We walked to the Navy peer which was easy to find. Boarding was straight forward and you get your photo taken before getting on the boat. These if you wish can be purchased at $20 when you get off. There are plenty of seat, toilets and a bar. After a quick safety brief, off we went. Ben was our tour guide and extremely knowledgeable with a few jokes thrown in for fun. The tour does take 75 min and you get to go up and down the Y shape river which is good because you get to see the buildings/sky scrapers from different views. Over all, a very informative and relaxing tour of Chicago which I would highly recommend

You have to do this tour when in Chicago. There are at least 2 companies offering these tours. We chose Sightseeing Tours because it was convenient. The guide was awesome and very knowledgeable. I advise you to go around 4pm because you will be able to see Chicago by light, by sunset and early evening. The architecture looks different under daylight or in the sunset. The combination of old buildings (the Chicago Tribune) and new ones is kinda magic. The new buildings have each special features attesting to the creativity of the architect. The boat has a full bar and sells snacks. If you go in Fall and Winter, bundle up. It gets chilly on the tour.

Kevin was a highly knowledgeable incredible tour guide. We learned a ton about Chicago In addition to the architecture. The boat ride was super cold in the middle of winter but as long as you’re dressed properly, it’s OK. Amazing way to see the city, I highly recommend it

I did enjoy the history Jack explained about the buying and it's structure. The oy bad experience I had on board was the bartender he was rude and is in need of customer service training and peopl skills not everyone is familiar with all liquors and I just asked what and how is Baileys he also could of offered a drop as sample instead just repeated its Baileys. That ruined the nice vibe I had going
