Great value and tour- Definitely a must do! Only draw back it was difficult to find the meeting location. There needs to be a detail map showing the location. Tour guy and bus driver very friendly and informative, we were able to see much of the city, with a detailed tour of the monastery.

I spent 2 hours looking through a Park and a Shopping Mall for the office to exchange my voucher for a ticket. Mobile booking according to Viator.com would not work. I went to the bus pickup point early and talked to several others that were looking for the ticket office. When the tour bus came, the guide took the voucher as a ticket (like why was I walking for 2 hours, if the booking process had changed?) Next, I siged up for an English tour but the bus was both a Spanish and English tour. The guide spoke mostly Spanish - rhe bus had passed the place of interest so half the time the English Version was omitted. Hard to hear anything on the top of an open air bus - PA system sucked, no headphones!!! These events were strictly on the tour operator!!! They should be dropped. The rest of the afternoon was even worse but not on the tour company; we never got off the bus and the tour was cut short by protesters and the Police response. All the traffic was diverted from the scene and the traffic was totally jammed up so spent 3 hours on a bus with no points of interest and continuous horns blaring. THAT wasn’t the tour operator fault. What a miserable waste of time and money. Avoid this company like the plague

You could not hear the commentary over the traffic. The bus did not really get close to see much. The walking part was good and interesting

Caught bus on Mal. de Reserva next to Parque Salazar at 2:00 PM. No need to exchange one ticket for another. Give original printed ticket to guide on bus. Good tour past ruins to historic Plaza St. Martin, Plaza Mayor de Lima, and Cathedral. Attentive guide with narration in Spanish and English. Recommended!

This is a nice way to see some of the city highlights. It is not a hop on hop off tour. There is quite a bit of walking when the tour becomes a walking tour of the square and cathedral. The pick up location isn't clear. Meet outside of the Locomar Mall on the corner near the JW Marriott. Nice way to learn about the city. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and she made the experience very enjoyable.

Very nice tour, Edwin our guide, shared a lot of info. I would have preferred to spend more time on the bus, visiting the city, and less in the cathedral… Otherwise all good

It was well paced. The guide was knowledgeable. I had taken this tour 5 years wago but learned more this time. We had a liqueur tasting which was helpful in picking something to bring home.

Took this tour with my parents and we enjoyed every part. The walking tour to the Plaza de Armas/Cathedral was great. Loved the traditional music, history that our guide provided. It was a great overview of the city.

It is just okay, it just, the tours is too short, other than that it is good I will recommand this tours to my friend if they visiting Lima

A Group of tourists kept insisting on being late, from the onset of the trip and during. Regardless, the personnel (particularly the guide) handled the situation very professionally and endeavoured to keep the trip pleasurable and informative to all. Well done.

Fantastic guide and very interesting. Location on booking needed more information to find starting point. Is not really a get on-get off service! More a tour with one stop but excellent.

They sold the red bus in the photo and it’s the yellow bus “ Turibus “ they take us to The Cathedral in Lima Center and explain 1 hour every piece in the cathedral and way back total of 3 hours . Our tour guide was great explaining every point ! I am q tour guide myself….. I give a tip “ next time don’t stay in one place for 1 hour “ Please Viator change the photo of the bus color. Thanks

The tour provided a quick overview of some of the sites of Lima, including some time to walk around the cathedral, so the content was good. The bus engine is loud so it’s difficult to hear the narration of the guide, although she had excellent English and did a good job throughout the tour so this is not her fault. Something to note if you take this tour: there are many lovely trees throughout the city but because the bus is open sometimes the branches come whipping towards your face so be very alert or take an aisle seat instead.

I’m sure it would have been amazing. I take this type of tour every place I go - it’s a good way to get acclimated to the area; identify where you want to spend more time. Unfortunately I could not find the redemption office to turn my booking into a ticket. Additionally I never saw one bus in all my walking around. I did not have access to phone or internet to contact the office to get assistance in locating them. And store owners couldn’t tell me exactly where to go.

Never made the tour. Could not find a stop for pick up. Made many phone calls and no one seemed to know where I could get the bus.

The tour actually was very good however the instructions to get the tickets was a nightmare. I am a Peruvian native who speak fluently both languages and was told to print the vouchers, exchange them at an office in front of the Marriott hotel an larcomar shopping center. We showed up almost 1:30 minute’s early and the show began, nobody knew of the city sightseeing tours in lima(red bus)we asked at the mall, at the Marriott hotel, a tour office, other tour operators and we run around walking, taking taxis because people gave us bad and all kind of info.send us in a wild chase . Finally around 2:30 pm we asked a yellow bus operator if they could do the service and wanted to charge us 150 soles a piece. Luckily there was another gentleman looking for the same tour and he told us that he was emailed information that the tour operator had a different name, it happened to be the same company that wanted to change 150 soles again. But after finally enquiring with that new tour guide we were able to board the bus and to their benefit the tour was fantastic from that point on. The stress we had before boarding the bus I would not recommend to anyone, we run around for two hours without anybody knowing anything about such a tour company. On Viator page they listed a phone number but sounded busy for hours. My family had only one day in Lima and didn’t wanted to waste the only day they had.as a retiring airline captain that travel the world taking tours like this one, fluent in both languages had a hell of a time, I can’t imagine and average tourist doing what we did.

The bus never showed up at Larcomar, even though I was there 25 minutes beforehand, and they never even have the courtesy of letting anyone know it was cancelled. I definitely advise against this hideous and rude company, they ruined my last day in Lima.
