1 - 50
I booked the tour at 12:00. Then I also got a confirmation of the booking. Arrived at 11:50, we had to find out that at 10 o'clock of was rent-a-guiderebooked. Since we wanted to do the tour, we had to book for 19 o'clock (there were still places available) and pay extra. There was (notrent-a-guide) a billing on site at the organizer. I should rent-a-guidesort this out later. Of course nobody was reachable by telephone. It was a Sunday. I don't work rent-a-guidethere. But now to the tour schedule. Arrived at the meeting point at 18:50 and boarded the bus. There you get the maps for the boat tour and for the Eiffel Tower. (It's also important to know. We were not there at 10 o'clock, so no cards were issued.) Then we went to his. Large car park and passenger barges. There were felt thousands of people there and you had to line up in long queues. Then we went to the boat. They were really huge ships, which consisted only of benches. I estimate 500 people per ship. That's how chickens in cages must feel. Then it went up and down the Seine. There was a headset for the mobile phone and you had to download an app that you could hear German commentary while driving. It's just stupid that you couldn't take pictures with your cell phone. The app then deactivated itself. So decided for photos and just no comment heard. The ride itself was nice. Paris at night and all well-known buildings also beautifully illuminated. After about 45 minutes we went ashore again and took the bus for the city tour. There the headphones are plugged into the headphone socket in the bus and German commentary is heard. It was okay and also here the places of interest were gone, which were beautifully illuminated. Then after another 45 minutes we arrived back at the Eiffel Tower. The guide then told us where to go and said goodbye. It would have been better if he'd gone with us to the entrance. It's not that easy to find. Then into the elevator and up onto the platform. The Eiffel Tower is definitely impressive and should really be visited at night. There it is wonderfully illuminated and flickers every hour on the hour for 5 minutes. Also, the view of Paris at night is beautiful. Conclusion: It was just too many people on the boat for me. It's really mass tourism. I was in Paris in the late '90s. It wasn't that crowded then. Especially we weren't in Paris during the holiday season. I don't want to imagine what it's like in the holiday season. Due to the rebooking from rent-a-guideanother time, and in no case culpable behavior of rent-a-guide, I will not recommend this organizer. There is no response to mails. When you call, the small print is referred to. That's actually where the other time was. But in the subject line of the confirmation mail and also here at the product rate is 06 October 12:00 o'clock
Everything went very well and our guide was great.
Alles Perfekt, gerne wieder!
Pech gehabt
