Yassine was a lovely teacher-chef, patient, happy and clear communicator. His mother also helped and created an authentic atmosphere. We had a lovely day cooking tajines and cous cous!

Yassine is great! The entire experience from start to finish is wonderful. You have over 12 dishes to choose from and you get to go to a local market to purchase the ingredients. This was a highlight from my trip to Fes

Yassine was a great host, he was very fun and informative - he gave us lots of information about the local area, Moroccan culture and cuisine as well as teaching us how to cook! More than just a simple cooking class, this was an authentic, holistic experience with delicious food, warm hospitality and cultural insights. Yassine is not only a talented chef, but also a personable guide who truly cares about you. We were given an extensive menu in advance to choose 2 favorite dishes to learn to prepare. In addition to these 2 main dishes were sides, bread, and desserts prepared in advance by Yassine and his mother. My husband, 16 year old daughter and I were taught many tips and tricks for prepping the vegetables, choosing spices, and creating a visually stunning meal. We were also taught how to make traditional Moroccan mint tea. It was a wonderful evening from start to finish with lovely conversation. We were so impressed by Yassine's genuine warmth and trustworthiness that we booked a Hammam experience with him for the following evening. It was one of the highlights of our trip! Yassine's cousin, Wafae, attended my daughter and I, while he and his uncle went with my husband. This was a true local Hamman, not a glossy spa version, which is what we were looking for. It was beautiful to experience the sense of community and service that is part of this weekly cultural routine. Yassine has a small team of trusted family and friends that work together to offer so many different experiences in Fez, I encourage you to explore their offerings and don't hesitate to book any or all!

Well before our class, we were contacted by Yassine and asked to choose 2 dishes to make on the day. There was a really good selection. We opted to be picked up and dropped off at our Riad for a small extra charge. This was a sensible move as the lesson takes place in Yassine’s apartment and it would have been very difficult to find otherwise. The kitchen was spotless. All the ingredients and equipment that we needed were out ready. Yassine instructed us in the preparation and cooking of our Moroccan dishes. The final results and presentation was checked by his mum which was quite amusing! Afterwards we were rewarded with a very tasty lunch followed by orange slices with cinnamon and freshly made mint tea. Yassine sent us our recipes later by WhatsApp with very detailed instructions so that we can confidently reproduce the authentic tastes of Morocco at home. The best things about our cookery course were the excellent communication before and after, Yassine’s patient instruction and good organisation and the great tasting food that resulted.

Yassine gave us an excellent cooking class in Fez. It started with a great tour on the local market, a place you would never come as tourist. Afterwards he learned us very precisely how to cook a chicken tagine and zalouk. Thanks again for the great day!

We enjoyed our cooking class (as well as the resulting food) with Yassine and would definitely recommend the experience. We chose to make the beef/prune tagine and zaalouk dishes. It was really interesting seeing how these dishes are made authentically in Morocco, as opposed to from recipes in cook books. Yassine was very organised, knowledgeable and great company.

We are a family of 4 (kids both 10yrs) that participated in a cooking class with Yassine and family and we had a ball! The food we cooked was better than we have had in restaurants around Morocco and Yassine provided insight to not only cook great Moroccan food, but also to Moroccan culture. To top it off, Yassine took us to his 'Spice Man' in the Medina on the way home so we could stock up on the same spices that we used in the class plus more. It was a great experience and highly recommended

Moroccan cuisine is truly unique, and learning to prepare it is an adventure in itself! Upon our arrival at a beautifully traditional house in Fes, we were warmly greeted with some tea—a sign of hospitality deeply ingrained in Moroccan culture. Our cooking adventure was shared with two other groups, making for a lively and communal atmosphere as we embarked on preparing around six dishes together. The cooking session was incredibly fun and accessible, designed in such a way that even beginners could easily follow along. It was a joy to watch the elderly matriarch of the house, not only guiding us, the guests, but also her own son and daughter through the recipes. Her expertise and patience in teaching the art of Moroccan cooking added a genuine touch to the experience. After dinner, we shared wonderful stories and experiences with each other. It was a truly blessed night, filled with laughter, delicious food, and new friendships. This experience was not just about the food but the warmth and joy of sharing a meal together, making it all the more special

We had a really great time at Yassine Cooking class! His sister taught us a lot about preparing the meals and all about the ingredients. We also loved the hospitality at Yassines home. The meal was outstandingly delicious. We highly recommend this class.

We had an amazing experience with Yassine. He blew away our expectations. The food-amazing, the cooking-amazing, the hospitality-amazing. We would highly recommend this authentic cooking experience for anyone who wants to come closer to the true Morrocan culture. Yassine introduced us to the world of Spice and flavour and we only hope to be able to recreate some of the tasty meals at home

Truly the best, most authentic experience we had in Morocco. Yassine and his family are so kind, welcoming and lovely!! It was a pleasure to spend the evening with them learning how to make typical Moroccan food. Not only that - but Yassine went above and beyond to take us to the spot inside the Medina where he buys his spices when we asked him so that we could go home with the same spices we learned to use. Truly a memorable and extremely wonderful experience. 10/10 would recommend.

We had the most awesome evening cooking with Yassine. My almost adult kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves- & actually learnt alot!! Their end-results tasted really good 👌!! Best harira we ate in Morocco! Wholesome, home made and delicious! The beef tagine with prunes and almonds were to die for. Tender beef cooked to perfection and the broth was oh just sooooo gd to dip with the freshly baked bread. Highly recommended. A very fun activity to do with the family, and you leave with a full and happy tummy. Yassine was a great host and he shared so much not only about the cuisine, but also places where you can find the best local products too.

Yassine was a great host for the cooking course, we had a lot of fun learning how to cook Moroccan cuisine with him, he was super knowledgeable and gave us a great insight into the culture of Fes. He showed me that I've been using a potato peeler wrong my whole life, that tip alone was worth the price of the course! The end result was really tasty - we'll definitely be cooking Tagine at home! Afterwards, he recommended the spice shop where he gets his spices from, he phoned up the owner who kept the shop open for us, it was great, we even got a taxi there to the Medina with his mamma. Overall fantastic experience, great guy and we'd fully recommend this to anyone!
