Our group had a wonderful time trekking through Carmel with Leslie! She provided a lot of interesting facts along the way and was always willing to take photos and entertain our questions. The tour was just the right amount of time - not too long, not too short. We really enjoyed getting to see so much of beautiful Carmel in an expeditious and fun way. Our guide was amazing. He took us all over Carmel and gave us a lot of information. Our only issue was one of the owners/manager. She interrupted our guide when he was giving us information and told us we could just put our own bikes away. Very rude.

The Carmel e-bike tour was really good. Angie was great. Very knowledgeable in history and architecture of Carmel. The tour is good for all skill levels. It’s an easy ride. I suggest doing the tour early in your stay as we also got good recommendations on restaurants and things to do while there.

Logan is the best! Had a great tour of 17 mile drive. Bikes great and staff very informative. Road through Pebble Beach everything worked great.

Angie & Cypress were fabulous tour guides! Biking around Carmel-by-the-Sea is the BEST way to see all the highlights…Hugh Comstock Cottages, Mission Ranch, Carmel Mission Basilica, and the beautiful coast! We had a great time and appreciated Angie’s wealth of knowledge on the area!

Angie was our guide on this interesting and scenic tour. Bikes were easy to use. Angie and the person who greeted us at the shop were very friendly. Very pretty town and a beautiful beach. Angie was very informative on how the prettiness of the town started and how laws have evolved over time. We lucked out and saw dolphins :). I am more about the beach than architect so would have loved at least a 15 minute stop at the beach but all in all nothing bad to say about the experience.

Yesterday me and my girlfriends decided to take the Carmel-by-the-Sea ebike tour with the Mad Dogs and Englishmen Bike Shop and it was an absolutely AWESOME! The tour was the perfect way to explore the town and learn about its rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant culture. We cruised at such a nice and leisurely pace making it easy to take in all the beauty and charm of Carmel. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and did an excellent job of bringing the town's past to life. We learned about the history of the area, including its indigenous peoples and the founding of the town by artists and writers. We also saw some of the most iconic landmarks in Carmel, including the historic Mission and the iconic white sand beaches. In addition to the history and architecture, the tour also highlighted the town's pop culture and wildlife. We saw some famous film locations, including the house from the movie "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir," and we even got to see some local wildlife, we saw a few sea otters and seal lions, off the beach. Overall, the electric bike tour was a fantastic way to see the sights and learn about Carmel-by-the-Sea. The bikes we rode on were super cute and were super easy to ride and seem well maintained and the tour was well-paced, making it enjoyable for riders of all abilities in my opinion. I highly recommend Mad Dogs and Englishmen Bike Shop for anyone looking to explore Carmel in a unique and fun way. Five stars!

It was our first time in the Monterey Bay and our first time riding electric bikes and boy was it a blast. Alex our guide explained everything very thoroughly and made us feel safe and comfortable. He seemed like he knew everything there was to know about the local wildlife. The area is beautiful, the bikes were awesome, and the ride was spectacular.

Had a blast on this tour! Our tour guide Zane was so knowledgeable about the area. His charismatic personality made our ride so enjoyable and we were laughing the whole time. I would recommend this tour to anyone and what a great way to spend the weekend!

We took this tour on the spur of a moment and it was a rather cloudy and chilly day but that did not detract at all from the enjoyment. From start to finish, we were well looked after with helmets, gear instruction, and rules of the road regarding safety. My wife was a little apprehensive about going on one of these bikes but was soon going faster than me! They are really easy to ride and hardly require any effort unless you want to put forth effort. Now to our guide, Zane, was superb! He was born in Pacific Grove and is a marine biologist and environmental advocate so he has a great insight into not only the local history but also the wildlife. He made it a very interesting and informational tour with regular stops at all the focal points. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The first impression was we were in for a treat! There shop is amazing and they stock alot of cool stuff. Then we met the one and only ZANE! He has a wealth of knowledge about the local flora and fauna. There wasn't a question he could not answer in relation to the wild of the area. The specialized bikes we rode were very well maintained and super easy to handle. We will definitely be back to ride again with Mad Dogs and Englishmen.

Our guide, Zane, was excellent. He provided interesting background and history for each stop we made on the tour. The views were great with many photo opportunities. The bikes were also super easy to ride and you can pick your exertion level whenever you want. A very good value and a very fun thing to do. I highly recommend the tour.
