Saw this chocolate tour online when I was planning a weekend adventure in Bend and it ended up being the best part of the weekend! The owners of the chocolate company are super knowledgeable and personable, and the tour was great. Would recommend to anyone considering this, especially if you are interested in the chocolate making process!

How wonderful! Laid back fun and informative with history and details on how to make chocolate from start to finish - tasting was the best! The homemade hot chocolate was best I ever had.

This was a wonderful experience of learning more about chocolate 🍫 and to make our own bar. The owner's were awesome in sharing their knowledge of making their chocolate bars that would give Willie Wonka a run for his money. Great experience 👍

We got the tour from the two owners of the business. You could tell how excited they were to share their knowledge of the process. We really learned a lot.

My husband and I visit Bend every fall. This year, we were looking for a unique experience. We found it! Amanda and R.C. are friendly, kind and knowledgeable. The tour explained their process of chocolate-making as well as their mission working with farmers in the countries where they source their beans. I found it fascinating how different each chocolate tasted, depending on where the beans originated. Scott, from Adventure Tours Bend, brought in wine to pair with the chocolate. I went into this tour looking to try something new. When we left, loaded up with chocolate, I realized that I felt like we had made three new friends. Thank you all for the experience. We will be back.

The time spent explaining the process and the story behind creating delicious sweetness. My 9 year year old loved the experience and as adults we loved thr story and process.

Scott and Amanda were fantastic. The tour was informative and thorough. Samples were from different countries and tasty. Catered to the individual rather than a corporate feel. Would recommend.

They were very knowledgeable about the history of chocolate and how to get pure dark chocolate. I wasn't aware this was all dark chocolate which isn't my favorite. The wine was great but my husband never got his hot chocolate. And while technically we made our own chocolate bars, all we did was pour the chocolate into the mold. I thought we would do some more of the process like grinding by hand the bean. We had a great time though since Amanda and RC were great people and we really enjoyed talking with them.

The experience was super fun for all of us (me, wife, kids 13 and 11). Scott (our contact at Adv. Tours) was genuine, friendly and accommodating from start to finish, and our hosts at Seahorse chocolates were too. The experience was well planned to demonstrate their passion for their work and knowledge, which made for a lot of fun experiential learning and absolutely divine chocolate. We had so much fun hanging out and learning about chocolate! My family is on a 2 week road trip and stopped in Bend for a few days. Decided to take this tour and we are all really glad we did! Very laid back, friendly, informative and delicious! We have a 5 year old and a 13 year old, both found it to be fun! They gave us recs for dinner and shopping and we left with 16 chocolate bars 😅. Definitely recommend!

Interesting to taste the different chocolate and learn that a high percentage of cacao doesn't equal bitterness! Good wine pairing, and fun to make our own bars. Amanda was lovely

The owners of Seahorse Chocolates were knowledgeable, passionate and welcoming. During this in-house tour we tasted a variety of delicious samples, drank red wine, chatted with the owners and learned MUCH about the chocolate-making process. We even made our own chocolate bars to take home. Super fun. Super educational.

Friendly, and informational, the chocolate was delicious. The location is a little hidden. Not sure if I would describe it as a tour, not much to see. More like a chocolate tasting.

Fun, relaxing way to spend an afternoon in Bend being educated on chocolate and having the opportunity to taste and then make our own chocolate bars to take home. My daughter and I enjoyed our afternoon out learning all about making some delicious, high quality dark chocolate. It was fun watching the process from start to finish and trying all the different samples! Scott was a great guide, he even paired some nice wine with our chocolate to enjoy.

Honestly one of the best tours we’ve ever taken. The owners are so genuine and knowledgeable on the intricacies of chocolate making. The conversation and overall experience felt so intimate and individualized. Not to mention the delicious chocolate!! Would definitely visit again and am recommending this tour to everyone we know!

What a cool tour! We all learned a bit about the chocolate making process and then got to make our own bars and take them home with us. My wife and I enjoyed some red wine with a bunch of samples, and the kids loved the hot chocolate option. Would definitely recommend!
