Our guide frank was superb, friendly, funny kind and helpful. He led us excellently and could not have been better. The cook balbino was superb, giving us a 3 course meal I would happily pay £50 for in a restaurant every single night, with interactive experiences and ancient cooking techniques. Even a flambé desert one night! The trek itself was stunning and I couldn’t think of one thing that could have been executed in a better manner.

This trip was challenging, amazing, beautiful and we were so well taken care of by the team (Baltran, Jubanal, Rolando, Aparício, Sarita). We were confident in Sarita, our guide, from the beginning and she was excellent! Rolando and Aparício and the team of horses got everything to the campsite and meal locations safely and we were amazed and how quickly and efficiently they set up camp for us. And the food-5 star! And presented beautifully-we were totally wowed by everything!

This was an amazing tour organized by Trexperience. From the debrief the day before we left where everything was explained in detail and any queries we might have had were answered and then began the trek. One of the best things I've ever done. The guide (Filio) was amazing and his knowledge was wonderful and his enthusiasm was catchy. The two chefs that travelled with us (Raimundo and Santos) as part of the trek went far and beyond their job. The menu that they came up with everyday was astounding and varied. I am a vegetarian who doesn't eat fish or eggs so didn't have any high expectations regarding the food as it's not easy to cater for but more than happy to admit the food each day was delicious and flavourful and you could tell that a lot of thought and process went into it. The trek on the whole was tough but highly rewarding and not enough words could do it justice.

After 20 years of hospitality on yachts. The level of service is high. Pepe and Rosmel give all the energy to this trek and they are full of passion. They love their work and do everything. The chef is amazing and the food is magical. (I'm a chef) The porters work hard and you can be sure that the bed and your tent 🏕️ are ready and clean. The best of Peru

The trek was beautiful. We saw glacier-covered mountains and lush rainforest, all in a single day. The food was tremendous and the service first class. Our guide, Filio, was deeply knowledgeable about botany, Inkan culture, and the lives of the people who lived in the villages along the trail.

Had a great time on this trail, our guide Roger was the best. Very informative and easy to understand and he made it fun taking our pictures, a real pro! The food each day was amazing, Oscar and Valvino prepared elaborate meals 3 times a day that were better than the fancy restaurants we tried around Cusco. Highly recommend TreXperience plus they are local family owned and operated!

Amazing trek led by the best guides Manolo and Jose!! I really appreciated Manolo’s incredible knowledge of the history & culture of Peru as a whole as well as the areas we trekked through. the guides gave us a really special experience and worked together well to manage everyone’s needs at once. I felt really informed and motivated for the trek and all times, important to mention the food by the chef Simchi exceeded our expectations - we couldn’t get over how delicious the food was every meal and catered very well to vegetarians. We also even had a delicious birthday cake made for one of the member’s birthday which really made it special thanks to the guides and cooks attention to detail.

Once in a life experience. Everything was perfect. Team worked really hard. Every meal was wonderful. Guide very knowledgeable and patient. Highly recommended.

Amazing trail with friendly guides (thanks Jose and Sara), incredible good Peruvian food (thanks to the cooks Oscar, Julio y Balbino) and not to forget the horsemen who took care of all the lugage. A trip not to forget!

This trip was very nice and unforgettable. Walking in the beautiful nature, sleeping between the mountains and at the end visiting Machu Picchu with a nice guide. Thank you, it was amazing! The only thing I think that’s weird is that they ask a certain amount of tipping already before the trip, what makes it a little bit awkward.

Very fun, awesome meals, cool views and we had very good weather. The only downside in my opinion is the fact that the company 'suggests' tips in the start which can be uncomfortable and a bit weird.

The hike was amazing! Beautiful view, very good food(thanks Oscar, Balbino and Julius Caesar for the best (Peruvian) food I have ever eaten! Also Sara and Jose are amazing guides!
