My husband and I were very much looking forward to this tour of San Francisco and it certainly didn’t disappoint, in fact WOW! It was absolutely brilliant!! Jerome was so lovely, friendly, chatty, funny and knowledgeable he really did make us feel at ease right from the start. We were out for hours and hours and saw every possible sight worth seeing plus an extra surprise stop! He really knows his stuff, he is very accommodating and we had an absolute blast in his double sidecar. This was definitely the highlight of our trip and If we ever find ourselves back in SF we will certainly be booking to go out again. I seriously recommend anyone and everyone to book a tour, you will be so pleased you did and will make unforgettable memories (with lots of photos included!!) All was great! The views, the guided tour and a wonderful surprise (we were celebrating a special family occasion). They went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time. Also, we loved riding the bikes!. We have a ton of pictures and they also took the time to take some of us. A very nice way to experience the city! We are used to cold weather- but it's still a good idea to wear a windbreaker.

We booked our tour for a family of four (2 adults and 2 teens) prior to arriving in SF. Jerome was a brilliant communicator from the start with prompt emails and then WhatsApp’s once we had arrived in California. Our guides, Michael and Jean-Paul, were brilliant and great fun. They took us to places we would never have seen on our own, and told us facts that kept all ages entertained. The sidecars can take you down roads that the tour buses definitely can’t go so I am really glad we decided to go with ridesbyme. Michael is brilliantly funny and had us all in stitches. We had a double sidecar and a single sidecar so we could all move around with being either in the cars or on the back of the bike. We had a problem with the microphone on my helmet (the family really didn’t mind my being unable to speak for part of the journey) but the guys had a spare helmet with them so we just swapped it over. All bases covered. Jerome came to join us for the final part of our ride and it was lovely to meet him. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone coming to SF. We did the tour on day one so that we could then decide where we wanted to explore further in the remaining time we had.

Jérôme was a great host! Very knowledgeable and entertaining and made the tour a blast. My gf said after the tour that she now refuses to travel by any means other than a sidecar! Give it a shot, you won’t regret it.

This tour was a blast! Jerome highlighted the best of SF while providing fascinating history and trivia. For a first-time visitor with limited time, the sidecar was absolutely the best way to see the sights. Highly recommend!

Laissez le bon temps rouler!!! OIU!! Six days ago, I had the ride and tour of a lifetime with Jerome from Rides By Me Classic Sidecar Tours. I still have a permanent smile on my face. Due to the rainy weather, Jerome contacted me in advance before my arrival in SFO to ensure that I was prepared clothing wise for the ride and to see if I was flexible with my schedule just in case Mother Nature had other plans. Due to his professionalism and my flexibility, it all worked out and I thoroughly enjoyed the City tour, atmospheric river,etc. It was the perfect choice for my solo BornDay trip to San Francisco. The tour was definitely carefully thought out and curated with an itinerary of locations troupled with historical background and little known facts, excellent photo ops (esp. Golden Gate Bridge) and not to mention the breath taking views after safely climbing steep graded hills. I definitely still feel like a Queen. I hope to do a Wine Tour upon my return.

This is really the best way to get an overview of SF. We did the tour on our 1st full day there. Jerome takes you through most of the neighborhoods and points out the best places to eat or other areas you may want to see. He stops at all the photo ops and tells you all the history behind it. He is so knowledgeable about the city. It was great because some of the sights are a 1 and done and to do them on a motorcycle is cool - Lombard St. or GG Bridge. I would 100% recommend this tour.

We had a great time touring San Francisco. Our guides were lovely guys who explained everything we saw and put stuff in context. We saw everything we wanted to and had plenty of time to take photos at every stop. Highly recommended! Also, the sidecar is awesome!

