Alex was amazing…he did a great job connecting with each person and asking about our lives. The kayaking was absolutely amazing, as well as the wonderful swim. Best tour guide we’ve had!! Thank you!!

What a spectacular area! This was a great way to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Rome. The lake was stunningly beautiful and our guides Alex and Diego were very personable, sharing with us the history of the area. We’d highly recommend it for a morning or afternoon out with the family.

I went on this kayak tour with my boyfriend. It was really amazing! The kayak guide came to pick us up from our meeting point. He was there on time and the communication beforehand went really well. It was obvious that he is really passionate about his job. During the kayaking tour, he told us some very interesting stories about the local history, and about the history of the lake. It was all very interesting! He also offered to take pictures of us when kayaking, which turned out really pretty! The tour is amazing, he stays close to you, but he also gives you enough privacy if that's what you want. In conclusion, this was a really cool and unique experience, very fun if you want to escape the busy city centre of Rome on your vacation for a day.

Booked this tour as I love being outdoors and active on holiday. Have experience kayaking and was pleased that this was available to us on 30th December. Everything from start to finish was excellent. Arranged to be collected at Anagnina and we travelled to the lake. Only myself and husband booked for the date which made this very personal. Changing facilities on site, weather conditions perfect and scenery beautiful. Our guide was, friendly, informative and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this tour for people of any age and ability. A great way to view the lake!

Alex the instructor was amazing! He picked us up from the metro and brought us to the lake. What can I say, it's beautiful! Words can't describe! Also treated to some homemade pizza and a hot chocolate! (Coffee for my husband) . Great information about the lake as we paddled round! Highly Recommend! Weather was perfect!

I took the tour with my parents. The guide met us at the metro station at the agreed time. We then had a quick and enjoyable walk to see both lakes. Afterward, we headed to an incredibly beautiful town. To conclude the tour, the guide took us to a delightful restaurant where the food was excellent. The guide is outstanding and very attentive.

We had a fabulous time on this trip. The lake was beautiful; we had a very chilled paddle around its left side (we were given the choice) and enjoyed seeing turtles and various birds, as well as the weed covered remnants of a sunken car! Alex was very knowledgeable about the area and it's history, which was very interesting to learn about. He also kindly provided homemade pizza for lunch before our train back - delicious! If you are looking for a relaxing escape from the bustle of the city, we would highly recommend this excursion. Thank you, Alex, for a great day 🙂

Wonderful trip to a refreshing lake not far from city center. Water was clean, we took a swim, too. Well organized, we were picked up on time from Anagnina metro station. We saw turtles and birds. Kayaking was fun and easy, my 13 year old daughter managed to do it well on her own, with the help of good guidance from Alex. Definetely would recommend this trip to everyone!

Beautiful calm lake Albano was a great setting for our first kayaking experience. Alex our guide was clear and calm in his instructions for the operation and manoeuvring of the kayaking, and set a manageable pace for our trip. We set out on a scenic tour hugging the shoreline and we’re able to observe the local wildlife and beautiful landscape.

We missed our tour due to arriving at the incorrect pickup point. There was a description of the pickup point but not an address. Google maps lead us to the wrong pickup location. I will request for a refund.

It was very difficult to get a hold of the tour guides despite emailing, texting, WhatsApp and calling. They were non responsive when I tried to find out the pick up site, so I ended up getting a taxi to take me to the meeting site, which I arrived several hours earlier (intentionally). I get a call from the tour guide Michael asking where I was because they needed to leave for the meeting point. I told him I was already at the Lake. After the tour, while Michael was driving us to the pickup up point, an item fell out of my purse. After he dropped us off, before we even left the pickup point, I realized the item was missing. Again, like pulling teeth to get a hold of the Tour leader. I think it was finally through trip advisor that we finally made contact in which Michael confirmed they had the item that fell out of my purse and inquired how I would like to retrieve it ...and here I am, offered a solution, willing to compensate for any troubles, but NO response. I realize they are busy, but not so busy that you cannot confirm with guests receipt of messages, or that you are willing to assist the guest in returning the item. I am returning to Rome on the 18th and gave a specific location in which it could be turned in to by that date, allowing plenty of time for the item to arrive to the destination. Willing to compensate for the trouble. What other means can I get a hold of the tour guide, if not through call, email, text, app, WhatsApp or this review? I'm a bit dismayed as I was in the lack of communication to get to the pickup point.

We did this with another couple and found it easy for first time kayakers, and it was a fairly relaxing afternoon. We got picked up at the metro station by Carlotta (?), and she was very kind and helpful. She seemed eager to talk to our group throughout the day, and drove us back to the metro after the tour as well. They all speak English. The kayaking part is pretty easy as this lake is very peaceful and not crowded. Only recommendations would be to bring a swimming suit, water shoes or sandals, a change of clothes AND towels. They did NOT provide any towels. There is a changing room and bathroom on site you can use before getting on the kayaks/change after. They did provide a bottle of water and a snack (pizzas), but you may want bring your own snack as the kayak part took about 3 hours. If I were to do it again I’d book a morning tour instead. From metro pickup to drop off it was 5 hours so we got home at almost 8pm. Carlotta chatted with us on the ride back and we enjoyed visiting with her as much as we did the kayaking. We paid her a gratuity (20 € per couple) which I don’t think is required or expected, and she seemed very appreciative. This was a fun time and would be easy for couples or groups, and does not require any kayak experience.

The whole process start to finish was smooth and simple. The guys were very helpful and friendly and got us out on the water in no time! It was such a peaceful break away from Rome city Center and the views were amazing! We were provided with all the equipment we needed and at the end we were given some of the tastiest pizza we’d had the whole trip! Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a quiet morning surrounded by beautiful views.
