Inca trekking january 2024 with Gilber. We did the Inca trail 4 day trekking with Gilber and we were very lucky that we got him as our guide. This man knows how to make the full experience for us. The briefing was very clear before the trip and he arranged everything for us. Gilber takes his job very seriously, he briefs the plan for the next day together depending on how we wanted it. He knows exactly what the best plan is considering when to have lunch, what time to get up and taking in account the weather. He is very patient and gave us all the time we wanted at all the sites. This felt super relaxed. Besides that his knowledge about the Inca and Quechuan culture is impressive. He shared many stories and history with us which we enjoyed very much. The way he shared his vision, lifestyle and his respect for his culture was an unique experience for us. Altogether we had an amazing trip and Gilber is an honest and very kind man who will do everything in his power to give us an amazing experience. Thank you so much Gilber! The tour itself was wonderful! Amazing guide, chef, and porters. However I think the tour company, Incredible Peru Tours, missed my booking on viator, as I had to be the one to reach out to them the day before the meeting as I still hadn’t heard from them. So I would recommend booking directly on their website rather than through viator as I’m not sure if they’re still checking viator bookings.

This was easily one of the best experiences in my life. The hike itself was filled with challenges, views, and memories I'll never forget. The porters were superhuman, carrying all of our tents and supplies up and down the mountains like it was nothing. The cooks were out of this world, carrying all of their supplies ahead of us, making meals and service in the mountains better than you could get at many restaurants. Our tour guide Brayan was one of a kind. He was incredibly helpful, supportive, informative, and friendly every step of the way. There were two people in our group who had a harder time on the hike and seemed to have a little trouble with connecting with the group as a whole, but Brayan went above and beyond for each and everyone of us. He would stay back for the two, while the rest of us went ahead, making sure nobody was left behind. He even carried both bags of the two up to Dead woman's pass (including his own) so that the highest point of the trek could be a little easier for them. Overall we all had a wonderful time, and I would recommend this company, this hike, and our tour guide Brayan to any person looking to take on this journey.

Papas (Herbert) led a great trek, taking care to give the small group time to enjoy the experience and all the info to be well-prepared for the walking, as well as great commentary on the various Inca sites, history and geography. He was more than ably assisted by an absolutely fantastic cook Louis, who consistently surprised with quality and volume of prepared meals along the way, as well as the team of Porters who ensured camp was well set up every lunch and night.

We had a great 4D trek to machu picchu, however we would recommend to look at other companies for the following reason: We were the only one out of ~100 tourist who need to carry our own sleeping bag and matress, all other companies offer a duffel bag to off-load a few kilos to the porters at the same price point.* That means i had to lug around a 12-13 kg backpack and my wife a 7 kg backpack for the whole trail. After one day we were lucky that the friendly porters were willing to help carry our mattress. IPT please review your policies or pricing! * IPT also offers off-loading, but its 200USD extra, while most companies include it for free. What we liked: - friendly staff - informative and patient tour guide - personal attention due to small group - beautiful trek What we didn't like: - we were the only two trekkers with IPT so we missed the comradery with fellow trekkers. We understand that IPT often runs small groups (2-5 people). - no offloading of personal equipment to porters included in price

The whole trip was amazing. A truly out of body experience! The team was great, the food was impeccable and tasted so good. Our guide, Miguel, did a really good job! Highly recommend this experience to everyone.

Incredible Peru Tours was fantastic. I can't say enough good things about our guide. He offered help when anyone in the group was struggling and knew a lot about the area and was happy to tell us about his culture. When I was struggling on the long trek down, the guide lent me his trekking sticks. I really felt like I made a new friend. He also helped out the other group members in various ways including exchanging backpacks to relieve weight. As a group, Incredible Peru Tours really helped us out. A couple of people had stomach problems coming into the trip. The chef was absolutely meticulous about the food to ensure that the food was gentle on their stomachs and kept them in the best condition possible. Additionally the food was delicious! Also one cannot help but mention how the porters are amazing at what they do and are in some ways the heroes of these treks. Incredible Peru Tours includes in its cost a tip for these superheroes, which I think is so important. I cannot recommend Incredible Peru Tours more.

Compartimos una experiencia inolvidable con nuestro guía Vidal, el cocinero Luis y su equipo. Todo fue genial, tanto el camino mismo cómo todas las personas que nos atendieron, desde Paul por WhatsApp que contestaba al minuto cuando teníamos cualquier duda hasta todos los detalles del equipo.

