The five of us made three bars of chocolate each with a variety of toppings under supervision. We all had a great time and most importantly the chocolate was tasty.

Great fun and a good hands on experience. Got to select the products and flavours when making your own chocolate. The chap giving us the instructions and guiding us was brilliant very knowledgable and friendly. Good time for the whole family.

The kids loved making their own chocolate, all in 12 big bars of chocolate for the x4 of us (80 euro) but worth the experience. walking through the small door at the end singing the 'Oompa Loompa Song'

Absolutely loved our experience at Mayan Monkey Mijas! We took the Masterclass with Sam, who was simply fabulous! We had such a great time making chocolate and we learned so much! Everyone was so kind and accommodating, especially as we had some trouble with our transportation and ended up arriving a few minutes late. The chocolate is phenomenal! The whole thing was worth every penny! <3

We loved our visit to the chocolate factory and learning how to make delicious treats. Sara was a great teacher. Save room for some of the cafe’s delicious ice cream before you leave.

Easy to book online and queries responded to quickly. We did the express chocolate bar workshop. Great tutor, explained chocolate making process and given unlimited choice of toppings and flavourings for our bars ( you make 3).We (two of us) were the only people on the session and we were not hurried along at all, able to ask questions and afterwards there is a small museum area to explore. The chocolate you have made is ready for collection an hour later so you can go away and return later or, as we did sit in their outside cafe on the main square and watch the world go by whilst sampling their delicious hot chocolate or home made ice cream in many flavours. In fact we returned to the cafe later in the week. There is also an extensive chocolate shop with many unusual chocolate bars and boxes available. If you have attended a workshop you get a discount voucher for use in the shop. All in all this was a great experience at a very reasonable price and will definitely be returning when next in Mijas, hopefully next year.

This was our favorite activity in Spain! Our group of 3 teens, parents and a grandma all throughly loved this experience. The staff were kind and accommodating. They made chocolate making engaging and fun. We celebrated our daughters birthday there and my daughter decorated her own cake. She loved it! The village is so charming- we spent the day there after our class. Wonderful overall

3 members of our family participated in the express chocolate making activity. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience and made some delicious bars of chocolate. It was very well run and although popular, we didn't have to wait long for our turn.

Absolutely fantastic experience, wasn’t sure about this but learnt loads, got lots of chocolate making in and will be taking the skills forward to our prep for halloween. Staff very knowledgable, friendly and made the experience so much better. Thank you Dave and Karen

We visited the chocolate factory recently to try one of their chocolate making experiences. We did the 15 minute express package which meant each member of our party flavoured and decorated three 100g bars of chocolate. You can choose from dark, milk, or white chocolate for each bar. After you’ve decorated your chocolate you need to leave your bars with them for 30+ mins to harden so we had a walk round Mijas to explore a little. There was a wider range of flavours to choose from. Staff were friendly and spoken English well. If it would have been even better, we were not offered a look round the museum, which we would have liked to investigate a little. It would also be good to offer an option for perhaps having less chocolate. We partially chose our package as we came away with 15 bars of 100g chocolate, had we chosen a longer package we would have ended up with even more!! Chocolate tastes fantastic and we’ve enjoyed eating some with a glass of wine!

What a unique way to enjoy the village of Mejas.... after touring the city we enjoyed making our own chocolates. They kept our candy until we were ready to make our way back our ship, which enabled us to have lunch, and do some shopping. The ice cream they sell at the store is a special treat as well.

Great place Went back especially to have some of the mint choc chip ice cream which I think is pretty amazing. Also did the short chocolate making workshop (15 mins) but takes a while longer as it needs time to set. Set in the corner of the Mijas plaza virgin de la peña it’s a must even if you get the kids in the group to make the chocs while you enjoy a cooling drink ice cream desserts

We went for the 30 minute Bonbons & Bars Workshop...and it was great fun. The most fun was decorating/flavouring the bars and choosing from over 50 ingredients to do so - not an easy task! Shortly after the workshop (and just enough time to enjoy a coffee and an ice cream from their cafe), your chocolate creations are ready for you to take home. I can confirm that they are tasty - well at least the ones we created were. I would suggest booking in advance to ensure availability. The staff and teachers are a friendly bunch and made our experience one to remember.

We had a wonderful time at this chocolate making experience. We were a mixed group of 10 children and adults. They looked after us brilliantly from the time of booking right through the entire experience. Lots of interaction, really interesting and most of all great fun for the whole family. Highly recommended!
