This was an excellent and well organized cooking class. The Chef has figured out how to arrange her participants independent with their own cooking ware and stoves and the hands on training is impeccable. You eat what you cook ! We enjoyed it immensely. We also had a great group with us with many different countries represented and it was great camaraderie! Highly recommended!

My adult son and I did this class, and we both enjoyed it. Walking through the market before the class was super fun. We went back to the market later in our trip because we enjoyed it so much. The instructor was friendly and easy to understand, and the food we made was yummy. Both of us cook a lot, so it wasn’t about learning the techniques but more about leaning the culture. We had fun talking to the other members of the group too. They gave us a cookbook, and I am looking forward to cooking from it.

This was one of the best cooking classes I've ever taken. Not only do we get a tour through the local market, but the instructor also teaches us about traditional Korean ingredients and how they are made. Every participant gets their own station, which I appreciated it. It creates a better learning experience for me. I also love that she provides us with a cookbook to take home so that we can make the dishes at home. I would highly recommend this class.

In every country I travel to I try to do a cooking course. This course was brilliant. The class size was small enough that everyone was chatting almost immediately. The menu was also a good variety. As we cooked, questions were asked that Jomin was able to answer very confidently. The meals themselves were straight forward once little tips were given. The level of spice was never overboard. You could chose the level of spice you wanted. I am looking forward to using the very neat cookbook that was given to us at the beginning. It is very clear and easy to read. Basically, I thoroughly enjoyed the class and absolutely would recommend it.

If you like Korean food and you like to cook, take this class! Jomin is an excellent guide (who speaks perfect English), and she walked us through each step of cooking three dishes (the menu rotates, but when I went, we made soft tofu seafood stew, bulgogi, and bibimbap). Everyone has their own station, all ingredients are provided (just about everything is from scratch), and the result is delicious and filling. The market tour is fun too, but the real treat is having an incredible Korean meal—homemade by you!

Cooking studio was well set up- small group of 6 people made it very intimate and personalized. Fantastic food made with clear instructions.

This was definitely one of our favorite experiences in South Korea. My 16 year old daughter and I had so much fun learning about different local foods at the open air market. Then learning how to cook different types of Korean food, and getting to eat what we made. Such a fun and memorable experience! I would definitely recommend it!

We have done these kind of cooking classes in several Asian countries as they are always so enjoyable. You learn about food and culture, meet a lot of interesting people and can enjoy your own creations. This course was run very efficiently we cooked a Kimchi Stew, then some noodles and in the end spicy fried pork. Everything was delicious. There was a tofu/mushroom option for anyone who didn't want to eat meat. The tour around the market before we started cooking was also really interesting. Would def recommend.

We learnt about kimchi and its role in the Korean diet which was interesting. Food preparation was quite easy, it was good to try some new ingredients and flavours. Jomin and her staff were very helpful and the premises was well-organised and super clean. Vegetarians are well catered for with mushrooms and tofu replacing the meat. An excellent tourist activity, highly recommended!

Great experience! Started with a tour of the local market and our guide giving us a some background on Korean culture and cuisine. We talked about ingredients and the varieties of kimchi. The studio was amazing. We made bulgogi, soft tofu seafood stew, and bibimbop… all were delicious. It was really a great experience and such a good way to learn about Korea.

RUN to reserve your spot! Jomin is an awesome cooking instructor, kind person, and was SO informative about how food is used in Korean culture. We loved this experience, from taking the subway, to walking the MASSIVE market learning about ingredients, to cooking and enjoying our dishes. 10/10! You don’t want to miss this!

During the 'Market' part of the class, Jomin was very helpful in explaining various ingredients, tips to make cooking faster and local street food. When we got to the class, Jomin was extremely organized and efficient. She had all of our utensils, pans and ingredients ready to go for each course. She was excellent at explaining each part of the recipe and the reason behind it. We had a great time, ate amazing food, and came away with some incredible memories from our trip to Seoul! Highly recommend!

It was so much fun! I really enjoyed thias cooking class. Started at the market, explaining some of korea‘s yummiest street food, buying tofu that we need for our dishes. In the cooking space all of us had their own little place to cool. All steps where explained in detail, help was just around the corner when something went wrong 😃. Thank you for that memory!!
