My friends and absolutely loved our day tour with driver Alex & tour guide Nelson. We stopped at lots of stunning view points and we even did a 40 min trek along the canyon which was a real highlight. We were provided with breakfast & lunch, both were really good. Nelson was really enthusiastic from the beginning and provided us with so much interesting information. The driver Alex was also great and the journey was very smooth. Would definitely recommend this tour!

I did the day tour of the Colca Canyon and thought it was a great way to see the Colca Canyon if you are limited on time. You go to a lot of viewpoints (one with condors), do a mini hike, visit a couple of villages and have a breakfast and lunch stop (40soles extra for lunch). There was live Peruvian music at the lunch stop and a dance show at breakfast. We also stopped at some thermal springs (15soles extra). I thought the driver Alex and the guide Nelson were both great. I get quite car sick and even though it was windy I wasn’t sick at all on this journey- not sure how Alex achieved that. Nelson spoke amazing English and was very funny and also actually told us quite a lot of information. Lots of tours they just say here we are and tell you nothing more so I liked Nelson giving us extra info.

Great guide, very thorough . Full day of things to do and see. The condor viewings were excellent. Also did zip wire and hot springs at minimal extra cost.

We really appreciated the tour, the guide was really nice, he explained in Spanish and in English and gave many details on the colca valley and colca culture. He led us to try a delicious Colca Sour and find some artisanal gifts that were difficult to find there. I recommend 100%!

Booked several tours with Zenaida at Baby Lama tour office in Arequipa. Zenaida spoke English which really helped us understand what was involved with The tour options. She was very helpful and everything went smoothly!

It was amazing! Our guide was very heplful and knew a lot about the places we visited. The food was also great and we got a lot for what we payed for.

My guide was very knowledgeable and very kind. He was sure to communicate where we were going and what we were doing every step of the way, and made sure everyone was on time. Would recommend!

It was a beautiful morning and Day. Our guide, Angel, was great, kind, funny and informativ. Getting to Colca Canon was fantastic and magical.

We were transfered this tour on the group as we had terribble seats in the first tour. And I think we were lucky. Johny -the guide- was very helpful and very kind. Took us a small trekking and was nice experience. I highly recommend the tour guide, ask for his tours. Explained a lot of details in English and was good at it. Reason that I gave 4 stars to the tour, is because of the minibus. AC does not working or they do not open during the trip. We came wth wet windows inside. Also guarantee your seats. If you are collected the last, you get the worst seats.

I really enjoyed the tour. It was a full day that started super early but the views were gorgeous and the stops interesting. Max our guide spoke great English and explained everything thoroughly in Spanish and English. I appreciated all his input. I even got my hat back that I left somewhere on the trip. Amazing experiencent to visit different places in mountain range: view condors, hike, taste local foods and drinks.

Tough to review. Amazing views and mini hike and good guide. Saw some wild vicuñas also. Stopped at some decent hot springs for a quick dip. But it’s a business decision- wake up call is 230 am. Don’t get back til 630. 16 hrs for about 3.5 hours of action plus lunch. Def impacted my energy for others things day before and night of. That said Colca is one of the best things to do in the Arequipa region. One of our fellow guests used this tour to see Colca then stayed overnight in the region and then onto Puno the next day. I thought that was a great use of time.

Nelson was an awesome tour guide. He had lots of energy and made it real fun everywhere we went. He is awesome at translating from Spanish to English during his speeches. My wife and I had a blast. Great tour for views and experiencing new things. The hike was awesome too. Highly recommend this tour.

Johnny is a very sweet guide. He helped me a lot when I had altitude symptoms. He gave me cocoa leaves for free and helped me to breathe. He was also a great photographer and his English was very good.

It is not worth the ride. You will spend more time in the van than outside. The stop at the Andean terraces is interesting, but you may find them elsewhere. Maca is nice because of the old church, however, the door is often closed. Then you get to the Colca Canyon which they say is very deep, but you won't see that from the mirador. If you get lucky one or two condors will fly at a distance that you can see them, but get lucky to photograph them if you have a great tele lens, otherwise you'll get something blurry. The thermal waters are very small and crowded pools, the site is nice but you don't really enjoy the jacuzzi with so many people around. Then you stop for a buffet meal which is not representative of the great Peruvian food. And that is it... The rest are short stops for almost nothing interesting, unless the Misti volcano in a clear day.

It was a very long day, lots of driving. If I did it again I would spread it out over 2 days. Otherwise everything as described and Walter was a great guide.

The trip with Nelson (the tour guide) was amazing. Nelson was paitent, friendly, educating and very nice. He even let us try "Colca Sour". The driver José Armando was kind and patient as well. And there was a lunch full of delicous options.

I was at the end of my Peru trip and really could not have chosen a better guide in Abel and his driver. While the tour began very early, he created a nice vibe and an action packed tour that fed us all the nature, culture, and food we needed.
