So lovely and our guide Catia was so understanding with our children and need for breaks. Mario was lovely as well!

The tour was far too expensive. Entry to the catacombs costs 10 euros, and we could have had a German-speaking guide there. The information on the way to the catacombs and at the aqueduct was OK, but our companions in the last row of the bus couldn't understand it. We were very disappointed that we didn't see the most beautiful parts of the Via Appia Antica. When we asked where we could see the tombs on the Via Appia, the answer was: It's a long way away. And that's definitely a lie. We really expected more from a tour that costs 85 euros per person. Guys, take a taxi to the catacombs, you'll be better off that way.

Guide arrived late. We were a small group of 5 but guide did not speak to us on the journey and chatted with the driver instead. Other guests were trying to ask her questions about places we were passing on the way. The visit to the catacombs was the best part and the priest who was our guide was very good. The next part of the trip was a short time spent on the Appian Way then another quick stop to see the aqueduct. I asked the guide a few questions but she did not understand me or the other guests who tried as well. Bit of a nothing tour but if you can arrange your own transportation a visit to the catacombs is well worth it.

We were unable to hear a lot of what the guide said whilst we were driving in the other car.

Tour was excellent. Guide very knowledgeable. The vans we took to travel between venues were very hard to see out of. A larger, higher bus would have been better. However, the guide painted a picture with her words!

Enjoyed the Appian Way and the aquaduct. Shame at the catacombs we could only go down one 1evel. Tour guide was very good.

Tour was excellent! Do not need a dress code for this tour-very misleading. Others were dressed weather appropriate and had no issues going to the catacombs.

We were blown away by the Catacombs. The early Christian art was amazing, and seeing the tomb (replica) of St. Cecilia was quite moving. The guide for the Appian Way/Aqueducts was lovely and very knowledgeable. I wish I could remember her name.

Was one of the highlights of our trip to be able to walk along the Appian Way & especially go underground to the Catacombs. A religious experience for me.
