I had the best day on this tour .. my guide Zena was so amazing , she went above and beyond to make sure I had the best day I could and I think this tour made my entire trip to Asia !

This panda park was incredible. You can tell how much they love and care for the pandas from staff to visitors , we choice visit pandas at Dujingyan center, seen many of volunteers clean panda cage and prepare bamboo and other food , our guide Sean gave us an introduction and tell us all pandas background almost 30 pandas in this pandas Every step felt respectful and like we were just part of the pandas normal day and routine. Each pandas had a story about how they were rescued and why they were there. It was so touching to hear some of the stories. anyway, it is a amazing panda tour with even we don`t know which panda center is best to visit

Guide Finz was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. His English language skills were excellent. I would repeat with him next time I am in Chengdu.

This review of our October trip is a bit late but I would have to say one of my best experiences while visiting China. We were met at our hotel by Jay, who turned out to be a very informative and personable guide for the day. Not only did he share information about the center and the pandas, but we talked about life experiences in our countries, things of interest to both of us and how we as Americans are in love with the pandas. We enjoyed acting as panda keepers while the pandas watched us clean out their areas. Feeding them their snacks was such a treat as well as just watching them eat their bamboo and sit in their enclosures. We had a nice lunch and gained lots of information from a video about the research centers. Another highlight included seeing Red Pandas and some bears at the centers.

Sean awaited us in our hotel lobby at the mentioned timing. Everything went smoothly. he was kind enough to cater to our meal preference. he explained all the information clearly and splendidly. Good spoken English. The driver Jay is also good in explanation.

Booking this experience paid for admission into the park, an English speaking tour guide, and transportation from our hotel to the pandas and back. It also included lunch at the panda park and a visit to a nearby panda village. Our tour guides Jay and Cheryl were well knowledgeable and very friendly. I would highly recommend booking with them. They took care of getting us there in a timely manner, purchasing our tickets, and helping us every step of the way. Upon arrival, we were offered the opportunity to participate in the optional panda keeper experience for an additional 900CNY (~$125). After having done the experience, I would highly recommend it! Participating in the panda keeper experience allowed us behind the scenes, into the panda enclosures, and with direct contact of the pandas. We were able to help clean the outdoor panda gardens, the indoor panda cages, make panda protein cakes, feed the pandas two different times, prepare food for the pandas, watch a documentary about pandas and efforts to help increase their population, and explore every inch of the park itself. Meeting the different pandas was incredible! We learned about each of their individual stories, how they got to the panda park, and what their journey after might be like. Overall, I would encourage everyone to participate in the panda keeper experience. Not only does it benefit the pandas and the park, but you also get the experience of a lifetime!

We had an amazing trip to the Dujiangyan Wolong panda centre. Being a Panda keeper for the day is worth every penny. We saw over 40 Pandas, a good mix of baby pandas and adults. We made panda cakes, cleaned the enclosure and the best of all was feeding the beautiful panda bamboo shoots in his enclosure. So much fun. 5 stars.

Overall, I had a great experience. It's an extra 900RMB to feed the Panda, and unfortunately, you cannot touch them anymore. The feeding lasts only a few seconds and you get to do it twice, so expectations should be tempered. The guide and driver were both great.

We had a great time with the volunteer experience at Wolong! Our guide was professional and spoke fluent English. Car ride was smooth and comfortable. Excellent once in a lifetime experience! Definitely recommend.

In the midst of the array of different Panda Tours, Jay's Pandayak tours, was the best choice. Decided to take the Dujiangyan site, got picked up at the hotel I was staying at, by Jay, and during the 1.5 hour drive there, he was professional, interesting, and informative about Pandas and the history in China. At the site, chose to be a Panda Keeper (additional donation but so worth it!), and got to clean the Panda quarters, make Panda cakes, and be up close and personal with Pandas, that the public cannot. I even got to feed a Panda two times, once in the morning and then again in early afternoon. It was an amazing experience and also got to eat with the staff of the site in their canteen, real local Sichuan food. Overall, Jay was amazing, allowed as much time to enjoy the Panda Base, and then headed back to our hotel. Know that when buying this option tour, its very personalized, there is no one else, just you and your friends and family. it was a pleasant surprise as I thought we were going to be with others. Book ahead of time, and Jay made it so easy with his contact information, so there was no worry in confirming and communicating with him as he had options of WeChat, facebook, email, etc. I just went on this tour last week, and can only give my best choice for the Panda tours that I looked at, to Jay. The cost was fully worth every penny, and Jay's tour I highly recommend without any reservation! Jeff N

This experience was on our bucket list!! and the whole reason we travelled to Chengdu was to do this experience. The day was amazing as far as being with the pandas, learning about the whole story around the program and our guide Sean, he was great. I do have to be honest, its a LOT of money- not the actual panda experience thats 900CNY each- and from other travellers I heard they paid 700CNY, but we paid $381.00 Australian dollars for the car and guide. Sean the guide was great, but the car had a film over the windows so I couldn't look out and for $381.00 I expected a better car to get us there and back as its about a 1 and a half hour drive. The time with the pandas is amazing!! They are the most adorable animals and Sean did everything to make sure we got great photos and enjoyed our day. The cleaning of the cages etc, was a little strange as well as your just cleaning their is no interaction with pandas,. All in all, very happy we did the tour.

An experience of life to have a close iteration with such cute animals as pandas... although I traveled alone, I highly recommended for families with children.

We had THE BEST DAY EVER! Our guide, Jay, spoke excellent English and knows literally everything about Pandas. I looked right into the pandas eyes and could see his little panda soul. The pandas here are treated wonderfully. Take all my money China!! This park has more pandas, yet is quieter than the other panda parks. We came in the middle of Golden Week but it is still fine, not too many people here and you can get a good look at the pandas. Definitely spend the extra money and do this experience. You can skip lines and get to see behind the scenes. It is a privilege to clean up the poo of these majestic creatures 🐼

We had an amazing time on our tour with our knowledgeable and fun guide Jay. You get to see so many Panda's and the behind the scenes experiences from being a volunteer is well worth it. Hand feeding a Panda is an unforgettable activity. Pick up was on time and easy and proved lunch was tasty and filling. Highly recommend this tour.

This place was phenomenal. All the Pandas are well taken care of and the staff are very professional. You can tell they care about the preservation of the Panda considering it’s an edangered species. The best part was the privacy. There wasn’t crowds of people so you could actually get close and take pictures. I highly recommend this tour!

This is the highlight of my China vacation. You can see that the pandas are very happy and well taken care of. This place focuses on making the pandas feel at home in their natural habitat. That makes me very happy. I recommend this place to anyone visiting china. This is a must do!

The Dujiangyan Wolong Panda Tour was an amazing tour. The Dujiangyan Wolong Panda Tour has a good level of interaction with the pandas. Each panda has its own personality and characteristics which made the tour interesting. Each viewing station had enough room to engage, take phones and see the pandas from different angels, however no petting. I appreciated our tour guide for giving us an in-depth explanations of how pandas are transferred, protected and rehabilitated from and into the wild. I would definitely do this tour again on my next visit to Chengdu.
