Very pleased with my trekking experience with Kwesa tour. The director Edward was great human. He truly made me feel like home. I am so glad I opt out using western companies and decided with local companies. My guide Tulzia, the waiter Juma and the whole crew that were supporting me in my journey to conquer Kilimanjaro were truly amazing people. I initially signed up for 8 days so summit day will be my birthday but ended up completing it in 6 due to misunderstanding but ended up being great. When I got back they threw me huge birthday party which ended up being the best. Also I ended up going as private since no one else has signed up for that day which worked out great. Please choose local companies and support locals.

The crew provided exceptional service, prioritizing our needs. Haji, our knowledgeable guide, went above and beyond to ensure our safety and summit success. Additionally, the cuisine was top-notch. I highly recommend investing in the toilet facility for a more comfortable experience.

We went with KWESA for our Kilimanjaro Lemosho Trek and it is an adventure that we will remember forever. Trekking up Kilimanjaro is super tough, the cold, thin air, bad weather and chilly winds are some of the tough conditions that we had to battle with on our way to the summit. We had Teacher with us leading two other guides; Kaniki and Seif plus 14 porters making it quite a big group. We owe our successful summit attempt to the wonderful crew. They pushed and supported us in all possible ways to get us there, making beautiful memories of the course along the way. Special thanks to Teacher who not only helped us plan the trip, but also led the expedition. I definitely recommend KWESA to everyone.

For this one in a life time trekking trip I give Teacher and his team five stars. Were it possible I would have given more for the people were outstanding, the service excellent and the experience the best we have had in a long time. The guides were concerned about our well being and made every effort to keep us safe, comfortable at all times. Everything went according to the daily plan that Marko would share with us during the morning briefing. The crew kept a comfortable pace sparing our reserves for the tough alpine section close to the summit. We both made it to the summit on 15th Jan thanks to the support of our outstanding crew led by Marko. We count ourselves lucky to have had such a great team and company behind us.

We were two couples from Lisbon who came to Tanzania on holiday. We went on a five day trip to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater which has been an amazing experience. The whole trip was well organized, with great game drives with our guide/driver Kimario. Kimario is an amazing guide having done countless trips in his more than 10 years' experience of guiding travelers. He drove carefully and did not spook the animals and gave us enough time to enjoy various animal encounters. His explanations to our unending questions were on point. We did not miss even a single activity thanks to the perfect scheduling by Teacher at the office. He had guided us excellently in the booking process. I am glad to say that the trip exceeded our expectations in all ways and we will definitely come back to Tanzania for another adventure.

The Kilimanjaro trek via Lemosho was fantastic. We had some of the best guides/porters/cook with us and they did phenomenal work. I give credit to Teacher who coordinated the whole process from booking, preparing the team and ensuring we had the right equipment and sufficient supplies. We enjoyed the trek, the crew guided us in doable pace punctuated with rest breaks. They taught us everything about Kilimanjaro, discussed local culture and so many other topics. The porters were great, they worked great assisting with the camps and also did all the heavy lifting. At camp we had great meals and rested well in the comfortable tents. Our troupe leader Rashid is an outstanding guy. He took no chances with our health. Ensured that we had regular health checks, and made sure that we ate well. He would then brief us about the next day's section and the requirements. Getting to the summit was pretty tough and I doubt that we could have reached the summit without their support. I highly appreciate the support and great organization by Kilimanjaro Wonders Expedition Safari team. They are absolutely amazing!

We climbed Kilimanjaro via Lemosho Route. Service, food and the crew were great. Without them reaching the summit would not be possible. Also Edward was really communicative and helpful. I would definitely recommend KWESA Tours.

Our Kilimanjaro experience exceeded our expectations. Everything was well taken of by Teacher our host and lead guide during the successful attempt. Planning and payment went smoothly because we had all the information that we requested for from Teacher. He even organized for us to hire equipment at very reasonable fees. Teacher had a great team of guides including Brenton and Simon for the four of us, assisted by many porters and one cook. They supported all aspects of our trek and kept us in good health and high spirits. Teacher showed us interesting spots along the course to the summit, sharing different interesting accounts from past climbs. We learnt swahili, bongoflava and heard a lot about the different customs from the many tribes that make up Tanzania. This was a great experience and I recommend KWESA wholeheartedly.

