I have to say Carlotta was brilliant!! All the right information and explanation of the Vatican she was a true star. She also gave us just the right amount of time to grab a coffee and see the sistine Chapel. You have a true gem there Well done Carlotta thank you very much

Loved this tour. Our guide Tonia (Ciao Tonia!) was amazing. She was friendly, funny and super knowledgeable about the Vatican and more importantly about all of the art inside. Would 100% recommend this tour to skip the line and get a personal tour of the Vatican museums and St. Peter’s.

Silvio was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable about the art and the church politics. Understandably, the Vatican is a crowded tour (not much can be done about that) but it is an important journey to undertake. About 3 hours, bring a small bottle of water as you will be thirsty.

Our guide Silvio was outstanding with information provided and guiding our group through crowded spaces. The Vatican museums are so extensive that having someone to curate the tour to see highlights in various areas was essential. The audio equipment allowed us to hear explanations in a noisy environment. We were so impressed with this experience that we consider it the highlight of our trip.

Elaine was my favorite tour guide in all of our tours in Italy. Very fun and very informative. Highly recommended

Our guide, Elaine, made the tour. She seemed to know every inch of the museum and was engaging throughout. Most other tours seemed to have large groups of 30-60 people. Our group consisted of 11 people which meant we didn’t have to stop and regroup after each room. This tour was extremely well organised which is a must when the attraction is so busy.

Elaine gave a great tour using her unique knowledge. The tour as it suggests allow you to skip the main queues. Elaine pointed out lots of information you would not get elsewhere and helped the tour party navigate around all the important places . St Peters Basilica is at the end of the tour so you are able to go in again if you wish.

We loved our tour guide, Michele. He was knowledgeable and personable, he made it such a wonderful experience! It was so worth going for the early morning tour, by the time we left the crowd had at least doubled. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our tour today with Carlotta. She made the day so special with her humour and immense knowledge. It was obvious she has a passion for her job and she made our group feel very special . A truly wonderful experience . Our tour went over a bit due to the crowds and Carlotta wanting to ensure our experience was the best it could be . Lived up to all the fabulous reviews. We were so relieved we could jump the line that wound around the block at 8am waiting to buy tickets to enter! Elaine was very efficient, knowledgeable and interesting! I think this is the best way to tour the Vatican and Sistine Chapel.

Well worth getting up early. Excellent guide who manuevered us around crowds to provide best view. Our guide had an art degree and studied extensively at the Vatican. Kept things very interesting. Check in at meeting place easy to find and well organized.

Amazing tour!!! Jad was a wonderful guide, very informative, funny, and attentive to the groups needs. Perfect amount of time spent in each location with wonderful explanations. The lines for people getting in without tours were huge, and without our tour with Jad, I don’t think we would have bothered to see the Vatican as it is so large and overwhelming!

Laura was an excellent guide. Lots of knowledge and did well keeping the group together. Definitely needed a good guide with so much to see.

Excellent tour, led by an enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable guide. She certainly knew her stuff and made our visit enjoyable from start to finish. Early start and rather chilly but you can get excellent coffee next door to the office.

A truly amazing tour and tour guide! Our guide, Elaine, was very enthusiastic and passionate about everything on the tour. Her knowledge and sense of humor made it so enjoyable for us. There is a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes and do your best to take in as much as you can during this tour. Having a tour guide is a must on this tour, money well spent.

Elaine was fantastic. I heard about Elaine, and What a Life Tours, from a colleague of mine. He had previously taken her tour of the Vatican and could not recommend her more; so, I am grateful that What a Life Tours was able to accommodate my request to put my dad and me on her tour.
