Very fun couple to teach italian cooking.. the best bruschetta and pasta in our 3 weeks in italy.. we left with recipes and better understanding of why they work. We made fresh pasta but didn't actually cook it. We ate two pasta dishes, bruschetta, frittata, and wine. The bruschetta topping is the base for a sauce so easy to do at home. Very good time in a beautiful setting with great people.

Barbara and Stefano were fantastic hosts! They were so much fun and it was great to learn about the family recipes. We did the gnocchi making and they were very patient, as I was really bad at it (LOL). The pesto recipe she provided was fantastic, as I normally don't like pesto...I LOVED this one with all of the fresh ingredients that were provided. Barbara was so flexible with helping us move our reservation to a diferent day due a to a mishap we had with our rental car the day before. I was so appreciative. Getting to Barbara's place was quite the adventure--Luckily she provides a cab recommendation, so if you are going to her place--use the cab service! Otherwise, you will be walking up about 1500 small narrow, never ending stairs. USE THE CAB SERVICE from Riomaggiore.

Barbara and Stefano are the ultimate hosts! They are the most kind, warm and entertaining couple you will meet! They prepared an excellent meal with lots of instruction and opportunities to participate. Hands down our best meal in Cinque Terre!

Barbara and Stefano were amazing hosts. Their home is beautiful, though quite a hike to get to it. I definitely recommend using the taxi service. The class was great and we can’t wait to get home to see if we can recreate it!

Barbara and Stefano were wonderful! We loved their banter and felt at home. Barbara was very communicative before class and helped us with directions. We had a great time cooking with them and everything we ate was delicious. The view from their beautiful home is incredible. The walk (hike) up to their house is tough, so I recommend giving yourself plenty of time to get there. This was one of our favorite evenings on our trip to Italy! Highly recommend.

This class was excellent. It was hosted by a husband and wife team who work well together and we enjoyed lots of laughs with them and their loving banter. We met very nice people from Canada and Pheniox, Arizona. We learned so much on the secrets of making pasta and Tiramisu .. we had the added bonus of also learning to make fresh pesto and bruschetta, as well as pesto pasta sauce and fresh tomato & veggie sauce. Everything we made was beyond delicious. The only suggestion I would add about this class is making patrons aware that it requires quite a hike along unpaved trails and occasional uneven steps. Please suggest proper shoes be worn for the necessary path to get to the house. Other than that fantastic experience.

A very good cooking class that provided tips and recipes for some delicious dishes. We were made to feel very welcome in their kitchen.

What an amazing experience! Barbara and Stefano truly felt like family and were so helpful and fun! Barbera was very quick to respond to our inquiries about the location and even FaceTimed us to find her beautiful home. The food was delicious and there were many laughs! We definitely made friends for life!

Can’t say enough good things about this whole experience! From the beauty of the location, the coastal views, the invigorating walk, and everything we made from scratch! All the ingredients were fresh and locally purchased. The chefs really make a comfortable, funny, easy to learn experience! The thoughtful surprises they gave provided us memories of a lifetime. If you’re adventurous, curious, and humorous, this is an experience for you! We will definitely be passing this along to our family and friends when they are in town and may even make this a seasonal event with our new friends!

If you are going to Cinque Terre, this class is a MUST! Barbara and her husband were so hospitable! We made pasta, 2 sauces, bruschetta, and tiramisu! In addition, they treated us to cappuccinos, Aperol spritz, pesto and quiche just because! Not to mention the view while you’re there is unmatched! There was never a moment where we felt rushed or like this was a business- it felt like dinner with a longtime friend! This was the single BEST day of our 2 week Europe trip- and you’ll feel the same after you go!

Barbara and Stefano were amazing. Beautiful and kind, thoughtful and funny. We enjoyed learning and eating with them tremendously. Just be sure to get directions from Barbara before you try finding her home. Highly recommended.

Barbara and Stephano welcomed welcomed us into their cozy mountainside home overlooking the village of Romiagorri to participate in cooking and learning about pasta making techniques. Delightful experience, would do this again!

Amazing views of Riomaggiore from Barbara and Stefano's place. A little difficult to get to, but they were very helpful in providing directions (be ready to hike a little :)). Once there, we were warmly greeted by Barbara and Stefano. Starting with getting the tiramisu recipe and instructions from Barbara as she made them, all the way to the final meal of the wonderful pasta...was a delight! They served drinks, water, and a lot of fun! It was especially funny watching the sweet banter between Barbara and Stefano as they taught :)!! Really enjoyed the hands-on pasta making and the fellowship with others. Oh- also- a nice bruschetta was served as we were participating in the prep. Must do this if you're even thinking about it!!

Barbara and Stephan opened their home to us. They shared stories, their Italian historical knowledge, and amazing cooking skills and recipes. They are 2 loving and kind humans who share their love of cooking and Italy with visitors. I will treasure these memories forever and will be back.

Our food experience with Barbara was nothing short of incredible. Barbara and her husband went out of their way to make us feel at home, the food was absolutely delicious, and they were very entertaining. One of our best experiences in Italy.

The class was amazing. Barbara and Stefano were excellent hosts and made us feel right at home immediately. The food was the best we’ve ever had and the experience was even better.

The company rescheduled our tour with a different chef but failed to inform us of the change until after the class had started and we showed up at the first chefs home. The company did not answer our call when the chef informed us they were unable to teach that day. This company would not refund our money. Save your time and money and book with a private chef in which ever area you are traveling. Do not use this company unless you like throwing money away. They tried to say we didn’t cancel before 24 hours-however we showed up to a class that was cancelled. Still got charged. No response by phone or email about our complaints. I have never had such terrible customer service from a tour company. And we have used a lot.

It was a highlight of my time in Italy. Learning the art of making pasta and the right way to make tiramisu and bruschetta. Barbara was excellent. Their cooking school in the winery by the Mediterranean Sea in a UNESCO area was awe inspiring and beautiful.

Awesome time with friends and new friends. Barbara and Stefano were the best mists and the location could not be beat. Unforgettable!

Barbara is an incredible teacher, I thought I knew how to make pasta already, but I learned a ton in this class. She gives a great explanation of how every aspect of what she’s teaching is unique it it’s place of origin, and how different parts of each recipe can also be used for different things. She and Stefano were great hosts! It goes without saying that everything we ate was absolutely amazing, this was a highlight of our trip.