I booked the Kilimanjaro trek via Lemosho with KWESA and they did an amazing job. A super kind and very experienced guide, great food and excellent service. Everything was well organized. I also did other trips with this operator (safari, day trips) and it was always quite nice. I highly recommend this company!

Before i had even booked the trek Edward and Lazaro were answering my questions amd giving me all the information i wanted regarding the trip/gear etc... I really appreciated that has i had a lot of queries. And has we were talking about something very important and expensive for me, it was useful that i understood as much as i could before actually arriving. When i arrived i was met by Brenton, a member of the porters team and also a driver who took me straight to the hotel where i met Edward, Edwards brother and the guide for me trip, William. There was a little bit of a break down of communication as they had thought that i wanted to start my trip on the 3rd of March with 2 other people but in fact i wanted to start a day earlier, to be in line with my flight out of Kili. But that, like everything else, was no problem. HAKUNA MATATA! My guide was happy to start the next day (the 2nd) and said that he'd check my gear then we'd head out for a walk around town. As i was going to stay in Africa for 4 months i didn't bring some of the gear, the big sleeping bag snd ski pants. Again no problem as you can rent everything you need and i had no issue with any of the equipment i rented. To the mountain! Simply put, it was fantastic. I did the Lemosho route in 6 days and not only was it absolutely stunning but i liked it as i was able to acclimatise well. Due to this i summited with little difficulty. I also had a great team that were all happy and friendly. All of them encouraging and by the time i got to camp for lunch or to stay the night my tent was set up and food was being prepared. The food by the way was great! Way better than i expected. My guide was always happy to answer my questions about the mountain and would give clear briefs the night before to make sure i knew what the following day entailed amd how we were going to approach it. The after party! So i had a few days after my climb as i had completed it sooner due to not needing an acclimatisation day. And during this time my guide Will was happy to show me some good places to have dinner, some good bars for a drink and even the local nightclub. This was a great experience and one that i was not expecting. All in all i had a successful climb and i was never in any doubt that i was being taken care of. I would absolutely recommend these guys for future tours

My fiancee and I traveled to Tanzania during covid. We summitted Kilimanjaro and did a 6 day safari through Kwesa tours and had an amazing time from start to finish! Kwesa is an extremely professional family-operated company. Edward was especially responsive over Whatsapp while we were planning the trip. We did the Lemosho trek with Edward's brothers Joseph and Goodluck who made the entire experience very memorable. They even offered to carry our daypacks for us when we got tired, which definitely helped us make our way to the summit. We ended up summiting and coming down in just 6 days, so we added two days to our original 4-day safari, which Edward was able to swiftly organize. After coming down from the mountain, Edward took us out to a nice dinner in town with Joseph and Goodluck. We really felt like family! We did the Safari with Brighton and Felix, who were also excellent. Felix was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and Brighton was a very professional driver. The lodges we stayed at were very high-end and better than expected. Edward is very resourceful and will go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. He even helped us organize a covid test in Zanzibar so we could fly back to the U.S. Overall, I would highly recommend Kwesa tours to anyone looking to explore Tanzania.

The 4 of us booked 8 days Kilimanjaro climbing using the longer Lemosho track with Kilimanjaro Wonders Expedition Adventures. Communication prior to the trek was smooth and as Teacher was helpful, and patient with us. Our guides proved helpful, and supportive during the climb, they he took time to ensure our health with daily checks for blood pressure, oxygen levels as well as maintaining Corona precautions. We reached the summit exhausted, views there were jaw-dropping, especially the sunrise above the clouds! We have no regrets for using this wonderful company

My girlfiend and I began our two week long Tanzania vacation with 8 days Kilimanjaro Lemosho trek. KWESA was our choice given the vast experience of Edward/Teacher the leader of the mountain crew (he was recommended by my sister Abigail) and had the best value for money for Kilimanjaro plus safari. Our experience was fantastic – The Company is very professional and the trip would not have been same without them. Teacher the owner KWESA was wonderfully helpful, timely and flexible during the booking process of our hike from Paris. Upon our arrival we found that he had organized everything extremely well and was fully prepared for our 8 days Lemosho route Kilimanjaro trek. The whole trek went smoothly like clockwork with a very professional and experienced climbing team led by Teacher. It was an extra tough challenge but we overcame it thanks to excellent planning, great equipment and endurance for guides, porters and cook. I highly recommend KWESA for making us part of those who’ve set foot on the highest point in Africa.