Una experiencia inolvidable, muchos sitios arqueológicos que ver y un cambio de paisaje espectacular. El equipo de Vidal, el cocinero Luis y nuestros 6 porteadores estuvieron de lo más atentos con nosotros. Nunca imaginé comer tan bien en alta montaña ni recibir una atención tal. Gracias a ellos!

Es un desafío físico y mental. Al finalizar la satisfacción es unica. Clave, un buen guía y en nuestro caso, Gilber fue un genio. El tenía un equipo muy bueno de porteadores liderado por Luis Alberto. La comida fue espectacular yel ambiente generado fue muy calido e inspirador. Gracias a Gilber y todo su equipo.

Hicimos el camino inka de cuatro dias junto a un gran equipo de porteadores,un magnífico cocinero , Melquiades,que nos sorprendió una y otra vez en cada almuerzo y cena,con especial cuidado a las dietas vegetarianas.Una experiencia estupenda en la que tuvimos la suerte de contar con Vidal ,un gran guía ,motivador y siempre pendiente del grupo.

Excelente experiencia ,la verdad pensé no poder hacerlo ,pero pude gracias a todo el equipo muy atentos ,te ayudaban,alentaban siempre pendientes del grupo,un gran equipo,la organización y predisposición para todo. El guía ,Excelente y el cocinero un verdadero maestro,variado menú muy rico,increíble lo que preparan en la montaña La verdad que recomiendo la agencia y su equipo para realizar esta experiencia, muchas gracia.

Lugares increíbles con la mejor atención del guía Vidal y equipo, el cocinero Melquíades nos dió la mejor comida de Cusco ahí en medio de las montañas. Me costó llegar por mi estado físico, pero siempre me apoyaron.

Tuvimos la suerte de dar con Gilber, un guía increíble. Literalmente no hubiésemos llegado si no fuese por el. Su experiencia fue clave y créanme que mi esposa no hubiese llegado y por ende, yo tampoco. Lo que sabe, lo que ayuda y la compañía en esta jornada inolvidable para nosotros fue clave. Su equipo liderado por Lucho nos sorprendió tanto con la comida como con el servicio durante los 4 días. Gracias por la experiencia. La experiencia fue espectacular y Gilber nuestro guía la hizo aun mejor. No solo explica las cosas de manera excelente, tambien está atento a todo el grupo, que no nos falte de nada, y lo más importante. Le pone alma a todo lo que hace. Por otro lado Luis Alberto, el chef hizo un trabajo espectacular, comidas siempre diferentes y todas riquisimas. Parecia que estabamos en un restaurante en vez de en el camino inca. Insuperable su trabajo y dedicación. En general la experiencia es irrepetible y única en el mundo.

En un viaje de 40 días por Perú y Bolivia esta ha sido para mí la mejor experiencia. Simplemente maravilloso. El trabajo de nuestro guía Gilbert es excepcional, dando libertad para que cada uno en el grupo pueda ir a su ritmo (Buenas pateadas de ida y venida se daba para controlarnos a todos) y explicando todos los restos arqueológicos que se encuentran por el camino. Además es un excelente fotógrafo!!! Nuestro Chef Luis Alberto y los porteadores nos deleitaron con una más que abundante cantidad de exquisita comida Peruana. Es increíble lo que pueden hacer en una tiendecita de campaña con dos fuegos. El único pero al camino no se le puede achacar al equipo humano sino a la gestión del camino del Inca, el olor y la limpieza de los baños deja demasiado que desear. El equipo de la oficina resolvió todas las dudas y aconsejó en todo momento. Importante la.mochila, el frontal, los bastones y la botella para el agua.

Tuvimos el placer de disfrutar de un recorrido increíble con nuestro guía Héctor. Su pasión por la historia local y su energía contagiosa hicieron que cada momento del tour fuera emocionante. No solo nos llevó a los lugares más emblemáticos, sino que también compartió anécdotas fascinantes que realmente enriquecieron la experiencia. Su conocimiento profundo y su habilidad para mantenernos comprometidos hicieron que el recorrido fuera memorable. ¡Recomiendo encarecidamente a Héctor a cualquiera que quiera descubrir Machu Picchu de una manera única y emocionante!
