This was sooo fun and soo much good food. I was sooo stuffed after this tour thanks to Nezha. One of the best food tours I’ve had. We were taken to a famous bakery, spice market, local market, olive market (bought fresh olive oil and saffron) and an amazing grill where the wait staff were just the best. Nezha gave us so much history of Casablanca and Morocco, we randomly stopped by places on the path to our next tasting because she must be famous, she knew everyone :-). I would highly recommend this to anyone coming to Casablanca.

My mother and I were on Nezha's wonderful tour of the Habbous area of Casablanca. I expected a tasting menu throughout the city. But what I got was much more! Great history, a non-touristy area, and two meals! Come prepared to really eat and try some new things. I highly recommend this tour.

A must do for any foodie visiting Casablanca! Our guide, Nezha was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the city and its cuisine. The tour included several delicious food stops, and visits to the different markets. There's tons of food to be had, so skip breakfast. You won't leave hungry!

Great tour with Nezha. We learned about local customs as well as foods. Such an interesting part of the world. Never thought I would see a camel head in an open market! Would highly recommend.

Absolutely the highlight of our vacation! Our guide, Abdu, took us to a small fishing community just outside the city. We tasted raw oysters and clams that were huge and delicious. We selected some fish which Abdu took to one of the small restaurants to have cooked for us. Our seafood lunch was abundant and DELICIOUS. After lunch we went to Habous Market and walked through the butcher section. We had the opportunity to select some meat (camel, sheep, or beef) and have it barbequed for us. Abdu guided us through the market where fresh fruits, herbs, olives, nuts, and spices are sold. The colors and smells were amazing! This tour is a wonderful immersion in Casablanca local culture.

An amazing experience, Nezha was so nice and took us to some amazing spots, all of the food we tried was so good. I was traveling by myself and I felt super safe. I would highly recommend this tour, I learned a lot and was able to taste some delicious steet food and in restaurants.

Our tour leader, Hasna, was absolutely amazing! We had a deep discussion about Moroccan life and philosophy that we thoroughly enjoyed, all while sampling fantastic food. The food, history, walking through the souk, interacting with local vendors and restaurant owners- it was all so enjoyable. Hasna even picked out fresh cuts of meat from a butcher, then brought it to a restaurant where they cooked it for us. The food quality was spectacular! We especially loved the grilled camel and the fresh prickly pear fruits. This was our favorite tour that we took in Morocco. Hasna was kind, caring, patiently answered our myriad of questions, and spoke from the heart. We loved her tour and would highly recommend requesting her by name!

The guide was so knowledgeable and treated us like royalty. We ate and talked and ate and sat and ate some more. The variety of food and drink was awesome. The marketplace was also amazing.

We had a great experience with Hasna as our guide. First of all, the area of Casablanca for the tour (Habbous) is beautiful and so interesting yet is not filled with tourists making it totally authentic. Hasna filled us in on its interesting history. Which we would otherwise have missed. Then, there’s the food, and the sounds, and the smells and the people. So interesting. From the pastries and bread, to the olive market, to the spices, to the meats and fruits and veggies. We really liked how she took us to each type of area, bought the various parts we needed for lunch, the Anna’s it all prepared and served at a cafe. So delicious. We also appreciates her explanations for our many questions and identification of things that we were unfamiliar with. We’ve done food tours like this in 3 different countries/cultures, and this one with Hasna was excellent and so interesting. A great use of a half day. Thanks Hasna.

Our tour guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. There is so cultural history in Casablanca and Hasna gave us valuable insights while showing us its food culture. Our visit to Patisserie Bennis in Habous was a highlight.

A great tour - Naima our guide was helpful and knowledgeable, and even waited for us as we under-estimated how long it would take us to get the meeting point. A wonderful introduction to the real Morocco, tasting street food delicacies we would never have had the courage to try, and seeing the markets tourists don’t often reached. Capped off with a feast of more food than we could possibly manage, and pastries to take home! A great tour.

Our guide. Hasma was full of interesting facts about the food, the markets, and their history in Morocco. We tried a lovely sampling of treats and meats, fruits, nuts and savory pastries. Hasma showed us tastes and sounds we wouldn’t have discovered on our own.

The food on this tour was delicious and it was awesome to have a guide lead us through Souk Habbous. Hasna was very knowledgeable about Moroccan history, knows the best stops, and clearly has built up a great rapport with the local shop owners. I tried many new foods during the tour. My favorite stop was at an olive market in Souk Habbous, it was amazing! Hasna also speaks 7 languages including Arabic, English, French, and Spanish.

Nezha was an amazing guide and host. This tour was perhaps the best we have ever experienced. Nezha grew up in this wonderful and fascinating neighborhood, and generously shared her experiences and knowledge with warmth and joy. All of the places we visited had their unique scents, colors and tastes and the local people could not have been more gracious. Loved every moment.

Hasnae was a delight. She was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. She gave us some fascinating history of Morocco and regaled us with stories of her family. We started at the Cafe Imperial where Hasnae ordered a selection of local Moroccan dishes. After that, she led us on a tour of the nearby market. She explained that locals used this market. With charming enthusiasm she showed us shops selling traditional clothing and brass works. She also took us to sections that had olives, nuts, spices, and traditional cosmetics. We were offered samples at every turn. Unfortunately we were already so full that we couldn’t accept all that was offered. We enjoyed fresh sugar cane and pomegranate juices as well as prickly pear fruit. She was very helpful in negotiating the cab ride back to our hotel. We recommend this tour to people who like to eat and experience new foods.

Loved our food tour with Nezha — she was delightful. The aromas of the olive market, in particular, will live with me forever. Also the warm smile of the man selling prickly pears. And the public oven… It was so much more than a food tour, though. I learned a lot about a fascinating and beautiful part of Casablanca, and to be able to visit it with someone who grew up right there was a priceless opportunity.

Our guide, Nezha, was wonderful, took us to areas of Casablanca we wouldn’t have found, introduced us to delights we thought not to try, and led us to specialities not to be missed, the tour has been a true highlight of our time in Casablanca

Hasna was wonderful and pleasant during our food tour. She met us with a big welcoming smile, which made us feel comfortable right away. We were in Casablanca celebrating our wedding anniversary and decided to enjoy a “Taste of Morocco”. The food samplings were delicious, it was an overall wonderful experience. The knowledge that she shared about life in Morocco, as it related to the tour was also very interesting. She also took beautiful photos for us during the tour.
