Capri and Anacapri are beautiful and well worth the visit even if you're not into designer fashion The chairlift costs extra €14per person and the views were incredible. If you find the thought of the chairlift a little scary there are still amazing views from Ana Capri. Our guide Desiree was excellent and knowledgeable. Capri is very expensive- we bought three ice creams and two soft drinks and this cost 51euros! Overall a glorious day in the sunshine

Great opportunity to visit capri and see all the key sights along with plenty of free time to get lunch and explore on your own! The tour operators lacked some punctuality in terms of the pick-up and drop off at the hotels - we waited 40mins for collection at 07:30am so I was not happy about that!

The best value of this tour is twofold. 1). the guides navigate the impossible bus transfers on the island, seamlessly getting you from the harbor to Capri town to Anacapri and back. People unaffiliated with a tour can wait for hours to make each transfer! 2) the optional boat tour is exceptional. The boat backs into multiple grottos and drives through an arch! I did this tour several years ago and came back to it to introduce my daughter to Capri! She had a blast riding the chairlift on the top of Anacapri!

Our tour guide was exceptional. Very knowledgeable. I dont remember his name but he gave us a lot of useful information and we were extremely happy with him. I cannot remember his name. I am so sorry about that.

We enjoyed our trip with Golden Tours from Marina Piccolo Sorrento. As promised, we were collected from our hotel and taken to the marina. The ports at Sorrento and Capri were incredibly busy. But our guide Giulia remained calm and professional throughout. Collecting and distributing our outbound tickets for the ferry and providing instructions in English and other languages. Repeating these if needed. On arrival at Capri, it was very chaotic. So very important that we followed Giulia (and her brolly). After meeting up at the end of the port. We were transported by minibus to Anacapri where we were given options to go to the top by cable car, (extra cost). Or relax for an hour. Giulia then met us and offered a walk to those not taking the cable car. Also the opportunity to visit the gardens of Axel Munth. (Extra 10€ each). We really enjoyed the cool and peaceful surroundings of the garden and beautiful views. After returning to the bus drop off point. We were transported back to the marina in Capri and given free time to explore. The central area of Capri was incredibly hot, busy, and, although the shops are a sight to behold, they are very expensive! Giulia was very helpful suggesting places to eat. As a result, we enjoyed a lovely pizza and drinks at a family run restaurant in an alleyway just outside the centre. (Circa €25). Followed by a short walk down the narrow streets to where we came across a beautiful view and some gardens. We returned to the marina and central area, which was incredibly hot and busy. To meet our party and were given the option of a boat tour of Capri (extra €20 per person) or to visit the blue grotto cave. We enjoyed the boat tour and being told about the beautiful island of Capri from the sea by Giullia. Boarding the return ferry was again chaotic. But as organised as it could be with so many people of different nationalities. We were very pleased with our guide Giullia and her colleague Hugo. Who worked well together to make the tour memorable and enjoyable. Thank you Tips for future travellers: 1) Listen carefully to instructions from your guide. 2) Be prepared for busy crowds and traffic. 3) Be prepared for extra costs for cable car, lunch, boat trips etc.

Getting lost. location of collection not 14 steps from hotel. Failed to find and cost 25 euros to get taxi to pier. Could not contact on telephone. Tour poor, little history left to amuse oneself. Place to meet in Ana Capri for coach inadequate. Could not find, had to seek assistance from police to locate coach car park. Coach had gone so had to hitch a lift on another coach. Not much better than taking funicular to Capri town and bus to ana capri. All in all cost 200 euros for 2 of us. Feel we should receive a refund or at least part of the cost. Sorry but not to Golden Tours

Hugo our guide was amazing. He looked after us extremely well ensuring to book and help us get on to the activities we wanted. His knowledge was informative and helped us make the best of our day. Transport for the whole day was good and well planned. We felt we had a lot of good free time in each area although you could have stayed with the guide more closely if you didn’t want to go off. We did the stair lift up to the top point of the island …. This was an incredible experience. In Capri we had a walking tour with Hugo where he recommended a good reasonable priced restaurant. He also suggested things we could do after our lunch in our free time. We followed his suggestion and went down to some gardens which were £1 euro to enter but had the most amazing view. Hugo then rang and reserved space on the Blue grotto tour as that’s what we wanted to do from the harbour. Some people in our party did the island boat tour which he arranged for them and some did the boat with the swim. We then we’re met and Hugo ensured we got on the correct ferry back. We felt this was our best day in the area and we fell in love with Capri. This was due to our guide and the time allocated to us through the tour on the island.

