Pablo was a fantastic guide on a lovely day seeing around Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo and Playa Blanca. It was really good to get out of town and see some more of life in Mexico outside the most touristic spots. The coconut farm and the lunch at the beach were especially memorable. Would highly recommend.

This was our first visit to the area. This tour was a great way to discover the area. I would highly recommend if this is your first time visiting Ixtapa. We had Pablo as our guide, and he was great. He gave us a little extra time to do flea market, shopping. The tour of the coconut farm was interesting and seeing the bricks made by hand was eye opening. The lunch we had at Playa Blanca was delicious and the setting was beautiful.

I have visited the area for many years but learned about many interesting, previously unknown aspects of the region on this tour. Our guide Pablo was exceptional…he arrived promptly for the hotel pick up, his car was clean and comfortable and we were treated like visiting friends not just tourists. His knowledge of local history and traditions was outstanding. We enjoyed learning about the history of the Ixtapa hotel region. The stop made at the clay tile production site was particularly interesting…the family working there had a long history of hand crafting small production run roof tiles and bricks used locally. Lunch on the beach before coming home was a fine ending to a very good tour. I will certainly take another of Luis’ regional tours in the future.

Luis is gone of the best tour guides I've ever experienced!! Having grown up in Zihua he's extremely knowledgeable. He's also very warm, down to earth and completely fluent in English.

Francisco was knowledgable and friendly. We saw some great areas in Ixtapa and Zihua. Loved making brick roof tiles. Was good to see Ixtapa from the overlook where we could see the whole bay. Restaurant for lunch was excellent. From the tour I would come back and this time stay in Zihuatanejo next time because the area is so quaint and the hillside condos so amazing

Luis is incredible!!! He took care of everything! We didn’t have to worry about anything!! He was so knowledgeable!! We learned so much but at the same time such a relaxing tour!!!

This was a great tour for our first time to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo. Pablo explained everything about the people, the towns and the culture. It was great to see the landscape outside of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo. Plus we left our phone on the bus and I left a message on Tripadvisor. Within 1 hour I received a message back saying that Pablo left the phone at the hotel. I would highly recommend this company, this trip and especially Pablo.

This was our third visit to Ixtapa/Zihua but wanted to see more if the countryside. We were met at our hotel by Pablo Olivar, who spoke great English and very personable . We were the only couple so had a great personalized tour. While we had been to some of the city and resort locations on the tour, he provided details and info we were not aware of which made the outing most enjoyable. Stopped for fresh coconut and saw the manufacture of clay roof tiles as they have been made for centuries. Drove through coconut plantations and oceanside towns. Last stop was Barra de Potosi for a fabulous traditional lunch overlooking the ocean. Thank you Pablo

We happened upon Luis and are so glad we did! He was a wonderful and informative guide as well as a lot of fun. We got to see SO much more of the area than we had intended. He sold us on the beauty that is Zihuatenejo/Ixtapa. Looking forward to coming back for the airport sign greeting!

Our tour guide, Pablo, for the city and country tour of Ixtapa was very personable and knowledgeable. He picked us up promptly at our hotel lobby at designated time and ushered us into his company car since we were his only guests for this tour. He gave us an overview of what to expect, including all the highlights of Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo. We saw the city tourist and local areas as he narrated much information. But we also shared personal stories and laughter, as he answered all of our questions. I especially liked the countryside and the visits to families that hand make clay roof tiles and bricks, and another, the many uses of coconut . We had a most delicious lunch of fresh grilled fish and Mexican specialties. Thank you Pablo for a wonderful and enlightening excursion.

Great place to relax, wonderful food, great people, affordable. We stayed right on the beach as many hotels are. Picked LaRopa. Many beaches to spend time on.

Pablo was very knowledgeable and friendly. I learned a lot about the history of Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa and had a wonderful lunch in Playa Largo! I highly recommend!

If you’ve been to Zihua, you know there’s a standard for service, but let me say, our tour guide Francisco went blew that standard out of the clear blue waters . Not only was he personable, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about his love of the history of Zihua, his personal knowledge of the places and many of the families makes it seem like you’re there not as a tourist, but as a friend. Francisco drove us around the different areas, explaining everything along the way, he was a steady driver and I felt very safe sitting in the air conditioned car going from destination to destination. When you go to new places, it’s sometimes hard to find someone you trust, especially for a tour into the heart of some of the Mexican villages, i can say with certainty, Francisco is the right guy, if you can book him.

We had a fantastic few days on the countryside tour as well as food tour with Francisco (Paco). What a knowledgeable tour guide! Luis coordinated everything so well and it really made our first trip to Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo just perfect! We highly recommend Luis and Paco!

Luis was our guide for the day and he is the real deal! His local knowledge was on point and he is a true professional. We had the best day seeing all the important locations on where we wanted to return to and where to eat or watch sporting events. His warmth and love for his community is obvious and it is returned when you walk about with him in the streets. Thank you Luis for the most wonderful day!

We loved talking to Luis, who is from the area, and it is obvious that he knows and cares about the people in his community. His love of his surroundings is so clear when he speaks and one sees the respect that his fellow citizens have for him. His English is perfect which made it so wonderful to be able to understand everything he was sharing. The tour of the two cities and the surrounding area is worth every penny. You won’t be sorry and will feel like you’re reunited with an old friend.

Tour guide Paco (also known as Francisco) was terrific- very knowledgeable about the area, the history, and local flora/fauna. It was really interesting to go down some of the back roads in Zihua and see what was there that we wouldn't have ever seen ourselves (clay roof tiles made by hand, bountiful fruit trees, salt production by hand). We would happily tour with Paco again.
