Wonderful place..the food, the golf course not to mention the so accommodating tour guides. Had a lovely stay. Will definitely come back this Easter

We enjoyed tasting different types of chocolate and making our own chocolate 🍫 bar. Our walking tour was good as well. We liked learning the history of Lucerne our tour guide Luis did an excellent job explaining and giving details and made conversation easy. Thank you Luis for a very nice tour!!

Got a private tourguide who took the two of us to a chocolate Factory established since 1946 for a private tour, chocolate tasting and made our very own chocolate bars. We had a lot of fun! Then we went on a small group of 5 walking tour of Luzern. Our guide, Luis Medina, really shined during the walking tour. He had tremendous experience and knowledge in the area. As he explains, he showed us pictures as well. He was almost nonstop telling us fascinating stories of Luzern and the country. We can tell Luis is very passionate about his job and we were very impressed with him and wished the tour would continue even though we walked for 2 or was it 3 hours. I highly recommend the tour and if you can get Luis as a guide, you will be very happy!

Luis was a great tour guide who is very knowledgable about the history of the region. He is great with communication, friendly, and has a sense of humor. It was a semi private tour. Started early morning with just me and my Mom met outside the Lucerne train station and took the train with him to a small village where the Aeschbach chocolate factory was. We made a custom chocolate bar with toppings. We entered a room that reminded me of Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory. We had a variety of chocolate tastings and saw the production line through a window. Then we went to the gift shop. Second thing on the agenda was the walking tour. We picked up 3 people waiting back at Lucerne train station. We learned about the history of Lucerne, walked up a hill then back down, took a trolly lift up to the castle hotel and took pictures of the view of Lucerne from atop the hill. The last thing was a boat ride on Lake Lucerne just me and Mom without the tour guide. Views were amazing!

Thank you Luis!!! Great communications for time and place. This a great way to see and hear some of the history of Lucern. An amazing city with an amazing talented guide. Not the ' follow the person with the stick' tour. Personal, great pace, see the city from the a side you wouldn't know as a tourist. I will not see American chocolate the same again! I recommend this experience!!! Tourist me saw the price, after tour me: worth every penny!!

Luis was an amazing guide and we enjoyed the day! He was able to keep our 6 year olds attention and made it fun for the whole family! The chocolate was delicious and the views from the boat ride are breathtaking! Highly recommend this tour to see Lucerne in a day! Thanks Luis!

The tour with Luis was more then well worth it, he made our experience more then we could of imagined with all the details and effort he puts in, from the time he meets you, gives you the best site seeing spots with the history behind it and goes out of his way to take pictures and videos for us! As we said our goodbyes with him dropping us off at the boat tour, he texted us afterwards with taking a video of us returning on the boat. I can’t thank him enough for all the effort and kindness he gave us and made it so much fun! Memories we will take with us and never forget. Highly recommend this tour and make sure you get Luis!

Luis was amazing. We navigated with ease to and from our destinations. We have 2 kids and all the stress was taken out of the trip, therefore making it a far more enjoyable day for our whole family.

Luis met us at the famous Lucerne train station and took us by train over to the chocolate factory for a wonderful tour and tasting. We received an education on how the chocolate is made and what makes Swiss chocolate so delicious! We also got to sample many different varieties and finish with a tour of the cafe' style store. Next, we toured the city of Lucerne with Luis showing us the major attractions like the Chapel Bridge and the Lion Statue. He also showed us things that the common tourist may not see, like the city wall (which yielded an amazing view of the city!). I would definitely recommend this tour and Luis! We had a great time and will return one day! -Niaz.

The tour the chocolate factory was tasty and fun. I especially liked making my chocolate bar to take home! The walking tour & boat tour were interesting, informative, and a great introduction to the city. Luis was a fabulous guy -I would definitely recommend him.

The chocolate tasting and making part of this tour is a fabulous experience. The chocolate company was fabulous. We tasted many and then made our own. We loved it. The walking tour was interesting and valuable. The boat tour was fine. It’s expensive but we would do it again.

We did a chocolate tasting tour and our guide was great! The chocolate, sight seeing, and information were all excellent! 5 Stars!
