Highly recommend this tour. Our guide Andres was knowledgeable and attentive to detail. The chocolate farm was very interesting and Andres explained the whole process. The host family at the farm were warm and welcoming. This is a very nice day trip from Medellin. All the logistics were very smooth.

We had an amazing day with Andres! From the private hotel pickup to the very personalized touches added into this tour it is a highly recommended option to learn about Cocao! The farm and family running it are on a beautiful property with stunning views of the surrounding area. We learned so much about the process and history of Cocao as well. We even took home chocolate and all of our friends loved it!

This was a wonderful and welcoming tour that appealed to multiple generations. Andres explained the history and background of the chocolate making process and it was so fun to take part and actually make our own chocolate. From picking cocoa beans to roasting and grinding them. It is a beautiful farm with a peaceful environment.

The host family on the farm were so accomodating and coming into their home and learning about their trade was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I will never forget. This was the most amazing experience. This small family farm was beautiful - perched up in the mountains. The family was so welcoming of us in their home. We went through the whole chocolate process, with plenty of tasting along the way. Sarah our guide was outstanding. Thanks for a great afternoon.

This experience was truly amazing. Andres our tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and fun. The family farm was really great and the whole family (from grandparents to the kids) enjoyed it. Sandra and her family were so friendly and really make you feel like you are part of the family; her father chopped down a walking stick to help my father when he saw he was struggling a little bit. Their attention to details and kindness is something I hope as many people can enjoy. Our group of six ranged from ages 8 to 64 and everyone had fun. HIGHLY recommend to anyone in the area.

We went on the Chocolate tour near Medellin with Sara as guide. Her communication was excellent and she picked us up on time. She explained everything about Medellin and about cacao farming as we drove to the farm. On the farm she went with us and the farmer and translated and explained the whole process of chocolate-making. We enjoyed the tour very much and Sara is an excellent guide who speaks very good English.

The tour was amazing! Laura, our tour guide, took good care of as even before the tour started and gave many helpful tips. We learned a lot about Medellin on the road and when we arrived at the cacao farm, the owners were super helpful and we even picked our own cacao fruits. We learned all about the process and got back to the hotel with our self made chocolate bars! A lifetime experience.

He picked us up from the hotel and on the way to the farm, explained the history of Medellin very methodically. The story Medellin's transformation from its tough past to a vibrant and welcoming city os really beautiful. As soon as we entered the farm, it was evident that Alejandro enjoys a special bond with the hosts. Its very heartening to watch the interaction. The Chocolate farm is absolutely divine. It sits on top of a very peaceful hill, the view is breath taking! We picked different types of Cacao fruits, tasted them and got to experience of making chocolate! The host family is so warm and welcoming. We were very happy to interact with the host family and to me thats the best part about travel, connecting with local people. Medellin tours does a good job of providing this authentic experience. We also got to see so many unique birds on the property. Will hold this special trip close to heart forever.

We absolutely loved the chocolate tour with Alejandro! It was my parents' first experience in Colombia and it was absolutely perfect to introduce them to Colombian culture and have a fun day. We went to the chocolate farm and got to harvest our own cacao pods. Then we saw the entire chocolate process and made our own chocolate bars to take home! We also loved the hot chocolate with Colombian bread for lunch. The family was very welcoming and sweet, and the chocolate was delicious! Alejandro our guide was friendly and full of great information. We loved every minute!
