We had such a great time on the boat. Our guide Tony made everything so special and comfortable for us. We learned a lot, laughed a lot and felt like he really cared about creating a good time for us. The Moon Hotel we stayed in was beautiful and the staff was supportive and nice. Also the rooms on the boat had a lot of space. The food was great too. All in all it was just amazing! I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an adventure, because the activities are definitely not that „relaxing“. It is totally worth it though! 100% would do it again. Special thanks to Tony for the great time!

We booked the 3D/2N trip at cat Ba and Halong bay and had 3 different guys (Sunny,Ben and Toni) all of them were very friendly and we could ask them everything. They were very funny as well 😅. We did a nice hike on day 2 and even if the weather wasn‘t that good it was worth seeing it all. On the first day they showed us the Lan Ha Bay, which is as beautiful as the halong bay, but less crowded. We were almost alone there and did some cayaking and swimming. Food was also good.

Lovely! We truly often were the only boat in the bays.. no tourist crowds at all! After I was a little disappointed about the veg food they improved it right away to a top notch standard- what a service! Tony was a funny, entertaining and thoughtful guide. Thank you so much! Go, go!, it is a great trip!

Excellent trip. We started first day and night with Tom as cruise director. Great attention. Second day we did hike to Navy Peak and bike ride with B. Hike was challenging as we had some rain so very slippery on the boulders up the hill. Third day spent more kayaking and with Tony. To Tony was very funny and gave us a lot of insight into Vietnamese culture. Overall excellent trip. Staff super friendly and attentive. We ended up in secluded places away from the crowds which was great.

We could not recommend this cruise more! The organisation and communication was fantastic, everything ran like clockwork. The rooms and food on the boat were great. The activities were very special and they do an amazing job to make it so that you are not surrounded by other tourists! We had a different guide each day as most people were only doing 2D/1N. But all 3 guides, Ben, Jack and Bee were all absolutely fantastic and were ultimately what made it so special!

Avoid if a solo woman. I was told on arrival I’d have to share a double room with a random man. They eventually agreed to cancel and refund but were really nasty about it. Luckily I had a spare day in my schedule and booked a trip for next day with another operator (all hotels offer same trip) which was fantastic.

As a group of 5, we had their smallest boat to ourselves and we had a blast. Our guide, Sunny, was incredible, with lots of knowledge to share. Because of him, we were lucky enough to see Cat Ba Langurs on our first kayaking trip. It was a beautiful cruise, but Sunny is what made it a truly memorable experience for us. The boat, from Dao Ngoc Family Cruises, was very comfortable. The captain and chef were also extremely friendly, and kept us very well fed throughout the trip.

We took our family of 6 on this tour. We had a great time kayaking, biking, hiking, and swimming. Most of all we enjoyed the views. Our tour guide Bee did an excellent job helping each member of the family enjoy the trip. The food was excellent. 10 out of 10.

This trip was perfect way to end our month long trip in Vietnam. Sunny was the best guide we could have asked for this trip. We did kayaking, swimming, snorkelling with also the perfect amount of chilling. Sunny was really great at organising and timing our trip perfectly as we got to see many of the beautiful places when all the big tours were leaving. This meant we got to see all the beautiful areas/lagoons on our own. Sunny was also a great guide to chat and discuss with on a variety of topics. The boat staff were also great and the food was very good and plentiful too :).

We had very good time doing this 2 nights cruise. Food amaizing, great activities and friendly crew. Special mention for Tom and Tony, our tour guides. They were just amaizing.

A fantastic way to see this beautiful part of the world. Cat Ba Ventures is very organised, and all of the boat guides we had - Quin, Bi, and Ben were excellent and super chatty / friendly. A real highlight was the middle day with the cycling and hiking - well worth doing, and our hiking guide Hien was SO nice and really made the day a special one. The food is tasty but only just varied enough for three days. The rooms / facilities are clean and comfortable, and the hot showers / AC very much appreciated. We were unlucky enough to be visited by a mouse on our last night but I fully believe this was bad luck and that it will be dealt with accordingly! To be fair Percy Pigs are top tier sweets so you can hardly blame the little guy for trying to get into them. I would go with these guys again for sure 😊

The trip was amazing. We particularly liked the hike, our guide Hien was great! So chatty and friendly. He tailored the hike to our level and took us a bit further which was great. Bee, Queen and Ben our boat guides were also super friendly. The only small problem was a mouse in our cabin late at night but the crew were helpful in sorting it out!

The tour was amazing and well organized. As we had 3 days/2 nights tour, we had different tour guides. On the first day Ben was our tour guide. We enjoyed the tour with him most. He explained a lot and we had a lot of fun. Bee was also a good guide. We met him on the second day and third day.

Good decision to Start the trip from Cat Ba, there are war less boats in Lang Ha Bay. And Cat Ba Ventures tries their best to be alone at the spots. Which is not always working as there are many boats in the waters nonetheless. 3 days gave us more time to experience the bay, while we traveled with two different 2 day visitor groups. That situation led to a private tour just the guide and us two for one day. We had 3 guides during our trip: Sun, Sunny and Toni. They were the best! Each of them in their own unique way.

We had the best time! We did the 3 day Tour and enjoyed every Minute of it. The guides Jack and Tony as well as the guide for the Trekking were fantastic. Very kind and full of interesting stories. Really recommend this Tour. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

Our guides Bai, Hien and Tony all were great. We wanted to see and do a lot and relax and spending two nights and 3 days worked.

My favorite part of the trip was the kayaking, amazing moments. The places we visited were fantastic and the cruise crew was so kind and polite with us. They managed to face every necessity.

Great 3 Days on Board with Cat Ba Ventures. Activities and Tour Guides were great. We had Captain Jack, Tony and No-Name as Guides and all did a great Job. Food on Board really good and the best part was that we only were 15 people on board, which really makes a difference. You can sit down and enjoy the beauty of the Bay without big hustle around you. Cat Ba is a bit hard to reach as you need to get on the Island first, but we are glad we invested this time to be more away from the big crowds in Ha Long. Most of the people on the Boat did the 1 Night 2 Days, but we really enjoyed the extra day with Bike and Hike.

The trip was excellent, great activities and hidden spots. Tour guide Hang was lovely, very informative and friendly.

Amazing trip made even better by our wonderful guide, Sunny! He was very fun and friendly. Sunny was also super knowledgable about the wildlife in the bays, as well as the history of Vietnam generally. The boat was also very comfortable and the food was delicious.
