Absolutely a 5-star tour and one of the highlights of our trip in Italy! We did the Chianti & Super Tuscan 3 winery tour with Andrea on April 18th and it just truly just phenomenal. We loved the small group nature of the tour, as it was just my husband, myself, and one other guest. The three wineries we went to were all very different, but amazing in its own. The second winery we visited, Tenuta Montiani, was absolutely our favorite spot on our the tour and one of the most interesting wineries we have ever been too (and we've gone to alot). Mischa was an incredible host, who was serving up some of the best dishes, and just clean and simple food and wine. Overall, I could not have asked for a better tour and better experience. I would absolutely recommend this tour if you are looking for a knowledgeable guide who genuinely cares about the wine and region, and ensuring that we were learning along the way. If you're looking for a big group tour just to get wasted, this isn't it. This is for those that want to appreciate the wine and experience. Absolutely a 10/10 experience with Andrea

Went on this tour and it definitely exceeded our expectations! Matteo was an amazing tour guide, super informative and fun to chat with. He took a lot of time explaining the different wines and flavor profiles at each winery. Each winery we went to was beautiful, well run, and had delicious food pairings for the many different wine selections we sampled. Would highly recommend doing this if you are in Florence

Truly a wonderful experience and well worth the extra expense. This wine tour is special for several reasons: smaller group means more time getting to understand the knowledge and the history behind the wines; the day and expectations are tailored to the group or individually; the produce you are treated to are literally harvested moments before you eat and; you get to actually meet and spend time with the producers. The guide (massive Thank you to Andrea) who was amazing was very attentive and I thoroughly enjoyed the day due to his company. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone interested in a unique experience!!

The tour was fantastic! The wine was amazing, the wineries were wonderful and our guide Matteo was tremendous! His knowledge was vast and he was warm, friendly and very engaging with us about things involving the wine and our personal lives as well. Truly a wonderful day and experience!

This wine tour was excellent. By far the highlight of our trip to Italy. Each winery was unique and beautiful. We had a delicious lunch at the second winery which was so stunning and peaceful we want to move there. Our tour guide was superb and we learned all about the different wine making processes. Highly recommend.

During our Holidays in Florence on January, 2023 we went on another Tuscan wine tour with Italy and Wine. This time to sample Chianti Classico. Our guide was Matteo, who is a sommelier. He taught us about the process of making Chianti Classico, the type of grapes used for a wine to receive the Chianti Classico denomination by the Italian Government, and served as our translator in the three Chianti Classico wineries visited. We got a great insight on Tuscan wine and food culture, and even had a typical Tuscan lunch at the second winery properly pared with their own Chianti Classico wines. Italy and Wine has been our number 1 company to experience the wine and food culture of Tuscany and highly recommend it when staying in Florence. We will continue taking tours with them everyone we visit Florence, Italy. Grazie mille a tutti voi.

Everything about this day was perfect! We were in Italy for 10 days and this was everybody’s favorite day of the entire trip by far. Matteo is extremely kind, fun, and knowledgeable about the Chianti Classico region. He is well connected with many different wine makers in the region and it is clear he has a passion for what he does! Matteo brought us to three vineyards in total and each one was incredible. He made the entire experience fun. We could not recommend this experience enough!!!

We had the absolute best day visiting small vineyards that we never would have found without our guide, Matteo. We never felt rushed and he was a safe driver on some crazy hills. He was so much more than a tour guide though. He was knowledgeable about wine and Tuscany and current events, and a great conversationalist. Matteo is not only a wonderful ambassador to Tuscan wines, but also to the people of Tuscany. The hospitality of all three wineries could not have been warmer. We spent more than we thought that we would because all of the wineries will ship to us. Beautiful day.

The selection of the places we went to were wonderful. Our tour guide, Hillary just added to our amazing experience. She was a wealth of knowledge for wine, history, the Chianti region and even for the rest of our trip throughout Italy! Not to mention her wonderful energy and smile throughout the day - it simply added to the experience. Everyone- from the five month old to the 82 year old in our group had a fantastic time! The food was local and delicious, and we learned so much about winemaking and agriculture from Matteo. A peak experience from our two week trip!

Matteo was FANTASTIC and this tour was so much fun! We took a private group for a wedding party and had a blast. Great variety of wineries and wine!

We loved each of the 3 very different wineries and came away having tasted great wine and olive oil.

So much to write! Our guide PierPaolo Chelo was OUTSTANDING! The entire ride there he explained a lot about wine and olive oil and the Tuscan region. He answered questions like a pro. Not only did he drive us there but he participated in one of the two tastings we did. He was a wealth of information. If you are new to this type of tour or know a little bit already-I highly recommend this tour!

Had a WONDERFUL private day-long wine tour with Matt/ Mateo in the Chianti region of Florence! He was a FANTASTIC guide!!!! Not only was he incredible knowledgeable about wine as a sommelier but he was also friendly, fun, warm and so easy to learn from. The trip was truly a highlight of our two week trip to Italy!!! Matt took INCREDIBLE photos for us as well and did an EXCEPTIONAL job!

This was the best part of our trip! The Chianti Classico wineries were fantastic. We enjoyed many types of wines from the region including of course the Chianti Classico and Super Tuscans. Our guide, Mateo, was great and very knowledgeable!

I was incredibly disappointed with this experience. I did this tour in my previous travels in 2019 and it was so great I wanted to do it again with my husband when I came back. Big mistake...It was completely different this time, in a bad way, and double the cost. It became a transaction vs and experience. My biggest complaint was the guide. In reality she was a driver, not a guide. There was ZERO interaction with the guests. She told us absolutely nothing about the region or the wineries we were visiting for the day, she didnt even ask for each person's name. In fact I don't even know her name for that reason. She was in and out continuously at each winery taking personal phone calls as well as talking on the phone while driving us. Had her air pods in the entire time since she was not conversating with us. We had to turn around the vehicle a few times as she didn't seem to know where she was going. I could go on but I won't. My other major complaint was the lunch. It was pretty awful. It was a bowl of the simplest, very dry, over salted pasta. The worst I've had in Italy. And then anti-pasta was framed as the main course. It was a charcuterie of meats and cheeses. If you have spent any time in Italy you know that is not a main course. Again I have done this tour before and the last time we ate in a wine makers home, a 5 course home cooked meal that you can tell he put a lot of love into. It was absolutely incredible. We'll, don't get your hopes up newcomers. Lastly the wine tastings we're fairly minimal, small pours and getting try less varieties. As a group we ordered and drank several bottles at the wineries because we wanted more wine. All that said I still managed to have a good day because of two factors. The first being, two of the wineries we visited made some outstanding wine and the hosts were welcoming and knowledgeable to tell us about their wine and the region in general. They walked us through the tasting and answered all our questions. The second highlight was the other guests on the tour. We all became friends entertained each other since we had no attention from the guide and had a great time drinking wine and getting to know each other.

The Chiati Classico all-day tourwas everything we hoped for in a Tuscany wine tour. Matteo was extremely knowledeable and engaging and is a very talnented tour guide. We felt the experience was equally educationl and fun which is difficult to accomplish. Great job, Matteo! Highly reccomended!

Filippo took us around to stunning wineries of the Chianti region. Everything was spectacular, from the flavor of their wines, the views, the food, and we loved that they were all wineries that believe in natural approaches (they don't use pesticides or chemical preservatives). Filippo himself was an excellent and friendly guide that knew loads of information about the history, the wines in the region (and other regions), and he made us feel quite relaxed and was easy to talk to. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone visiting the area!
