Wonderful program to help Condors and rescue and rehabilitate native species. Very thoughtful and informative tour of facility and the stories of the inhabitants by Alberto.

Worth the time to visit a great place doing great work. Enjoy the explanation of what they do, where the animals came from as far as the condition and the plan to re-release back into the wild.

Our flight was pushed to an earlier time so our original excursion had to be cancelled. I found this sanctuary and booked the tickets immediately. Loved the tour! I run an animal shelter in the US and I was excited to see the great work the sanctuary is doing.

Albert and the sanctuary staff are doing great work providing for rescued animals and where possible releasing them back into the wild. The sanctuary is small and privately funded - they clearly feel a passion for their valuable work and share that passion with their visitors. Animal lovers and those interested in Peruvian animals will greatly enjoy this experience.

I really enjoyed the sanctuary, it was beyond what I expected. The guide Alberto was wonderful in telling me about the sanctuary - the history, the animals and their care and rescue and release plans. This was the perfect last experience before leaving Cusco. My favorite was seeing the condor in flight!

Getting up close to animals in a safe, respectful, and ethical way has been one of the highlights of my trip.

Special, up-close experience with local animals and a private tour guide. Our guide, Albert, did an amazing job explaining everything to us, and he was extremely patient, giving us plenty of time to feed and interact with the animals. The front door pick-up service also made the entire visit that much easier, and our driver, Jhoao, was very friendly and had an immaculately clean car. Would highly recommended this to anyone visiting in the area, especially those with kids or teens.

This small sanctuary is a labor of love and it shows. The animals are well cared for and it was nice to be able to come close to them.

Visiting the sanctuary was a great experience! I saw many different animals (bears, llamas, alpacas, vicunas, condors, ducks, birds, for example) that were rescued and are now being taken care of at the sanctuary. Some animals will eventually be released back into the wild. Alberto (my tour guide) did a fantastic job of explaining the details of how a particular animal arrived at the sanctuary and I was allowed to feed the llamas and alpacas. I also made friends with a duck! Seeing condors up close was amazing! You can order an admission ticket online and when you arrive in Cusco, call the sanctuary and arrange for a round-trip ride from your hotel and back. There is a food concession on site and a souvenir shop where you can buy lots of nice things. Money goes to help the animals. Please visit the sanctuary; I know you will enjoy your visit and the animals are looking forward to seeing you!

Highly recommend this tour! It is very personal and for such a good cause. You learn about all the animals and how the are preparing to let them back into the wild. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Cusco.

They picked us up from the Hostel and drove us to the Sanctuary. We had a very interesting and nice tour with Jimmy. He is a very friendly and kind guy. We got a lot of information and could feed a few of the animals. It was a really nice trip and we can totally recommend it :)

We had the recommendation from the tourist guide Jorge, he told us our teens will enjoy the place and he was totally right. First this place have a unique purpose, rescue and save animals from people who believe wild animals are pets. The guide Camila was really sweet and fantastic with us, she explained us everything, she knows well the animals and she love his job. The animals looked very happy and well treated, just hope they can continue doing this amazing work, we had the best picture with one Llama but also my kids were so close Alpacas. The Condor experience was a little scary but completely safe, never expected be in the same place with huge Condors. This is an amazing place to visit and every visitor to Cusco must visit and help this place to continue doing better every single day.

Please come support this amazing animal sanctuary and have an amazing time learning about native animals while having fun. My favorite part was getting to feed the llamas and see how excited everyone was to be involved. I would love to come back and volunteer.

We decided to visit the sanctuary last minute & are very happy we did. The driver picked us up and returned us to our hotel. The guide was very informative & we learned a lot about the animals. We enjoyed feeding the llamas and alpacas and seeing the condors fly. The entire trip, including transportation, only took about 2 hours.
