Great experience! Catarina was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. Catrina provided great historical context for the coliseum, forum, and emperors’ palace. Be sure to ask for her when booking your visit.

I highly recommend LivTours, I did my research before booking and they did not disappoint, LivTours are professional, organised and reliable. Our guide Davide B was so enthusiastic and informative. I never had the feeling he was "just doing his job", his passion and knowledge was infectious and he actually ran about half an hour over our allotted time.

Excellent tour with Elisa. Very informative and well paced - balance of time spent at Colosseum vs Forum and Palantine Hill about right. Well worth paying a bit extra for max 6 people on the tour in my opinion.

Our tour guide was Giada and she was very knowledgeable about the coliseum history and events and a great picture taker as well ! The tour of Ancient Rome was also very interesting- we were so happy to have a small group, it was easy to ask questions and stay together and having someone explain things was worth the cost. Giada also had many helpful full size pictures and illustrations of what the old buildings looked like in their original state which was also very helpful. We would recommend this tour and tour guide to anyone interested in learning about and enjoying their time in this area of Rome.

Chiara’s was a wonderful guide. She understood our questions and gave thorough answers with pictures of how the colosseum and forum would have looked. She had a very interesting and thorough plan of the areas and yet was flexible to make adjustments as we requested. Loved the tie in to modern language with Roman/italian language and the printed pictures! Bathroom breaks! Great poise and understanding working “around” the crowds and other pushy guides. She is high integrity person that shines through to be professional and kind. It was a wonderful tour! 5 stars!

Laura is a wealth of the latest information as she strives to stay current with the latest theories and discoveries . Early Roman history came alive with the details she shared. She welcomed questions and encouraged our curiosity. She strived to make sure we had the best experience with the least amount of "crowds." We came away with a deep understanding and appreciation of the time period.

Good and intimate tour! Nice guide, very enthusiastic and wanted to give recommendations for other places to visit. It's nice to skip the lines, but else most of the tour could have been done on your own.

Rosa our tour guide was incredible. I learned so much regarding the Colosseum. Very memorable. She told the group so many details. It was the third time I had visited the Colosseum and by far it was the best tour.

Ribal was very personable and knowledgeable. His archeological background brought his tour to life! His tour was structured, but very flexible for questions! He stayed to answer several other questions we had after the tour! I would highly recommend him!

Loved this tour and just want to say Luciana was a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgeable and passionate.

Raffy is extremely knowledgeable. She is well-versed in the history of Rome. She answered our questions and was very nice throughout the tour of the Roman Forum and Colosseum. Two issues were a little bothersome, leading to 4 instead of 5 stars. First, the tour ended 20 minutes sooner than expected. We could have spent a little more time in the forum or the colosseum. Second, Raffy was very pushy with the reviews, asking us repeatedly to give her 5 stars. If it wasn’t for these two somewhat minor issues she would’ve received 5 stars. Overall I’d still take a tour with her again.

Tour was very informative and our tour guide (Dennis) was very fun and friendly. He was able to answer all questions and had an immense knowledge of everything we walked by. He set a perfect pace for the tour and was very considerate in terms for where it was best to take pictures and walkability.

Marco was an amazing guide. He gave us so much information about Rome and the many layers that are here. He was even able to teach us a little about plants that we did not know.
