We booked a coffee experience with Leo and had a wonderful time! Leo is incredibly knowledgeable about coffee in the region and in the world from his own experience as a coffee farmer and producer. My boyfriend and I did a coffee tasting with 3 different types of beans in 3 different brewing methods. They also served a delicious caramel torta during the experience. Leo speaks great English and he was not difficult to understand, however he does have a fairly thick accent so this experience would be best for people who are skilled in understanding English through a Latino accent. Daniel, the barista at the cafe was also super friendly and helpful, answering tons of questions we had about different types of brewing methods when we had popped in for a cup of coffee the day prior to booking our tasting experience. For coffee lovers, this experience is worth every penny! Definitely not to be missed if you are in Bogotá !

Perfectly named - Coffee Tasting Experience. I will never look a cup of coffee the same. Leandro passion and knowledge of the whole coffee process from the bean farm to roasting to difference methods of making a cup of coffee was truly eye opening experiences.

A fabulous 2 hour Caffine fueled pleasure. Leandro was brilliant. At least 5 different coffee tastes and an explanation of fragrance, aroma and taste. I never knew there was so much to it.

Daniel was an amazing host, making sure all the questions about coffee were answered. The overall experience was better than expected, the very high quality coffee was the star. In my case, it was a very small group of people which made the experience more personal and enjoyable.

We turned out to have a private class with Daniel - our visit was longer than planned, but Daniel was very open to all of our questions and didn't seem to mind. We tried out 4 different coffee preparation methods and got a delicious piece of cake that complimented the coffee really well. We learned a lot and it was also great that Divine is located in Candelaria! :) Definitely recommend if like us you don't have time to visit the coffee farms but still are looking for a way to learn more about coffee in Colombia.

Awesome experience! From the start to the end, the tasting experience was great. We're now able to differentiate different smells, aromas, tastes in our coffee(s). Very intimate, great products and atmosphere. Would recommend 200%!

Leandro led a wonderful experience and I really enjoyed learning all about Colombian coffee from him. I have a deeper appreciation for the process behind coffee - from the altitude the beans are grown, the smell of the grounds with and without water, of course the taste, and the brewing process. Leandro is passionate and knowledgeable and treats you like a king.

All the other reviews are spot on. Leandro is a really nice guy, and passionate about coffee. It was a wonderful experience. I've seen other coffee tours, but this one was perfect for me. It was a very personable experience. I learned a lot from Leandro and had some wonderful coffee, which he helped me appreciate on another level. I'll try to implement some of the insight he passed on, when I get home. Warning: This will ruin Starbucks and other lesser coffees for you! (but that's a good thing)

We had an amazing experience at Divino Cafe Especial! While traveling in Colombia I wanted to know more about coffee and wanted to understand more about what I drink :) This workshop with Leandro was the BEST! In a short time he made us understand about coffee, the flavors, how to choose quality coffee outside anywhere around the world, how to prepare a good coffee at home and more... Leandro didn't just gave us the information, he really made us think by our self in the tasting time, so we could learn and decide what's good and what's not. It was informative, fun & delicious!

What a fantastic way to learn more about coffee! Leandro was a fantastic host, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him. My husband is a hard-core coffee lover and had the best time. I don't drink coffee, and loved it as well. Great experience!!

What an incredible experience this was! Me and my dad wanted to learn a little more about coffee and have the opportunity to taste an authentic colombian coffee and that is exactly what we got! It was amazing to us to see all the different ways you can prepare coffee and how different they taste with the same bean! Highly reccomend to anyone looking for a real experience of fresh coffee! Really informative coffee tasting experience with Leandro. Learnt a lot about the different tastes and aromas of coffee and the effects that different serving techniques have on the flavour. Will definitely be reviewing the way I serve up my coffee in the future! Leandro’s coffee is some of the best I’ve tasted too...so the trip is great value as well...highly recommended!

This was well worth the trip into La Candelaria for an outstanding coffee tasting experience. Leandro spoke in both Spanish and English for my group. It started with us doing tests between low quality widely sold commercial coffee versus quality roasted and processed coffee. Even going through the infamous SBux Barista training experience, I learned more here about coffee in 2 hours than a week in their immersion training. We tested the coffee fragrance, aroma and taste.. and I learned that coffee that I thought was actually pretty good, was actually the mass produced lower quality.. pretty eye opening. Next we then tried the higher quality coffee being made in numerous ways (4 different processes) and it’s incredible how different each one tasted. Their quality coffee through the espresso machine was amazing, probably the best espresso shot I’ve ever had. We then purchased a few pounds of his small batch roasted coffee for the road, can’t wait to make it here at the house. Excellent experience well worth the time and very affordable. Plus, there’s tons of other things to see and do close to this place so you can have fun before/after. Thanks Leandro!

This is exactly what I was looking for in a coffee workshop/tasting. Leandro have expert knowledge in coffee, from the agriculture to the production and the final preparation of the cup of coffee. I’ve been in various coffee workshop/tastings in different countries and this is the best so far. Very informative and friendly material with lots of insights on achieving the perfect cup of coffee.
