Our guide Lucas was fantastic, Very knowledgeable and great driver. Food was a bit average, but filling. Great sights, loved the flat trees, and morning tea stop at the lake.

Anything “Crab” or “Crab Route” was never mentioned on this tour! You would have thought it was a nature drive with photo ops…and lots of dead time at each stop. We experienced a crab dish at late lunch, which was unremarkable, but other than seeing some sad crab traps trashed on the side of the road we learned nothing about the crab route. Morrisimo was our guide who decided that escorting a group of locals in a car behind us to photograph some type of commercial was his real reason to be there. Instead of spending time explaining what we were experiencing, he spent half his time chatting with them in another area away from his paying guests. When he wasn’t doing that he spent the entire ride back from lunch talking in Spanish to the man next to him at the exclusion for anyone else to ask anything. I would give this tour one star except for the pretty vistas we got to see. I would not recommend this tour.

Brilliant! Driver/Guide Matty knowledgeable, accommodating, safe. Beautiful stops for brunch, stunning waterfall walk even saw a beaver working on the way home. Highly recommended! ,

The trip was fantastic. With only 2 other people, our guide Matheus catered for both Spanish/Portuguese & English. He provided wonderful local knowledge throughout the trip. Lunch at Port Almanz was wonderful - mussels, giant crab (gratin) & dessert. Was very good. Definitely a worthwhile day trip

This was a wonderful day. Lucas our guide was very personable and had good English. He explained the culture as well the landscape and wildlife. We stopped for pics of interesting sights as well for snacks. Yummy Miele Luna croissants and hot chocolate! Then he took us to Almanza for lunch at Akun. What an unexpected oasis! Delicious food prepared hot and fresh with great service and modern decor. Loved it! Lucas then zipped us back to make the cruise boat in time all the while sharing interesting stories and his love for his home town Ushuaia. 10 out of 10. Thanks Lucas!

A nice way to see something outside of Ushuaia. However this tour is WAY overpriced for what you get.

I booked this trip many months ago. I contacted the tour operator to ask if the trip could be made if we arrived the day of the excursion by cruise ship. I was assured that was possible. I remained in contact with the tour operator including the day of the excursion. The ship docked on schedule, and I was prepared to disembark as quickly as possible and emailed the tour operator what was happening. The tour operator finally informed me that they could not wait for me and departed before I could get off the ship. I asked if I would get a refund and was told that the tour owner would make that decision. The tour was scheduled for March 1, 2023. I have sent several messages via email to the person I had been contacting and asked about my refund request. It is now March 13, 2023 and I have not received any response for the tour operator or owner. I will be contacting Viator today to place a complaint and request a full refund. Very disappointing. All contact up to the day of the trip had been very good and very helpful. We hope that those who made the trip had a wonderful experience.

Great trip and fantastic guide Nicolas. He was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and had perfect English. We were fed 'like kings': cocoa and donuts first thing and a three-course meal with crab for lunch. Good times and thank you!

Fabulous from start to finish. Germán was an excellent tour guide - knowledgeable, enthusiastic and keen to ensure you enjoyed the day. It was great to see to the east of Ushuaia. 5 people in a comfortable 4x4. So nice to be on a small tour (10 people in total).

Nice drive through Tierra del Fuego to experience such a unique landscape. We also saw condors. The food at the crab fishing village - Almanza - was fantastic too. The guides were friendly and took great care of us. We had booked this from US but the same tour could be booked much cheaper if you directly book while in Ushuaia.

Luca drove our small group of 5 skillfully through the mountain route3 and then on the dirt road "J" to Lamanza. The stop for a "snack" at the lake was fun and a lovely location. The lookout for our first real expansive view of the Andes was appreciated. When we finally arrived (it was a bit of a trek) at Lamanza, we dined at a wonderful restaurant with a great view, delightful staff and a delicious and generous lunch. We had a whole bowl full of king crab already shelled placed in front of each of us. Lunch was followed by a short hike 15-20 min uphill to a small waterfall. L uca had one more surprise for us and that was a brief stop for a tasting of fruit infused gin. It was a long day, but varied. Luca was wonderful, answered all questions, and offered a hand as needed on the hike. Well done.

Based on other accounts back at the ship, this trip was much better than the other shore excursions. First the crab was incredible. There was a huge plateful of delectable crab. The beer was great. Atmosphere fun. We didn’t need to go into the actual Park to see the mountains and rivers. We also stopped for a snack. The got us back to our ship in time! Some vehicles had microphones but ours didn’t. That would be my only suggestion. Prior to booking, I saw this got a 5 star rating and I understand why!! Guides were personable! Love Ushuaia! Love little fishing village!! (I was worried I wouldn’t see Park but they drove us to parts nearby that are more remote, but not deserted!).

Make sure, especially if you are on a ship, that the DRIVER knows when the ship is departing. We shared that information up front, but it didn’t filter down to the guys actually doing the work. Made for a NASCAR style return to port😳

My guide Lukas was very good. I was a little shocked the night before my tour to be asked whether I can change the trip to the day after even though I booked and paid the trip way ahead. Fortunately, I was able to confirm it after 11 pm, a bit too late to change anything. I am glad they kept the promise finally.

This was not a memorable experience. The guide was not qualified. He was supposed to interpret what the driver was explaining but was confused most of the time. He admitted so himself.

Due to unforeseen circumstances our guide had an emergency so our driver filled in along with a “translator” who was nice enough but not particularly knowledgeable. The trip started late, an advertised waterfall hike was unavailable, and while the meal was good it was an expensive ride for crab. We would have been better off eating in Ushuaia.

Virginia is a great guide. She is interested by the people she meets, interesting by the conversations she fuels and most of all, dedicated to her craft, which is to offer the best experience possible to anyone wanting to know more about the beautiful region of Ushuaia.

David and Lucas were awesome guides and very much fun to spend the day with . Everything was perfect.

The guide and lunch were excellent. The crabbing was unfortunately closed, for reasons beyond the control of the operator.
