City tour Istanbul - On the trails of the symbolics in Istanbul

Istanbul does not only exist since 2,700 years (legendary founding by Orhan from Megara) but already much longer. The recent excavations in the harbor of Theodosius I proved that the city is older than 8,000 years. It was not only ruled by Greeks, Romans and the Ottomans, but many other nations long before living memory.

The city fascinated not only Europeans, but also the rest of the world.

In Istanbul, so many people and institutions of the world met. Many have worked here and they have perpetuated.