Beautiful sights at the top of AnaCapri and an enjoyable 1 person chairlift to get to the top! Had a lovely time in Capri but would recommend going when it is not as hot in Italy (early may/end of september)

Danya was an excellent tour guide. She kept things moving. Our group was small but you will be traveling on large boats with other groups. The boat tour is a must even though it is an extra charge. We loved it. It was very affordable.

We went on the Capri and Anacapri guided tour from Sorrento. Capri is a beautiful Island and we enjoyed the trip. We had Giulia, who was very helpful and friendly, as our guide. The meeting with the group was however very unorganized. It was hard to gather the group as everyone meets about the same place. Once in Capri, we enjoyed our visit, but the time frame causes some limits. The space for your own explorations is too narrow for anything but shorter strolls and there are very few signs/directions/instructions to follow. Giulia did her best and offered two shorter walks for the whole group, one in Capri and one in Anacapri, but the rest of the time you are pretty much on your own, which would be ok with a extended time frame, but the way it is organized now you don't have enough time for the things you could have wanted to do. For example in Anacapri, if you do Giulias tour, you have about 30-45 minutes spare time to visit for example Axel Munthes home. That is not enough. And if you don't do Giulias tour, you won't find your way to his home. Which leaves you not really doing anything with the spare time, which is a pity. We took the boat trip around the Island which was very nice. I do recommend it.

Overall we saw some great sights of Capri. Our guide advised that a boat trip of the Island was better than seeing the Blue Grotto and was more worthwhile. I think he was right. The trip on land of the Island and by boat made it complete and definitely worth it for a day. The only disappointment was finding the guide at the meeting point proved difficult as there were so many tour operators and groups. Also, we were told that at the time of booking that the excursions were all included in the price - this was not the case.

We have just returned from Sorrento while we were there we did the Capri and Anacapri tour and what a spectacular tour it was we were luckly enough to have Tonino as our guide who spoke very good english and was knowlegable and informative. The tour started at 8.00 and we didnt get back till 6.30. Best day ever,The trip covered the whole of Capri and Anacarpi. The sights were awesome. Tonino was extremely honest about the blue grotto he said we would be better going round the island boat trip which was extra but well worth it. The Faraglon Rocks was a must and we did get very close to them and also still close enough to see the blue grotto. The boat trip lasted 1hr it was very well orgazied and the whole day was fantastic. Revello is very beautiful shopping village with wonderful churches.
but abit expensive.

This was an excellent tour and guide Tonino was knowledgeable and organised. The highlight of the trip was a high speed boat trip round the island for one hour and through the Faraglioni rocks. Breathtaking!! This was an additional cost of 15 Euro per person but is highly recommended to do.

Nice tour, very well guided by Vanessa. Disadvantage: a lot of unexpected costs optional boattour, lunch, drinks, .... Very large group of people and considerable loss of time for organisational reasons.

The tour guide can make or break a tour. We drew Tonino. He was not that attentive, not very informative, and somewhat difficult to understand at times. The Island is beautiful, and we saw a lot of it in a very short time. I was a little disappointed in the free time offered. You may have had limited time to do one extra venue but that was it. I would say that the main purpose for a tour like this is to see what is available on the Island for a return visit to see the highlights which interest you.

Small group was well worth it. Fabio orchestrated a beautiful tour on a super busy day on the island. Traversing the island is hectic, he did all the heavy lifting and we just enjoyed the island. Chairlift in Anacapri a must and a highlight of the tour.
