The chairlift with views from the top! The boat ride around the island! The restaurant did hose us for drinks though-they need to be more up front with the costs-even though we asked if the coffee was extra-they did not tell us!

Beautiful vistas. Take the chairlift! You won’t be disappointed until you have to keep saying more things in your review so they let you submit your review!!

This was a spectacular trip. The boat ride was quite nice. When we arrived our guide loaded us on a bus and we went right to the top to Anacapri boarding chairlifts to Mt. Solarno. The views were exceptional. Lunch was arranged as we arrived down. Those who chose not to go up the mountain had time to shop. After lunch we returned to Capri and had time to wander and shop. They had some nice shops at reasonable prices. Those who chose not to shop took a boat around the Blue Grottos. Those who went said it was amazing.

The best part of the day was spent on the water traveling to and from Capri. The boat trip around Capri itself was the most special. Also enjoyed the chairlift up the mountain at Anacapri. The guide Tanya was uninspired providing little information, just sheparding the group from place to place.

Our day started a little confused r the meeting point but eventually found the right guide. Pasquale was quirky and knowledgeable and made the day more interesting. Doing Anacapri first was a good idea. Capri was fab as was the boat tour around the island. Queuing for the main boat back to Sorrento - people not on tours just jumped the queue. All in all a memorable time. Would definitely do it again. Jaccqui

What an experience! My mother and I are visiting Positano for her 60th birthday and had an absolutely wonderful day touring Capri, Ana Capri and the Blue Grotto with our outstanding guide, André(a)! We were met in our hotel lobby with a friendly smile, communication with him was SO easy, conversations flowed so well and the overall vibe was perfect. He was so accommodating, knowledgeable, charming and endearing…shared many detailed facts and captivating stories of the natural history of not only Capri, but the region. For us, this made our experience beyond enjoyable :) We had easy access to the Blue Grotto, ‘on demand’ taxis up to Ana Capri and Capri Village…a beautiful day full of delightful tastings of limoncello, gnocchi with truffle, parmesan, garlic, tomato…and more! We highly recommend this service — and especially André(a)…Tutto perfetto, grazie mille!

Capri was beautiful, but we didn’t feel the tour was well organised and seemed chaotic at times. We went with a small local independent excursion company from Sorrento a few days earlier to Amalfi which was much better.

It was lovely to see the beautiful island of Capri despite the hoards of people and overcrowding on the boats there and back. We went to AnaCapri for lunch to escape the crowds. Recommend that any transport on the island is pre-booked to avoid queuing and waiting around the heat.

Everything was well organized and Ornella was such a great guide! It was so nice to have all the details planned for us and no stress about rides around the island and boat trip.

Ok firstly why arent there many reviews for this tour ? Somethings up! Save your money and health and book a ferry ticket to Capri, take the funicular to Capri town and a bus/ taxi to Ana Capri. We wished we had. We were asked to meet at 8am for the ferry which actually left at 9! Be prepared for lots of waiting and queueing on this trip. One of the guides was frantically trying to call the other one as time was ticking away for our departure and he was nowhere to be seen. We were handed headsets but to be honest they were rarely used. Our guide Toninio used the microphone on the bus but rarely spoke through the headset. We waited around for the bus to Ana Capri and to be fair it had rained a lot so the buses were delayed. A great opportunity to engage with your customers and talk to them and share your knowledge of Capri. We didn't really learn much at all. Lunch was optional but we were heavily encouraged to eat at the tour designated restaurant for the tourist price of 17 euros. The worst meal we have ever eaten in Italy! Dont order the fish! To be fair the pizzas looked nice. Probably a case of just choosing the wrong dish. We then headed to Capri town for free time. Ironically we enjoyed the free time away from the guided tour the most. We then opted for the optional boat tour at extra cost (21 euro) around the island. Although a bit choppy, we enjoyed this. Finally we were herded to the ferry departure pier. We along with others were seperated from the group by a port official who directed us to a different area. Tonio then called out to us to come back saying not to listen to him. We felt really uncomfortable and it was like being on a school trip! An argument then broke out between the guides and port officials. We guessed this was a mix up due to poor communication. We headed back to Sorrento and quickly handed back our headsets. We wouldnt recommend this tour.

We used this booking as part of our cruise and could not be more pleased. Our guide, Tonino was exceptional showing our group all of the sights of Capri and Anacapri and giving excellent recommendations on nearly every part of the island. He also went out of his way to help us get back to our cruise ship by booking a quicker return option to the port. I would recommend this tour 100 percent!

Despite the steady rain for several hours, this tour was filled with lots of opportunities to explore the culture and the beauty of Capri and Anacapri.

We had a great day- weather was good - the tour guide was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend taking the chair lift in Anacapri.

It's a short boat ride from Sorrento or the smaller port just a couple of miles up the coast. the views as you approach the island are very impressive . It's a lot bigger than you expect and a lot more mountainous. It doesn't matter if you're on an official tour, you can be independent and get around easily . A good tip is to get out of the crowded harbour and take a bus up to Anacapri which at the moment is very quiet. The short stubby buses are designed to navigate the very steep inclines and sharp hairpin bends, not a journey to enjoy if you have vertigo but the fare is the only thing you can call cheap on the island. It is eye-wateringly expensive, a basic mixed salad with a few tomatoes and a blob of tuna on some inedible leaves was 20E. Capri has its own take on " convenience" stores, for its richer patrons it has conveniently arranged Gucci, Dior, YSL, Bulgari, Versace, D & G, all on one street . Apart from that Capri is stunning with some amazing views and well worth a visit. The fitter folk might try the downhill walk from Capri town down to the harbour but there is a funicular tram if you're not inclined. If your health isn't a problem , your wealth might well be at the end of the day.

A great tour, the boat trip around the island was very good, don't expect to 'do' the blue grotto though, it's always busy, so may you need to dedicate a whole day just for that, time and tides permitting.

It was definitely not worth the money. It included the boat ride to the island. Everything else was extra. We had about 30 minutes with the guide and the rest of the time was on our own. Whatever you wanted to do on the island was an extra extra expense.
