Our driver was exactly where they said he should be ahead of time. A very nice driver who gave us a few travel tips for Rome.

Prompt, easy service from port to Rome. Driver had a sign with my name, was parked close by. Very friendly and informative . I would highly recommend.

My wife & I hired a private driver to take us to Rome for a different, private tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. We were nervous because we were uncertain of when our ship would dock and how long it would take to get to Rome so we could get there on time. Our driver was incredible! We communicated with the company through the Viator app and our driver arrived shortly after we had disembarked from the ship. He made it to our arrival destination in plenty of time before our tour so we could have espresso and pastries at a nearby cafe. Thank you SO much. Our driver was informative and reassured us about our trip into the city. We would definitely do this again and it was well worth the price.

Perfect size vehicle. They were helpful in loading and unloading all of our luggage. Got us to our destination in a timely manner.

This is my second experience with Viator where communications to the actual provider of services was mismanaged and it was very difficult to contact the vendor directly. In this instance we requested a 9:00 AM pickup from a limo service, we received confirmation of the pickup but with no time listed, no one showed at 9:00 and the listed limo company did not answer the phone. Viator support call took 45 minutes (Viator support is based in a 3rd world country) before they finally told us the scheduled pickup was 10:00 AM. Not the limo company's fault, just poor scheduling/communication from Viator.

Excellent! We were a bit apprehensive about this, but it was quite easy. Walked off the ship, through the terminal where drivers were waiting with signs. A little chaotic, but no problem. Driver handled our luggage on both ends of the trip. Just two of us in comfortable Mercedes van. Very little English, but not a problem. Pleasant drive, very little traffic until Rome. About 90 minutes. Would highly recommend.

We had the same driver pick us up at the shop- Edmundo. I thought the pickup was at 930am so I called and they stated that it was for 1030am. I looked at my order and it was my mistake. Then at 1025 am I got a text stating that the car got a flat tire. Edmundo showed up at 1045am and apologized. Stuff happens. The company kept me updated and we were able to get to Rome. He asked if he wanted to take a scenic route—- sure we said. Got to see the Vatican and he drove past some other places. Could not of be more impressed with his service

Driver met us as we came off of the ship w/our name clearly visible; helped w/luggage to car and then loaded w/o assistance. found alternate route quickly as original was closed. we arrived at the train station on time with a very comfortable ride and a very cautious driver. although pricey, worth the money!

No problem getting from the cruise port to our hotel downtown Rome. Traffic was horrible... Alberto was great.

The driver was friendly and ready to pick us up ahead of schedule. He was a great driver and we arrived at our destination without incident. The cost was very reasonable and the vehicle was well maintained and clean with plenty of space for our group and luggage.

Our Viator driver was excellent! He was waitng at the dock with our names on a sign and he was 45 minutes early. Our driver spoke English very well and our hour long trip went by quickly as we discussed things to do in Rome with him. This was our 3rd Viator scheduled trip in 2 weeks and I highly recommend them based on our positive experiences.

Cannot say in a few words it was awesome inspiring beautiful +++++ Would tell everyone to pick this early morning tour. My brain is on overload from all the time we had well in front of the crowds

Stephane was our driver who was very knowledgeable about the history or Rome and provided very interesting details of all the sites that we visited as well as for those we just drove by. We loved the Trevi fountain, spanish steps, the colosseum, and all the various plazzas we saw on our private tour. We saw so many things during our time spent with Stephane and was able to accomplish seeing more than expected with the benefits of being dropped off right in front of the areas we toured, we could never done this amount of sight seeing on our own in so little time.

This is a LONG trip and it was in quite a bit of traffic and a few accidents due to the rainy weather. The driver was timely, helped us with our bags and provided us a few details along the way. Great job!

We were asked to choose between two pickup points and then after waiting in the rain ☔️ told we should have stayed at our ship. By the time we worked it out we were wet and cold
