Absolutely brilliant, we had a wonderful day and would highly recommend. Amma was amazing and such a delightful teacher.

Overall, it was a great experience! Anna and Julia were very personable and knowledgeable. The class was conducted in a friendly manner...anyone can cook! The view was also amazing!!! I highly recommend this activity.

My husband and I had a fantastic time at the Chez Barone cooking class! Private transfer was smooth and definitely a plus! We only had one other couple in our class with us so we got some extra hands on time. The chef was super nice and made our class fun! We mad 2 types of pasta, pizza, and tiramisu. Everything was AMAZING! Not to mention the beautiful location and view. Truly a special place - take my advice and do this class!!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Sorrento. My husband and I were picked up at the train station, lovely ride up the hills of Sorrento. The spot is fantastic, 300 year old palazzo, restored with beautiful attention to every detail. Walk past the stunning pool to the outdoor cooking school! The views, the set up all exceeded our expectations. It was fun and relaxing. Chefs Anna and Uliana were warm, informative and fun. Anna is a wonderful chef with so much knowledge she shares freely. The view of the Gulf of Naples with Vesuvius in the background was a serene setting. It’s a calming, fun break from the crowds. The food was delicious. Highly recommend Chez Barone.

Highly recommend this cooking class! My husband and 2 other couples we traveled with did this cooking class and it was easily the most amazing experience for all of us out of our entire trip! The chefs were so welcoming and great teachers. The property was breathtaking with amazing views and the entire experience was so peaceful and fun! The food was SO delicious with all fresh ingredients from their garden/property and local sellers!

This was absolutely fantastic fun experience! Very hands on making pizza and pasta and tiramisu all while drinking wine and lemon cello! It’s set in a beautiful villa with gorgeous views! Our chef was Anna and she was wonderful. Teaching us how to do it correctly Then at the end of the class, we met the owner , Fabio Who is such a Hoot This is a must do experience, you’ll be happy you did !

What a great experience. The view was incredible, the outdoor kitchen was stunning and the food was delicious! Anna and Claudia were very welcoming and helpful.

Arriving at Chez Barone Cooking School was so exciting. A beautiful site with spectacular views greeted us. Everything started with a glass of exceptional Prosecco and introductions to the two chefs that guided our experience. Our chefs were so talented and friendly they made the entire experience a culinary dream. We made the most delicious pizzas, tagliatelle pasta with Bolognese sauce, incredible gnocchi, and to top it all off, we made our own tiramisu. Last of all was delicious, homemade Limoncello. We were so sad to leave our new friends but left with all the recipes and the best of memories.

Amazing experience from start to finish! Pickup & drop off a breeze. We were greeted upon arrival by the homeowner and given a small tour which was really unexpected! The grounds were absolutely stunning and peaceful and such a great place to cook outdoors. We were thrilled with everything we learned and happy to be provided with the recipes to take home. The ladies that were in charge were very kind and have excellent skills in the kitchen. You can really tell they enjoy their job, and everyone on the premises enjoys the lovely food being prepared. This is a MUST-DO while visiting the Amalfi coast and well worth every penny!

An exceptional cooking lesson experience! Yes we cooked, yes we learned how to make pasta, pizza, tiramisu, limoncello, but more than that we were hosted by fabulous teachers in Anna & Julia, hosted in the beautiful garden kitchen with views across the bay, that garden kitchen being in the fabulous grounds of the Relais Palazzo de Barone, still owned and managed by the family who are around and about and proud to share the heritage of this gorgeous spot up the the hills behind Sorrento, and also we were picked up from the station. We made amazing new friends, and, as well as enjoying the lunch that we cooked, we laughed and laughed. The whole experience massively exceeded expectations. Just book it. It will be a highlight of any Sorrento trip.

The view was amazing! We took so many photos. Also an amazing way to learn about pasta and pizza. Amazing experience with my 9 yrs and 13 yr old girls. They loved every bit of it. They learnt how to make and enjoyed eating it with an amazing sunset view. Learning how to make dessert was a bonus where I never liked tiramisu to stated enjoyed having it. One must experience it for sure.

Wow, wow, wow, what a perfect day. I have done a few cookery classes before but this one was the most hands on and fun so far. Our chef Amma was so knowledgeable and friendly. We made several different dishes (not just pasta and pizza) and enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal with plenty of wine and prosecco on the beautiful grounds of Chez Barone. The pick up and drop off from Sorrento train station just makes the whole experience very easy too. Thank you so much for such a memorable and fun day. This class was the absolute highlight of our trip to Sorrento and we can't wait to try out what we have learnt once we are home.

Such a fun time! The staff was communicative and flexible (the public transportation brought us to the meeting point later than expected), the class itself was informative and fun, Ana the instructor was kind and warm, and the food was great! We were STUFFED by the end!

Chef Anne is fantastic & a blast to cook with. She is a fun going chef that loves to share what she knows with us as beginner chefs.

We loved everything about this class! It was so fun and educational at the same time. The class was small with only 10 of us in total so we each got personal instruction. Our instructor was amazing and so fun. We made pasta, pizza, and tiramisu. There was wine while we cooked and then we all sat together to eat the most delicious lunch we had made! It was one of my favorite parts of our whole trip. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I did this cooking class during our week long trip to the Almafi and we highly recommend. Chez Barone’s estate is gorgeous. The views from his villa are incredible and the outdoor kitchen area is a perfect spot for a cooking class. We met some wonderful couples as well. Overall a great experience!