Amazing trip, Without the KSESA team we are not sure that we would not have succeeded in making the summit. Your team on the mountain went above and beyond what was in their job description. They knew what we needed before. Everyone had a smile on their face all the time. On the Summit day the help us a lots. They were as determined as we were to make it to the Summit. Food is absolutely wonderful even though we are vegetarian. Special thanks to our guide and the potters, especially Joseph and Yunis.

I had the opportunity to achieve the Uhuro Peak with this amazing team. I arrived alone and our group was only me, 1 guide (Tchasaka), 1 cooker (Samuel), 1 assistant (Victor) and 3 Porters. They were very professional, supportive and I could feel safe and confident to get to the summit. The food was amazing, Samuel really cooked amazing soups, breakfasts, popcorn and dinners. Victor was really gentle and provided a great service. And Tchasaka (Joseph) has a lot of experience in the trail, talking about plants, flowers, animals, knowing how to handle altitude and I can say he gave me the last push to get to the summit. I highly recommend KWESA if you want to do this trekking. I also recommend to ask (before going) for the Tipping table that they have as reference because I didn`t know about that and it was higher than the values that I could find in the internet. They all deserve the best because was really good. Also I recommend to take all in cash because I had problem in the ATM with my card. Edward, the owner, is very attentive and willing to propose the best experience.

Our Kilimanjaro trekking experience has been one great journey though it took so much determination and help from crew to reach Kilimanjaro summit. Teacher was very responsive and supportive in planning, he advised on the best route - we selected 8 days Lemosho, packing the right gear and travel details that made our entry to Tanzania hassle free. We joined a group of 4 other climbers supported by Teacher assisted by guides Shaban and Damien, as well as eighteen porters and Martin the outstanding chef. The six of us made it to the summit and owe it to Teacher and his team, walking at high altitude was immeasurably difficult, the bodies weakened by thin air, clambering steep inclines and slippery terrain in sub-temperatures. Without a doubt this is the hardest climb of my life, my brother and I would not have made it without this crew!

My brother and I just returned from Tanzania where we successfully reached Kilimanjaro’s summit on January 25 following the 8 days Lemosho route. It was such an incredible experience with an amazing crew of KWESA. Our climbing party had 3 other amateur climbers from Turkey, Italy and Japan who were great climbing companions. The crew was exceptional in every way, knowledgeable and friendly –carefully steering us within safety. There were daily checks on our blood pressure, oxygen levels and general heath. Food was delicious and plentiful prepared fresh by the camp cook Kasala, it always had fruit and vegies. We were very impressed by the level of support, particularly during the attempt for summit, each climber had someone for support. I was lucky to be with Goodluck who pushed, assisted, motivated and helped me get to Uhuru Peak! A few important points: 1. Hire the mobile toilet, its only $100 but worth every penny 2. Carry small denomination $$ for tips to crew. They deserve it and much more 3. Don’t forget sunglasses, sunscreen, extra rolls of toilet paper and vaseline 4. Have fun!

We had a great experience with KWESA during our recent Kilimanjaro Lemosho trek. They were very professional and approached all the aspects of trek in a very organized manner. We were very impressed by Lazaro who helped us to trace one of our bags which had been misplaced by the airline the following morning just before we began our trek at no cost. Our guides were very experienced and friendly, leading the party to the summit successfully. They took great care of my teenage son with good food, comfortable tents and regular health check. This route is slightly longer but we are glad we opted for it because we did not experience altitude sickness. I will recommend this company to all my friends.
