Nissim was a great guide, very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. He covered all the main areas of the Old City and left the Dome of the Rock for us to explore on our own.

If you are a history buff or just want to get a better understanding of Jerusalem, an old city tour with Nissim is a must. He shares diagrams and illustrations he has made himself. Our tour was scheduled for 3 hours but he actually spent 4 with us because he had so much information to share. Ask about an even longer tour if your schedule allows - there is so much to see and understand.

We took the 6 hour tour with Nissim as a group of 8 people. Rather than just taking us around the Old City to see the sights, Nissim ensured we had a thorough understanding of the history of the city, which is so important to understanding Jerusalem. We had three kids under 6 in our family group and Nissim was patient and accommodating to the needs of the kids. We stopped for a delicious lunch half way through, and also visited a recommended juice stand. I really appreciated the fact that Nissim is a reserve officer in the IDF, which really added to his credibility and perspective. Nissim’s tour was a great value for a family group and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

We did a tour of the various interesting sites from our hotel and a large part in the old city, unfortunately due to the heat it was quite tiring and after a while it became too much

Nissim was an amazing tour guide and extremely knowledgeable about all things Israel and the Old City. My husband and I have taken plenty of city tours, but to be honest, most of the time we end up zoning out on the information given and focus on looking at the sites — but not with Nissim. He kept us interested and engaged the entire time. We learned more about world history in one afternoon with him than in an entire semester in high school history class! His passion and energy for sharing knowledge about a city with the “most complicated history on earth” is palpable. My two young easily-distracted children came along with us and had their fair share of impatience and disruption of our tour, but Nissim was patient and understanding about the disruptions. We can easily say that our afternoon with him was the highlight of our two week summer trip! Bottom line: if you want to make the absolute most efficient use of your time in Jerusalem and learn the most you can about the city, hands down book a private tour with Nissim. It will be unforgettable.

We are so so pleased with our tour! Nissim is so well informed and brings great passion which lights up the Old City! He was very passionate and keen to answer our questions thoroughly, such that our tour went well over the allotted time, which we greatly appreciate. If you are planning travel to Jerusalem I highly recommend Nissim. We went during Passover week with my family and friends and we hired Nissim for a 3 hour tour that turned into 4 hours because you can see his enthusiasm and love for his city. He went into detail and accuracy in his tour that kept everyone engaged for the time. He allowed all questions and took the time to answer them and we never felt rushed. He went out of his way at the end of the tour to take us the King David tower so we could see the Dome of the work from a high point since it was closed. On our trip to Jerusalem the tour with Nissim was one of the high points because we left more educated and knowledgeable on events of the past and present. Thank you Nissim!

A really enjoyable visit of Jerusalem old City. Nissim is incredibly knowledgeable and shared with us so much information during our visit. He is very passionate about Jerusalem and has so much to share. I would definitely recommend Nissim to a group of adults, slightly harder for children to follow all of the information.
