What a special experience we had with Chez Barone! I had booked this as a surprise for my brother and his partner as part of his birthday present and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I had advised that one of our party had an onion allergy and that was perfectly taken care of. The setting is just stunning and having the indoor/outdoor kitchen gives you the best of both worlds. Chef Anna was so warm and welcoming and made sure we all got fully involved and her fabulous assistant Claudia made sure our drinks were kept topped up throughout. We leant how to make a number of interesting local dishes and it was definitely hands on enough for us. After all our hard work we had time to explore the grounds before sitting down to enjoy the food. 😋 Anna and Claudia even had a birthday candle for my brother- a nice, thoughtful touch. The communication throughout was excellent! We would highly recommend!

You need to go to this experience. The view, the chef, the cooking, the owner. It was a fabulous experience. Made a bit of everything, ate until we were full, drank delicious wine. Relaxed and all in front of the best view of Mt Vesuvius. We would go again at the drop of a hat, GO!

I enjoyed the time spent with other travelers on this experience who made the evening fun, but I was disappointed in the actual cooking class which was very business like and awkward. I heard good things about this experience so I was willing to pay the money, but in the end I did not feel like it was a good value.

Fantastic from start to finish, what a real cooking experience, as a person who spends little time in the kitchen, I have learnt a lot and look forward to using my new skills at home, A huge thank you to Anna for your support and encouragement during our class, a fantastic time and we enjoyed our rewards eating everything we had made.

This was an unreal experience even in a small group. They don’t hold back on the Prosecco or wine!!! Extremely nice and friendly staff and very hands on teaching you. You also get a nice cool book of what u made at the end

This experience was one of the highlights of our entire trip!! We were picked up in a large golf cart type vehicle at our hotel (Bellevue Syrene). The location of Chez Barone is breathtaking, It is located on top of a hill, overlooking the city, at The Palazzo del Barone, The entire cooking class and dining is outside. Chefs Anna & Claudia were fantastic. We prepped, cooked and ate pizza, raviolis, braciola and tiramisu. The chefs accommodated my dietary preferences and had vegetable options to stuff my raviolis and a fish dish in lieu of the braciola. My boys (ages 10 & 11) had a blast! Book this while your are in Sorrento, you will love it as much as we did!

What a wonderful experience which resulted in a delicious meal and making fun memories. Chef Anna was host and excellent instructor to our party of four. She was thorough in her instructions, and she took the time to make sure we all understood the steps needed to make our dinner and dessert. With a view of Mt. Vesuvius, our evening of learning to prepare several Italian dishes and then dining on our own creations was an excellent treat all around. I would highly recommend!

WOW! Incredible class on a stunning property overlooking the Bay of Naples. The views were unbelievable as was the food. This class is MUCH better than any other you can find in Sorrento city center. We had the best time. Chef Anna and Claudia were wonderful and we wish we could have spent every evening of our trip here.

We had a wonderful afternoon preparing several dishes from rolling flank steak to make a fantastic brosola to rolling dough to make fried pizza and ravioli to prepping a limoncello tiramisu. Chef Anna was very patient with us showing and guiding us in making these different dishes.

What a wonderful day we had doing the Chez Barone master cooking school! The host and the chef were amazing, friendly and made us all feel welcome and like we were chefs! After cooking we ate what we made with some delicious wine! Top 10 day!

So fun! Definitely worth it and an amazing experience. The chefs were lovely and our crowd was so friendly.

I can not say enough about our experience. The Villa is so beautiful, the owner greeted all of us and was so charming and welcoming. The chef and assistant were so wonderful to work with. They both made us feel so comfortable and helped add to the experience we had. They allowed us to ask any questions and gave great detailed answers to all questions. A great hands on experience we will never forget. This was on my wife’s bucket list of things to do and this was the best choice to achieve that bucket list item. Most definitely recommend taking this class.

Taking a cooking class in Italy has been a dream of mine and so glad we chose Chez Barrone’s Cooking School of all the choices available in the area. Ana and Ana were our chefs/teachers and they were an absolute delight to learn from. They cook with so much love and patience for those that are new to the kitchen/cooking. I loved how we were able to make four dishes — each one was SOO delicious. The flank steak was unique with toppings you can customize to your liking, the fried pizza, ravioli, and limoncello tiramisu were equally delicious in their own respect. We left with smiles, a full belly, and nicely tipsy from the wonderful wine they provided. The cutest and sweetest touch was the aprons that you can take home, cook book of what was made, and a certificate! Def look no further and book your cooking class with Chez!

The cooking class was amazing! The grounds where the cooking class takes place is beautiful. The food made was fantastic. The energy and teaching of the chefs were great. Most importantly, the flavor and taste of everything was perfect. 100% would do again!

We had a great time learning how to make pizza, ravioli, etc. The instructor made the class fun. We met lots of really nice people in the class. The food & wine was very good!

We just spent the most amazing day at Chez Barone with a wonderfully warm group of people. Chef Mina was just brilliant, guiding us through pizza, pasta, tiramisu and limoncello making in the gardens of the most beautiful Italian villa. Nothing was too much trouble, my 9 and 12 year old were welcomed and were able to join in fully. I am ill and Mina and Daniela made sure I was looked after and included. It was a day of laughter, joy and memories from the moment we were collected to being dropped off. Can’t recommend Chez Barone highly enough. Thank you Mina for a really special day x

Great views, beautiful farm house/villa, perfect setup, food and teachers. Me and my teenage daughter attended and in all honesty I was not expecting much and I thought it was expensive but my daughter has always wanted to try a cooking class in Italy. I ended feeling like it was great value for money, both hosts of the class we very friendly, kind, helpful and made this experience a very worth while visit from beginning to end. The food we cooked was delicious, the other visitors friendly and at the end we all sat and ate the 4 course meal that we had prepared. Then we were given our aprons, a cook book of the meals we had cooked and a certificate, I left with a very happy daughter. I would certainly recommend!

We really enjoyed the hands on and the lay out of the class. Host and teachers were awesome. We actually booked a second class for the lunch session, as we did dinner session first time.
