Seeing the animals close-up made this a memorable experience. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Australia.

Nice day at park. Tob was great guide. Time at park seemed about an hour too long. Very limited koala viewing opportunity but kangaroos were plentiful!

We never got to go on this excursion as our ship docked 3 hours late. As the captain didn't make the announcement until his daily update at noon, we didn't find out until within 24 hours of the trip, so we're only getting 1/2 of our money back. Not happy. We have a total of 9 excursions scheduled, this was our 3rd. We docked an hour late in Albany and Busy Blue bus tours made allowances and picked us up at the port. When I heard back from pureSA, they said they had administrative expenses and that is why they could only refund 1/2 of our money. They didn't have to pick us up at the port, so where are the administrative expenses?

Cleland is a great place to visit and thoroughly enjoyable however do not book with Viator or Pure SA (the tour company). It's easy to do it yourself and much cheaper! The cost of this trip with viator - ie the price we paid was £141.66.  If we had gone on our own via Uber, 2 people with a return journey would have been £79.95.   We could even have caught the local bus and it would have been even cheaper. The ticket we received said English Guide.  There was no guide.  The"driver" did not speak to anyone, he picked us up (there were 6 of us in total) and he drove us to Cleland.  He had the sat nav on all the way there and the radio on full volume.  No interaction at all. On arrival at Cleland he said he'd never been there before and he was taking the opportunity to do some photography.  He walked far too quickly from the car park to the entrance; there were 2 elderly ladies on the trip who we had to wait for and look out for as he left them behind. On arrival at Cleland entrance he paid for the 6 of us to go in with his credit card and left us and said see you later.  It was later as well as he was 30 minutes late picking us up.   Despite having a minibus full of bottles of water he did not share these around.  There was also no animal feed included in the trip despite many of the reviews on the website saying this was included. The "driver" did not know we were supposed to be going to Mt Lofty so had to do it at the end of the day by which time it was going too dark and cloudy to see anything.  Again he swiftly left the bus and headed for the entrance and we had to wait for the ladies ourselves.  There was no interaction with us again - didn't point out any places of interest or pass on any information etc.   We were totally ripped off and conned!

We had a lovely day at Cleland Wildlife Park via Mount Lofty summit. We had about 4 hours at the park which allowed a very relaxing, no pressure day with lots of time with the animals. We had lunch at the park as well which was reasonably priced and delicious.

Just fantastic. The park is wonderful, the landscape awesome and the chance to feed kangaroos and pet koalas is not to be missed. Brilliant day all round 😊

We had a friendly young guide who gave us some general background on Adelaide as we headed up into the hills. The Mt lofty view stop had to be aborted as all roads up were closed while power lines were being repaired. The park is well organized with close to natural environments for the animals you are guaranteed some encounters either wallabies and kangaroos, other animals such as koalas are time dependent.

Brought overseas visitors to this park, they loved the experience to get up close with the different animals and then to have the opportunity to hold a koala and have their photo taken was an added bonus for them to take home and show others.

I had a memorable experience in this park. Feeding Kangaroos, touching the Koalas and spend time watching them eat leaves

The tour was a very simple one just on the outskirts of Adelaide. Saw the city and area from a great vantage point. A fun stop at Cleland wildlife park. We got to hold Koalas and got to be up close to Kangaroos and many other animals.

This was a really awesome tour and a really awesome experience. I highly recommend this as the easiest way to spend some time with some Koalas and Kangaroos. There were other animals of course but everyone always wants the Koalas. The people at PureSA are great and made the entire experience super enjoyable. Bit of advice for everyone looking to hold a Koala, be sure to reserve your tickets for the Koala Hold experience at Cleland as far in advance as possible. This will sell out just like it did the day I visited the park. You can still do the Koala Closeup that comes with the tour but I wish I knew ahead of time to buy my reservation as early as possible. Next time.

Great tour! Great Experience! Be sure to try and reserve your Koala Hold tickets before your tour. As far in advance as possible. They sold out the day I went so I had to settle for the Koala Close Up experience that comes with the tour. The Cleland Wildlife Park experience is great for a leisurely day. Bring a picnic if you'd like or enjoy the food sold at the cafe. Either way, you'll enjoy yourself.

Beautiful park with huge enclosures. Saw a wild kangaroo just outside the park too. Our driver was very informative and thoughtful. Had a great time.

This was my favourite day in Adelaide - our tour guide was nice and informative. Cleland was so fun, very clean, the staff were lovely and the animals were the best! You can get so close and interact with all different species- it was awesome.

Great place to spend your day. Lots of kangaroos and wallabies. You can hand-feed them all day...! Mike from PureSA was on time to pick us from the hotel and it was half an hour ride from Adelaide city. Mike guided us throughout so that we won't miss any important animals in the park. On the way, you may visit the mount lofty summit as well. There are some beautiful views from the edge of the wildlife park as well.

I loved the trip. On time pick and drop at location near my location, which was great. Mike was very friendly and shared information on area and park. First 10 mins stop at mount lofty view of whole Adelaide. It will be great at sunset I think as the view is great. Beautiful park and felt one with animals and nature. Wombats are so cute , fed kangaroos, Emu and birds, felt calm and happiness. Saw koalas close up they are so adorable but due to covid we couldn’t hold them but had close ups one family at a time. Big area to cover but didn’t feel tired. There is lookout point where you can see Adelaide , just beautiful. Good cafe and their vegetarian sandwich was so fresh and coffee was good. The gift shop is bit expensive but had 10% tour discount voucher. Overall it was a nice day 24 degrees not hot just perfect and great trip where the animals are free and you get to be in their home.
