Great experience with a very good guide. Best way to learn about Cappadocia's history and culture. Everything was explained to us very well - and we were given a good amount of time to explore. Highly recommended.

The scenary was beautiful , of course, what is more surprising is the life of medieval people here in Cappadocia making wine and cooking, and also praying in the cave. It is amazing Muslims and Christian people were living and praying till 1923. I was taught all these information by the excellent guide Kubra. She tried to supply much knowledge for us all the time, even in the car while moving. She is the best guide of all my tour experiences in Turkey. Lots of thanks!

So, if you’re looking for a small group + knowledgable guide + no scam places + cover all places - This is the tour for you. 10000000% recommend. Sahin, our guide, is very knowledgeable. He’s an archeologist who can answer any questions you may have regarding the history in Anatolia region. The way he explain is very knowledgable and very friendly attitude. We got so much experience and this made our trip in Cappadocia remarkable. This is a very small group of 5 people in a comfortable bus (van) - this is the main reason why we pick this tour, plus they covered all the places and do not take us to the scam places where merchants are pushy. There’s free WiFi on the bus. Lunch was really nice and included.

I booked blindly this tour via Booking and I am soo lucky I did. This tour was beyond my expectations thanks to Shahin the expert guide. His knowledge and history (not story) telling skills are remarkable being an archeologist himself. Long story short we were guided by simply the best. The place itself is mesmerizing and the diversity would please all kind of tourists.. Archeology, history, environmental and gastronomic tour in an entertaining and educating way of Sahin. This is a day I will always remember and tell about it. Thank you for everything and I will definitely come back for the other tours with Sahin in Cappadocia and all over Turkey as well. Highly recommended.

The tour was amazing. Shahin is a great and passionate guide who has very deep regional expertise and gives very interesting excursion! We went in the underground city, had the opportunity to look at it longer than most of the groups, saw lakes, monasteries. The dinner was also really good. Very exciting and well balanced tour!! This tour went to some amazing sites, including the Goreme panoramic view, Uchisar Castle (base), Pigeon Valley, Selime cathedral, Ihlara Valley, Narli Lake, and Derinkuyu. Because it went to so many places, some of the stops felt rushed, particularly Derinkuyu. We would have preferred skipping some of the less spectacular stops (Narli Lake) to spend more time at the more memorable stops. Selime cathedral is definitely underrated and should be a must-see sight for anyone visiting Cappadocia. Lunch was at a restaurant next to the river in Ihlara Valley and was better than expected. Our tour guide, Oray, was flexible and rearranged the order of our visits to avoid the biggest crowds, which was very appreciated. He was knowledgeable and friendly and led the tour efficiently despite having to lead a bilingual English/Russian tour.

The tour was fun and interesting. Our guide Ali was good. He gave us a lot of interesting information about the sites we visited. There were visits to expensive jewelry and souvenir shops. But I think all group tours include those. It was interesting to look around and no one was forced to buy anything. I think the original operator, Paphlagia tours forgot me in Goreme so they had to organize a special car pick up for me. But I did not miss anything as I was able to catch the group at the first stop. And as compensation they arranged an airport pick up for me. So that's nice.

The tour I went on was good, very interesting and the guide was a true professional - very chatty and informative. But I arrived and was transferred to a different tour agency to the one I booked. The tour was with Stone Gate not Paphlagonia Tours. The tour was 16 people despite clearly saying it would be 15 max. and we didn’t stop at Narligol Krater Golu. I still enjoyed the experience, but I had researched the different tour options before I went so was slightly disappointed it seemed to be slightly different. Had I known that I probably would have chosen a different operator.

Mr Shahin combines an in depth knowledge of the Cappadocia area, enlivened by his own experience growing up in Goreme city, with a passion for introducing his country to visitors. He expertly and fairly balanced explanations in excellent English with equal attention to another traveler who spoke another language.

Absolutely amazing!! Our guide had a vast knowledge of every site. We had a great time and I would recommend this tour a 💯!!
