Coastline drive beautiful. Rest disappointing. Advertised as 45 min to an hour. Actually 1hr and 1/2. Menu restrictions unexplained and confusing. Fish breaded fillets included skin and bones. Mashed potatoes refrigerator cold. Driver was good and entertaining.

Interesting tour out of Athens. Mister George kept us entertained as he was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, it rained & we didn’t get to see the sunset.

Our driver, Anthony, picked us up at our hotel on the dot and was charming. He gave us some background and history as we made the drive to Cape Sounion. He was also happy to chat about modern Greek life and we had a good evening putting the world to rights! The temple is a lovely spot and we spent an hour getting in and walking round the site, taking in the view. We stopped at a local restaurant on our way back and had some really good local food - everyone else in the restaurant seemed to be locals so always a good sign! Would thoroughly recommend

We are in Greece currently and had the pleasure of exploring Cape Sounion yesterday with Ioannis! Ioannis was so kind and really took care of us. He picked us up promptly, his vehicle was clean, he supplied us with extra waters, and AC. Athens is abnormally warm right now so the AC came in handy. The drive is about 1.5 hours and the road is a winding (just a heads up if you get car sick!). I typically do but with Ioannis driving, I was all right as he was a great driver. Ioannis took us to a wonderful dinner spot on the way to the Temple of Poseidon. The food was excellent, the waiter was lovely, and the view was incredible - right on the sea! It was also a nice break from the road and a place with a bathroom! Once we were done, we continued our journey to the Temple of Poseidon. This is NOT one you want to miss! It is extraordinary and oversees the most beautiful views of the sea. Sunset was stunning and the area closes at sunset (which is around 8pm). We had more than enough time to explore and take in the views. Once the park closed, Ioannis was waiting for us and we headed back to our hotel. Definitely a trip to remember! A few tips for first timers: (1) This is not a tour! Once you arrive at the Temple of Poseidon, you are on your own. (2) There is a bathroom at the Temple of Poseidon. (3) Entry is not included! I did not read the description and carefully and missed that I had to pay for the entry. It is 10 euros / person so make sure to bring some form of payment. (4) Depending on what time of the year it is, the restaurant may vary. Ours was not at the Temple of Poseidon but it was delicious! (5) Bring cash for tips! Greece's minimum wage is extremely low and tips really help. And most importantly, (6) Have fun and take some great photos!

The sunset at Cape Sounion did not disappoint. Our guide was prompt and friendly, but spoke quietly so it was hard to hear all of his information. Be prepared for large portions of appetizers and salad. Save room for the fresh fish!

Great experience. A bit pricey, but the comfort of going to the place on your own, with a private car for you and your family, with the dinner included, I think is a fair deal.

The driver picked us up sharply on time. Very knowledgeable and friendly companion, drove us by the coast, while sharing endless experiences. We had a fantastic dinner and lastly the views from cape sounio were just breathtaking. Overall a great experience.

Ioannis was a great tour guide and this tour gives a different perspective of Athens . Scenic seaside drive showing multiple beaches, restaurants and recreational areas. Sunset at the temple was spectacular, especially for those who are unable to experience the Greek islands.. Dinner was authentic Greek cuisine and delicious. I highly recommend this tour to complement touring Athens city Centre

We loved our trip to Cape Sunio to see the sunset at the temple of Poseidon. Our driver, George, timed our arrival perfectly. The drive from Athens along the coast is beautiful. After the sunset, we enjoyed a nice meal at a local restaurant with fresh seafood and other specialties. The private tour was perfect, and we were able to enjoy the sunset, and enjoyed a comfortable ride without stress.

Anthony was a wonderful driver and host. He gave us information on the way there and back and the experience overall was perfect! He even stopped to take a photo of us on the way up! Definitely recommend!

This was a great trip. Cape Sounian is a beautiful location after a lovely drive along the coast. Our guide/driver George was very informative and considerate. I need to mention how accommodating this company was. I made a mistake on the date we were available and they were so helpful and gracious to switch our trip to the next day without penalty or complaint. I highly recommend!

The ride was picturesque and the sunset views from the temple of Poseidon were phenomenal. The restaurant was very good. The highlight of the trip was our conversations with our drivers and the discussions on Greek history. Would highly recommend!

The weather is very nice. George is a wonderful guide to have and we totally enjoyed our trip! He took great care of us throughout the trip. We took many pictures. And the portion of dinner is super big. No room left for dessert at all. Thank you for the gift: greek delight! We will remember this great hospitality from greek people!! 🇬🇷 💕

George picked us up in a clean and well-maintained SUV and took us on a tour that included the Poseidon Temple, Cape Sounion, as well as a lovely dinner at an upscale restaurant. Our driver, George, was very friendly and safe, and he had a lot of great information about the area and restaurant recommendations for the area where we stayed in Athens. Highly recommended!

We (wife and I) were on a 5 day vacation to see the sights and history of Athens. We decided to get out of the city for a little while, and this tour was perfect. Our driver Giorgos picked us up at our hotel right on time. We did the 90 minute drive to Poseidon’s temple, stopping along the way for a few pictures. At the temple, we arrived about 40 minutes before sunset. We explored the temple, then found a spot to watch the sun set over the ocean. We could only imagine that people have been doing that for thousands of years. After sunset, Giorgos gave us a few choices for dinner. We wanted seafood, and wanted to eat what locals eat. Giorgos knew the perfect place, and we had an authentic Greek fresh seafood dinner. Nice getaway. Great guide. Highly recommend.

Wow… what an experience!!! Being able to go out to Cape Sounion and see the Temple of Poseidon really could not have been better… the views at sunset were truly spectacular. The guide was amazing, sharing lots of info about Greek mythology and even culture. He was on time and the van was comfortable. He also took us to a nice restaurant for dinner. This was a great first night activity as well… able to explore some history, but not too intensive to combat the jet lag!

The guide was outstanding, very knowledgeable and considerate. The trip was so pleasant and comfortable. We all had a great time visiting the wonderful historic site.
