This tour was a fantastic way to see The Queen City! Our tour guide was personable and SUPER well-versed on Charlotte. I HIGHLY recommend!

Gary was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and showed us all the things we asked him about.

Excellently operated tour. Twelve passengers on fifteen-seat van with driver/guide. Started "Uptown" (which is what the locals call the central district), twenty minute stop at a market with restrooms and coffee, food, & beer, finishing with a tour of lovely homes in the suburbs, at times following next to the Little Sugar Creek Greenway trail (which is why we were in Charlotte to begin with). There are a lot of tall buildings in the city so to see the top of them from the bus can be difficult if too close. But driver Gary did his best to get us some decent angles and his commentary was always interesting. We had not been to Charlotte for decades and found this a great way to get a handle on the city.

We had one day to get an overview of the city, & it was a very rainy day. So we opted for this tour in an enclosed minibus, & we’re so glad we did! We were the only 2 people on our tour, so the owner gave us a private tour of the city. His knowledge of history included Revolutionary War and Civil War facts. He also was current on all growth stories about Charlotte. We highly recommend it!

The tour was excellent. We met at the Westin Hotel and from the beginning to the very end, it was a great experience. Joe, our guide, was warm and welcoming from the first minute. He knew so much information - landmarks, historical details, and facts, and gave a great tour of Charlotte. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a really immersive experience.

This was an excellent tour. Our narrator knew Charlotte inside out, and imparted many facts without being boring. Truly expert. My only gripe was that the instructions on how to find the starting are now out of date as station names have been changed. Fortunately, we'd left with loads of time to spare so wasn't late.

Gary had an amazing amount of information and told it in an interesting way. I appreciated learning about the history and the contemporary, including restaurants and new construction as well. We wish we could take a tour in every city that we visit with Gary as our guide!!!

The historic district on the north end. Our driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. This is a great way to find all the hot spots.

Ereat tour of Charlotte. Gary the guide was excellent. Charlotte is a beautiful city and is still up and coming. Lots of new construction going on and new business headquarters relocating here. The Myers Park neighborhood was truly a beauty.

Wonderful overview of Charlotte and its history! I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We covered uptown wards and other historic neighborhoods and had a delightful rest stop at the 7th Street Market.

So much information about the history of Charlotte! Glad someone who knows their way around the city was driving. Comfortable vehicle too. Only down side - parking situation not too convenient - glad we allowed plenty of time to get situated. Still, overall experience was great - I recommend the tour to get a good feel for the city.

Awesome experience, Gary was very knowledgeable in the history of Charlotte. Great to have a quick stop in the market for a bathroom break. The van is a tight squeeze, would not recommend a large person try to get into the van.

It was really interesting learning about the history of Charlotte and the many characters’ stories. The historic homes are beautiful!
