We booked this tour for an Art Association activity and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were all over the City from The Ringling to Payne Park. Bob was excellent at sharing his knowledge and experience with the Ringling Circus. Gretchen was an excellent driver. It was a fun and knowledgeable experience.

Wonderful tour. Our guide Bob was phenomenal. From a very early age he dreamed of working for Ringling and for many years he did. Ringlings had so much influence on the Sarasota area and this tour really gave us a greater appreciation of their contributions. Loved the tour. Was sad when it was over.

Excellent tour! We have done many of the circus related attractions in Sarasota. We learned a lot about the history of the circus and its impact on the development of the city. Bob is quite knowledgeable and shared information in a most inviting way.

This is an amazing display to fully appreciate what bringing the circus meant to cities across America in the early 1900

Bill was very informative and entertaining. The program was run very well and very professional. We learned a lot, and we live in the Sarasota area. My only suggestion is that since the seats on the bus are very uncomfortable, a chance to get up and walk around for 5 minutes part way through would be really beneficial.

It was a good tour taking you throughout the areas that had circus history I mostly liked the information Bob gave us on the Ringling family and their contributions that started the interest in Sarasota

Hello Trippers, So much history of the Ringling Circus! Don't miss the private Art that John Ringling acquired in the separate art museum. The Ca' d'Zan mansion was so beautiful and opulent. We only did the first floor of the Ca' d'Zan mansion due to the steps required (80) to see the other floors, but it was on par with the Biltmore Estate in Asheville. The Howard Circus, a miniature circus in the museum is incredible and very very intricate and brought back so many childhood memories. Do not miss this attraction. Enjoy, Deb

We had a fun afternoon touring and hearing about circus history and its effect on the Sarasota area. The staff and Bob, our tour guide, were all so welcoming, knowledgable, and fun. It felt like we were their first tour ever, and not 'just another' tour. They connected with each of us individually and hosted a wonderful afternoon.

We're from out of state but are familiar with Sarasota and its circus relationship. Did not know most of what the tour guide passed along to us. Very professional from ordering the online tickets thru the actual tour.

We enjoyed this tour last weekend, as the trolley driver drove all around the circus area of Sarasota, and the tour guide, Bob was involved with the circus during his earlier years. Boy, if not for John and Mabel Ringling...Sarasota wouldn't be what it is today with schools and museums and parks, and the Arts, etc. What incredible history.

Really lovely business run by really lovely folks. Of course we learned a ton about the history and cultural importance of the circus to the establishment and business success in Sarasota. However, the laid back, positive, and welcoming tone that was set by the your staff was superb and delightful. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon. Totally worth it! We learned so much about the circus AND Sarasota on this tour. Our tour guide Bob Collins was beyond amazing!!!! He grew up with the circus and shared so many fascinating stories. I would highly recommend to all. We can't wait to get back and do our fourth discover sarasota tour. All so far were excellent!!!

We really enjoyed our Circus Tour of Sarasota! Our tour guide had worked with the Ringling Circus and had a great knowledge to share with us. We learned so much about the people involved with the circus and how instrumental they were in the development of the town. Interestingly, many of those families still live and work there today!. Still a circus town! Great trip!

I've lived in Sarasota and worked in circuses for more than 25 years and still learned a lot on this tour! My friends from out of town were fascinated by our guide, Bob's knowledge of the industry, history and culture. We'll be back whenever anyone visits us.

Bob shared a great amount of knowledge in a very personal and professional manner. Getting off and visiting some of the sites would have made it even better.
