An absolute must for anyone going to Cape Town. You can’t go to CT without going to a township and understanding the real history of SA. Our guide MT was excellent. Really knowledgeable and engaging. I can’t recommend this tour enough.

Me and my 14 Year old son took this township tour and we were very lucky to be just two of us in the group which gave a very personal feel to the tour. We walked around in the area and got a deeper understanding of the consequences of apartheid up until today and saw the daily life and the amount of creativity that is there within arts, music and sports. Thanks to our great guide Theo we got a broader and more true picture of life in Cape Town for the majority of the people. We are very grateful for this experience and it Will stay with us for a long time.

We got a clue from a friend of mine about this tour. We have been short on time, but Peter found a way to make this happend. It was definitly worth it. People always say things they are not true. I felt save and love the people in africa. I can compared it to asia. The Townsips are really similiar to every other city in the world. They are creative and they work like every other people in the world. The difference is that they aren´t heard or count and people just don´t now what this is really about. So take you Phone and call Peter, he well show you how it really is and not what the politicans are trying to tell the western world.

My family had a fantastic time with the AAE guys, MT and Cameron, on our private experience to Langa and Khayelitsha. Initially we were a little worried about whether this experience would be a benefit to the communities we visited or if we would feel like white voyeurs. However, MT and Cameron and the many other community members made us feel very comfortable from the moment we met them while still showing us an honest look at the historic trials and triumphs of the neighborhoods. On top of that, the guys just took great care of us and answered our thousands of questions. This experience is not to be missed!

This was a great tour. Our guides, Wanda and Simphiwe, collected us on time and took excellent care of us. They shared their knowledge of township history and culture and answered any questions we had. They were very open and honest about the challenges their people face. We visited the smaller Langa township and also the enormous Khayelitsha. It was very humbling to see poverty on such a massive scale. Wanda was very experienced and knew exactly what we needed. If you have never been to a township I would urge you to go on an organised tour. You haven’t experienced South Africa if you don’t.

The poor review isn't due to the tour itself, which I imagine would have been wonderful. But after booking about a month in advance and providing our pickup location, no one ever showed up to get us the day of the our, and there was no communication whatsoever from the company. We sent a message that morning confirming our pickup time, which went unanswered. We sent another message after our booked time had elapsed. We waited 20 minutes after the tour time and finally gave up. We did submit a refund request through Tripadvisor/Viator and hopefully we get our money back, but we cannot recommend booking through this company due to the lack of communication and leaving us stranded with nothing to do our one of our days in Cape Town. If they would have canceled or let us know in advance, we could have done another activity, instead of waiting around for them. If you book this tour, prepared to be left stranded.

Our driver Peter was unbelievable! The service we had the entire trip was second to none. He was early at every single pick up. Always with a smile on his face a great energy! There was no request that was a bother to him - he definitely has the mindset that anything is possible and he would make it happen. Car was impeccably clean every day and not once did we have to go fill up with gas, he would organise this off duty. 11/10 would recommend him to anyone and will definitely be using him when we come back. He made our holiday even better than expected.

This was a trip of a lifetime made that extra bit better by the group using Peter for the duration of the trip. The safety he gave us and the flexibility including amazing energy every day ensuring we arrived on time to all of the things planned as well as waiting around to pick us up was a big part of the trip being such a success. What an amazing humble guy who is extremely professional. Worth every penny. Highly recommend anyone travelling to Cape Town to get in touch and use Peter. Support small business if you can. Wow, what can i say about Peter and the service we received. A group of us came to Cape Town for 1 week, for a wedding and leisure trip. One of our friends reccomended Peter and his company for a conceirge service, so we decided to reach out. From the minute we made contact the service was fantastic. No stone was left unturned. Every single journey we used Peter for he was always 10minutes early for pick up, every vehicle was immaculately clean, the safety of his driving was second to none, he gave us so much insight and history about the city as we was driving around from day to day, no journey was too short or long (even a 10hr round trip of one journey). Even Peter as a person is so down to earth and real, what a guy!! Also, Peter and the companys charity work they carry out is nothing short of outstanding and it was an absoloute pleasure to listen to some of his stories, especially the life changing trip for the girls soccer team to Sweden was my favourite. Anyone needing a tour or conceirge service in and around Cape Town, I 1 million percent reccomend this company and especially Peter. Wonderful experience! Seeing the real South-Africa through the eyes of real South-Africans is definitely something else. Would recommend for sure.

What a humble, inspiring and impressive experience. The way the people welcomed me is something I will never forget. Guide Peter is a rockstar: many people in the area know him, so that gave me the opportunity to interact with the residents of the townships. He knows a lot about the history and lifestyle of those areas.

Today Imzu took us to Langa and one of his guides Kanja (if I remember correctly) showed us around. He was very nice and had many interesting things to say. The residents are also very friendly. We were able to see a lot and it was beautiful and poignant at the same time. We had heard bad stories about these neighborhoods in advance, but we really didn't notice any of this now. We never felt safe for a moment. We will never forget Kanja!! We definitely recommend this tour!!! This is also Cape Town.

Sibu was our guide and he was lovely and very informative. We had such a good day. We learnt so much, got to see a different side to Cape Town which we will remember forever. We went to two townships and had lunch in a local restaurant. Joe allowed us in to his home and showed us around some parts of Khayelitsha. We met some children who were so lovely and kind. I would definitely recommend this tour and company.

I will keep this brief because I don’t like writing negative reviews. The driver never showed up. I called the tour operator three times with no one answering the phone. I Called TripAdvisor. They called with no answer. I Emailed twice. No answer. Finally gave up after an hour. Later that evening, they responded apologetically that they had two groups and they forgot us. , I hate writing one star reviews it but someone needs to know that these people are not 100% reliable.

Theo is a legend! Very knowledgeable very friendly and very fun. We had an epic time. With MT (a great driver and a great guide) at the wheel we had a smooth and safe trip. When you’re with these guys u have nothing to worry abt u can just relax,enjoy and take it all in. This is a must do!!!

An unforgettable day. Mtitilele was our tour guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and helpful. We learned so much and we were provided with a rich, thoughtful and varied experience. Would recommend to everyone as a must do activity when visiting Cape Town.
