Incredible experience cycling in the Chaga villages. My guide was Dennis and the whole day was amazing!

Just finished our bike tour with Rodger. WOW! Amazing day and experience. Rodger took care of everything we needed and was extremely informative about the culture and the area. He was very kind and patient and even gave up his bike when one of our e-bikes died. He kept the pace to our liking and was always checking on us to make sure things were good. Couldn't recommend One Bike and Rodger more!

I had a great tour with guide Roger. We biked through many scenic villages with a nice lunch included. It was great that the guide made sure I was okay during some of the more strenuous paths and we went at a pace that was right for me. Highly recommend.

I met guide Dennis, he is very kind and nice. I really enjoyed this day trip. If you have some experience of bicycle ride, I recommend this trip than walking trip.

Had a great day out with guide Roger! The rain made it somewhat slippery, but great fun to see Moshi and surroundings from a different perspective. Roger told a lot about life in Chagga villages, plants etc and is all in all a very open and friendly guy. One Bike also has a well maintained selection of bikes to rent and does great work for the community.

We did a bike ride with one bike Moshi. We did a 40k ride that was excellent. The ride was not too steep and low on traffic. The scenery was very nice and changing from small villages to 'the desert' (that was actually green). The bikes were in good condition and the guide was super friendly and relaxed. We found the bike ride an excellent way of exploring the Moshi area.

We had a great day around Moshi. Tour guide Roger showt and told us everything about the villages around Moshi! We would advice anyone to book a trip with One bike if you plan to stay near the Kilimanjaro.

Roger was a great guide on our day trip cycling around the Chagga villages even being our personal photographer! Beautiful scenery and great to explore somewhere we wouldn’t have been able to find alone! Lucky to get wonderful views of Mount Kilimanjaro at the start of our ride. Prepare for a lot of uphill for the first half but the views and the downhill at the end are worth it. Take lots of water with you as you’ll need it!

An absolutely authentic experience driving through local villages while on the bike (riverside, bridges, old missionary church, tasting Banana Beer, learning about chagga traditions). The route can be adapted according to the bike level of participants. We believe the idea behind “OneBike” to be truly worth supporting and hope that many more get the chance to explore the Kilimanjaro hills with Hillary&co.

Incredible. This was a unique experience we are so happy to have done. Roger, our guide, was phenomenal and so kind. He also enjoys photography and took these pictures of us that we are so grateful for. He and the rest of the staff were fantastic and attentive. From the scenery to the challenge, everything was perfect and we couldn't be happier to have done this. Not to mention that One Bike shop is doing some tremendous work in the surrounding communities, which we were happy to learn more about. Thank you One Bike! My recommendation to folks that book is that you be honest about your athletic ability. They can tailor the trip. The one we did was very challenging and while we enjoyed it, it was likely more strenuous that we should have booked. We probably could have fared better on a bit easier of a route, but we selected the harder trail.

Incredible experience! Absolutely stunning landscape. Roger was such a fantastic guide and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. This is a must do if you are in the area. I recommend you be honest about your athletic ability. They can take different routes. The one we took was definitely a challenge, but they can make changes based on your level of athleticism.

If you like biking, it's a perfect way to see the tanzanian countryside. The guide is very knowledgeable and loves to answer questions along the way. The lunch was unique and tasty! I was super impressed!

I had a day free after climbing Kilimanjaro and decided to do a bike tour of the Chagga Villages. Brilliant experience led by cycling enthusiast Roger. I learnt so much about village life, banana and coffee plantations. It was a beautiful, green route out of Moishi with stunning clear views of Kilimanjaro. Well worth keeping going to reach an incredible old church at the top of the hill, before free wheeling back down into Moishi. We stopped for traditional banana beer and a Tanzanian favourite of Chips Mayai! Thank you Roger and One Bike Tanzania for a great adventure.

Roger was our guide and made our trip fun and memorable. My husband and I definitely were not as physically fit as we should have been (it’s 48k and half is mostly uphill) but Roger was extremely patient when we kept stopping. But if you regularly exercise I definitely recommend this trip! It had beautiful views and it was really awesome to see the chagga tribe.

This was an awesome experience! Hillary (the One Bike owner) was super accommodating despite my last minute booking and even provided transport to and from my hotel. Saidy (my guide) was very informative about the area gave me much needed tips on cycling techniques. As a beginner mountain biker, I can say it was a great way to see the villages, learn about the local culture, get a workout and ride in good company. The One Bike cycling company is founded on principles of sustainability, community and environmental awareness which makes it an easy 5/5 for me!

What an incredible experience. Hillary's tour was a perfect way to truly experience the Kilimanjaro region. We biked from Moshi to the Chagga Villages, stopping along the way to check out plantations, try local fruits, and chat with locals. I am by no means an experienced cyclist, but Hillary adjusts to your pace and just wants you to have a great experience. He and One Bike are dedicated to giving back to the community, and I couldn't be happier that we had the chance to be a part of it. HIGHLY recommend this experience (as well as banana soup and banana beer).

This tour far exceeded expectations. We booked this last minute to kill some time and explore the city / villages. We got an extremely enjoyable tour from Hillary, who has clear passion for his city and this beautiful region. We learned about local agriculture, customs, met people throughout villages, wove through the stunning Kilimanjaro slopes and plantations, and tried authentic regional foods. In addition to starting this company to show travelers around their beautiful region, Hillary and his team do other programs to give back to their community - and the love for their city showed through very genuinely. We couldn't recommend this tour and this company more! It's worth going out of your way to make time for if you're nearby.

Hillz was a fantastic tour guide who is also the owner and operator of One Bike. We spent the day checking out different places around Moshi and stopped at a few different local restaurants. He goes at the pace and distance of each rider. No matter your skill and fitness level, you will have a great time! Not only was the tour great, his dedication to cleaning up the community and bringing awareness of health to Moshi via bicycling is inspiring. It was an all around amazing day and one of the best tours I've ever done. BOOK THIS EXPERIENCE!!!

Amazing ride with One Bike. Our guide Hillary has awesome mechanicals skills to make any little fix on the bicycles. The landscapes are beautiful and it was not crowded at all when we were there. Good to know : it's possible to customize a tour depending on your free time, it was perfect for me and price was really attractive. We enjoyed it so much!

This was truly the best use of half a day to explore Moshi and local villages with a personal tour guide. Said Juma, was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I'm in fact a avid mountain biker so this was great for me but would also suit a beginner. We tasted local food and tried banana beer. Just get it booked! :)
