skip the traffic and enjoy the scenery along the river. Top marks for this tour. Marc & Margot from Canada

It was a wonderful tour and worth the money without any compliants. The tourguide spoke a really good englisch, he was funny and very open minded. They comfort you with really good food at the beginng and for lunch, you get everything you need. It was everything really relaxed and no hustle. We felt very welcomed and comfortable. The really did take care of the costumers. I highly recommend to go by boat instead of bus. This way also the jorney itself its worth going. The tour of the tunnels was really interesting but you can read plenty of reviews of that elsewhere. The tour of the tunnels was really interesting but you can read plenty of reviews of that elsewhere. What we felt made this particular tour worthwhile was the speedboat ride to the tunnels and the guide. The speedboat ride takes an hour and it seems a much more entertaining way to get to the tunnels rather than being stuck in traffic. Also if you go on the morning tour the speedboat seems to get you to the tunnels ahead of the coach trips, it was nice and quiet when we arrived. Also the timings fitted well starting with a light fruit breakfast and finishing with lunch after the tour. Our guide was very entertaining and very informative having picked up a fair bit of English from watching Only Fools & Horses. Nice to get a Vietnamese perspective of the war and its consequences.
