Our tour guides were awesome. The way they were able to keep everyone accounted for during multiple train rides was astounding. The individual towns of cinque Terre were beautiful, however, trying to see them all in one day with train rides and hiking didn’t leave much time to relax. We were always rushing from one point to another. Also it should be mentioned that the hiking is pretty intense. Maybe I am just out of shape, but there were way more stairs than I was anticipating. If you regularly bike or run, it should be no problem. I was also a bit disappointed that we didn’t get to do the boat ride at the end of this tour. We were told the waters were too choppy, although the weather seemed really nice.

It was easy to find out charismatic, energetic, lovely guide, Valentina, at the Florence train station where we walked to the bus. We took a bus to another train station where we took the train to the first town. We had very little time to walk around. Then, we took another train to the second town, Cornelia, where we had a tasty sit-down lunch and about 20 minutes to walk around. We skipped the hike to Venezia and took the train instead so we'd be less rushed there (you get to decide), and that was the only town where we had enough time to see the sites, have a snack, take pictures, and go into the stores. Then we took a train to the next town, where we had about 30 minutes, then took a boat (which was a beautiful ride) to the final town where we had about 20 minutes. (We were so hurried, I can't remember the names of anywhere we were besides Venezia, but everywhere was pretty and had lots of cute shops and nice views. We could have spent a day at the last two towns). The whole day I had anxiety about making it to each meeting point on time, and we left extra time so we wouldn't miss the train and the meeting point, and even if we hadn't allowed ourselves that wiggle room, we did not have anywhere close to enough time anywhere except Venezia. I had to make decisions in each town such as whether to try the crab fritters or go to the bathroom-- no time for both-- or whether to get a limoncello spritz with a view or wait on line for the famous fried bread. At some 20-minute stops, I spent ten minutes waiting on line for a bathroom and getting to the meeting point and had ten minutes to see the town. The towns are beautiful, and our guide was great. I would have had much more fun if the tour had skipped the first two towns, which were smaller, and given the time in the last three towns and we had grabbed quick street food on our own rather than the sit-down lunch. We spent way more time in transit (not counting the boat ride, which was a fun part of the experience) than we spent seeing anything. If you go to the bathroom a lot, this is not a tour for you. If you have limited time, you will see all five towns of Cinque Terre in one day on this tour and get some nice photos.

Our guides, Valentina and Claudia were excellent! There was so much to see that we were on the go all day. That may be my only complaint is that we weren’t able to spend enough time in any of the villages. However, we did get to see everything and do the hike!

The weather looked grim the day before and was going to cancel but so glad I didn’t! Emma was so informative and gave easy to follow instructions on the tour! She was fun and bubbly and the experience was a good one! I’m so glad I did the hike! When I got home , I was wiped! But so worth it!

Genie and Gabrielle were our tour guides and they were amazing. We mostly had Genie and she was so great at directing us where to go and what to see and to find the best photos! We were very impressed how organized they were with all the crowds around us as it was very busy there. We weren’t sure about doing the hike since we’re not the most active people but it was a must! By far the best experience thank you!

We had an amazing time during this trip. Our tour guides Jeanie and Gabriel and bus driver Lapo were great! Cinque Terre is a beautiful place to visit. We highly recommend this tour.

This was a very long day but worth all of the miles I put on my feet! Even if you don’t take the optional hike, there is a lot of walking involved. This is not for people who have problems with their feet or ankles. But the views are amazing and even the train rides between the fishing villages was fun to do. Valentina was not only knowledgeable about the area but very patient and never left people behind. She did an amazing job and I would suggest that if you can take this tour then make sure you take it!

Emma was a gem. Each of the locations are really not that large so this was a great way of seeing everything. Wear comfortable shoes. The hike is definitely not a walk but an actual hike.

I thought about traveling to Cinque Terre on my own, but I'm happy I chose otherwise because the tour was amazing! Our tour guide, Chris, was very helpful. He kept us informed on expectations, safety, and how to have the best experiences. Also, we were able to explore on our own after checking in with our tour guide first.

Great way to see the 5 villages. Our guide Victoria did a great job getting us from town to town and giving tips on what to do and see in the towns. The hike was amazing and the views were stunning. Do the hike if you can!

Our guides were fantastic! But the trip was too hectic. There wasn't enough time to really enjoy any of the small towns especially with the crowd! We would have preferred a more leisurely tour with stops in maybe three of the towns. And bathrooms were scarce and overcrowded. By the time you were done using the toilets it was time to meet up with our guide again.

Odo provided an exceptional tour experience, and I highly recommend his services for future excursions. His extensive knowledge of the region allowed us to efficiently visit all five towns in a single day. Additionally, he expertly highlighted the culinary delights unique to the Cinque Terre region.

We had terrible weather, but Noemi and Chris were excellent guides on our trip. The meal that was offered through the tour was okay, the service at the restaurant was not very friendly and the meal was good, it was just cold.

Our day trip to cinque terre was with the walkabout tour guides ,Victoria and Jon Carlos, was amazing! It was so breathtaking to see all of the 5 cities, and our guides did a wonderful job! We were very pleased with everything. The knowledge they provided with the tour was so interesting and good to know! The organization of it all was great and I was so glad we had Victoria and Jon Carlos for our guides! The guides on trips really do make a tremendous difference. We did 6 different tours while in Italy, and four of them were booked with the GetYourGuide , walkabout tours. We went to Rome, Venice, Florence, Cinque Terre, and Tuscany, in 8 days, and covered as many sites as possible, but the tour guides were tremendously informational! Thank you Victoria and Jon Carlos for a wonderful experience!!! Definitly 5 Stars rating!

Lots of walking but it was worth it. Sights were great. A bunch of shops to buy things and eat. Did so much in one day. Noemi, Chris and Aldo were great guides and very accommodating. Made the entire tour great.

Our leader, Ado, was so knowledgeable, friendly, upbeat, personable and accommodating. We did the five-town tour plus hike. You really don't need a lot of time in each town, as they're so small. The hike was hard in terms of stairs, uneven ground and elevation: comfortable shoes, adequate mobility and fitness level are very important. The views are spectacular, even though we had rain on and off throughout the day. Don't let less than perfect weather stop you. I also liked that Ado recommended food specific in each town to try: this was a highlight. Also, don't forget to try the white wine specific to Cinque Terre!
