Meeting Gerard was awesome. He is a wealth of information and a fine gentleman. Conditions of the day was a driving rain . Just us three , wife and daughter, so it was very private. We had a great time on this walk. Not only did we get the history but discovered that at one time Cork was the butter merchant to the world. Our guide was a former newspaperman in Cork and was a fountain of information all delivered with the perfect brogue, I would recommend this highly.

Gerard was a wonderful host and guide on a chilly Sunday morning. We learned a great deal about the history of the city with added fun facts along the way. Only thing I would recommend would be to keep people on the tour in the warmth of the sun when possible!

Why am I unable to book a tour for a single adult? There are many solo travellers. I will be in Cork in Dec. 2023.
