Full day with transport, admission tickets, lunch, afternoon raki stop all included so good value. Our guide was a very nice chap who grew up in Communist times so it was interesting to get his persepctive on what it was like to live in those times. He was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend the day with. Tirana is a great city with a fascinating history. Having a personal tour guide is the best way to learn about it. Worth the investment.

We learned a lot about the communist history of Albania and the food was excellent as well. This was a fantastic deal for the price.

I advise everyone to do this tour! You get to know Albanian history in a way you won't forget! I actually witnessed the history on the visit locals. Additionally, you will have the experience of tasting food and drinks in special places (not the touristic ones) and to go around the main city center areas. Geri was excellent and manage to give me a real idea of Albanian history, culture, and manners in a well-structured sequence and never boring!

If you want to know more about the history of Albania, this tour is recommended. Our guide Andi, was very knowledgeable with his background from studies in political science. The whole tour lasted app 7 hours, and you will get a good insight into albanian history and how it was to live in the communist «paradise». And with street food and raki included. We were first driven to Bunk’Art 1. Later back to the city center and the rest the tour was done by foot. Great tour, but you’ll have to walk quite a lot.

Die Tour fing um 9:30 an und dauerte bis knapp 17:00 Uhr und war alles in allem eine der interessantesten und ausführlichsten Touren, die ich seit langen erlebt habe.Wir hatten das Glück nur zu dritt zu sein und unser Guide Julian war mit Leib und Seele bei der Sache und hat uns auf sehr kompetente und mitreißende Art diesen, eher düsteren, Teil der albanischen Geschichte näher gebracht. Ein Mittagessen in einem alb. Lokal sowie ein Kaffeehausbesuch in einem originellen Café im sozialistischen Stil sind in der Führung inkludiert. Julian hat uns auch die Mentalität und Lebensweise der Menschen in Albanien auf anschauliche Weise näher gebracht. Wir haben den Tag mit unserem Guide Julian wirklich sehr genossen und würden sofort wieder einen Ausflug dort buchen.