Got to ride across Golden Gate Bridge, down to great coastal view points and woodlands. Great fun, felt very safe and had microphone interaction throughout. Trip took us to many places around the city from coastal to beautiful parks with views of the city. Jerome was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable

What a riot! Not only is this one of the best unique experience I have found on Viator, I became the Queen of San Fran as I was going around town with Jerome, who knows EVERYONE. People will hollar, wave at the beautiful bike and be envious that YOU are riding in it. Be the envy of the town! Jerome really gave a taste of all the best that San Fran has to offer. My only regret was not doing this adventure FIRST in my trip because he pointed out places I would have visited that I hadn't originally planned based on his storytelling of this city's amazing history. One of the best experiences I had as a tourist; COVID safe!! Looking at the sunset, the sense of freedom, with a nice historical touch, the host really kind and pleasant, definitely I will do it again, its once on al lifetime experience

** COVID SAFE ** Let me start off by saying I am terrified of motorcycles. So when my girlfriend booked this tour for me as a surprise birthday gift I can't say I was thrilled. In fact I spent two hours pacing my hotel room floor trying to figure out how to get out of it! Finally I decided to bite the bullet and do the tour, and I'm so glad I did!! Jerome picked me up from my hotel and explained the motorcycle and sidecar to me and how they're built for cruising rather than speed. We spent several minutes discussing my concerns, all of which he graciously addressed before helping me into the sidecar. Both riders wear a helmet which is paired via Bluetooth so you can have a conversation as you travel around the city. And Jerome assured me the cleaning protocols he has in place made the helmet very very safe to wear. I was instantly surprised how comfortable a sidecar is. Despite being closer to the ground I felt unbelievably safe the entire tour. The bike we rode on is a 2018 BMW and everywhere we went we attracted attention! Jerome is a very engaging tour guide, taking time to ask questions about things to find out what interests you - this type of organic conversation allows him to plot points so he take you to places you will find interesting, rather than the same old tourist traps everyone takes you to. He also shares many stories about the history of San Francisco as well as stories on current events. The highlight of the tour was definitely going across the Golden Gate Bridge in a motorcycle sidecar!! For those of you concerned about speed, the highest speed we reached during the entire tour was approximately 40 miles an hour and that was only to keep up with the speed of traffic when crossing the bridge. And for those of you concerned about room inside of the sidecar, I can tell you there is plenty of room (both length and breadth) and it is very easy to get in and out without any trouble. This personal tour is ideal. In 3 hours we covered so many places in such a short duration of time because of our mode of transportation. As someone who has traveled extensively I can say with a level of certainty I'm yet to experience a tour which encompasses so much in such a short period of time but does not make you feel rushed or hurried along. I have never been to San Francisco before, and never had much of a desire to visit. After spending the afternoon Jerome, he helped me fall in love with a city which I had never been enamored with. I really can't say enough good things about Jerome or this tour. With the city being currently in lockdown there are limitations on what visitors can do while in the city. But because you are wearing a mask the entire time, and are in the open air, this tour is very safe.

Really enjoy this trip that give a great overview of SF city. The side-car tour has several advantages compared to "classical" tours : - easy to look in all directions - easy to get around (even in small alleys) - Enjoy the Californian weather (even in december) - Covid free I highly recommend this experience to discover san francisco

First and most important of all, Covid safe than any other group experience since there’s just you and the driver, outdoor, running. What makes sidecar special is people’s reactions (and Jerome). They will stare, smile, and wave at you. Sidecar also gets to bring you to small allies& unexpected small spots that bigger cars just can’t go. Can’t recommend enough, you WILL have a wonderful time!

Finally traveling 🧭 during this Pandemic 😷.. Luckily I chose this wonderful tour!! Completely safe protocols for Covid👏👏 Jerome was the most professional tour guide ; he took me to all the amazing views that San Francisco has to offer. I am traveling to visit my nephew & stopped over briefly in San Francisco to experience the scenery that my hometown doesn’t have. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ✌️✌️🏍💨💨🌉

Riding around San Francisco with Jerome is a fantastic experience that we shall simply never forget. He picked us up at our hotel, showed us his amazing bike and sidecar and then we were off. We saw all the sights, but nothing was rushed and his excellent radio intercom meant that we never missed anything he had to share with us about the city he so plainly loves. I shall always remember crossing the Golden Gate bridge leaning back to see the huge towers and the wind rushing all around me. His choice of spots to stop for a photo is excellent and his friendly and polite manner meant that our 3 hours seemed to fly by, leaving us both with a huge well of memories and sights. With only a few days to experience the city, we both felt that we had at least seen it all with Jerome. Bring a camera for sure and take his advice on clothing and footwear.
