The concierge at our hotel booked this tour for us because we wanted a private car to take the four of us around the Cape Peninsula and see the sights. Anesu was a fantastic guide, and didn't mind altering the tour slightly to meet our particular needs. He was a great communicator, showed up on time, and knew of some restaurants and "off-the beaten path" locations that really enhanced our trip. He kept us entertained while driving, and displayed a seasoned knowledge of the peninsula, its history, and the best times to visit the best places. Highly recommended; would hire again.

Such a fun and informative trip! We were able to see boulder beach with the penguins and the cape of good hope. A FULL day tour - a little over 8 hours, with an excellent driver/guide called Passmore who was knowledgeable, informative and friendly - he also knew an amazing lunch stop! I cannot recommend this company highly enough and, if we were staying any longer in Cape Town we would have booked another trip with them.

Anesu is a great storyteller and gave us interesting facts about the Cape Peninsula tour we did with him and the culture in general. He was super flexible and adapted the tour to our needs and weather conditions. It was a pleasure to have spent the day with him and we highly recommend him.

We visited Cape Town at the end of November 2022 on a business trip. A friend and I were lucky enough to tack on a couple of days to explore the area, and when we inquired about what the biggest bang for our buck would be, the response was a Private Cape Peninsula tour with Jap Tours. Once we were connected to Anesu, planning was seamless. We arranged our pick-up/drop-off times and locations easily, and also planned out the day so we knew what to expect. The morning of the tour, Anesu was in our hotel lobby ready to go by the time we came down. Unfortunately, due to the weather conditions, Table Mountain was off-limits, but Anesu gave us recommendations to fill our day and make up for not being able to visit the mountain. There were several highlights of the day that made it an unforgettable experience, and one that I would highly recommend. First, Anesu himself. Not only was he a great tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area, the geography, etc. he also became a fast friend. We (2 female travelers) were comfortable with him within the first 20 minutes of the tour, and ended up feeling like we were on a day trip among friends. He went out of his way to maximize our time with quick and convenient drop-off/pick-up points, clear instructions, and he helped out whenever we had requests and/or questions. The second benefit of booking a private tour with Jap tours is the flexibility. At countless stops, we saw tour bus groups hustling to make it back to the bus for scheduled times. Some people were complaining that they didn't have enough time to get the pictures they wanted, or were hustling through the locations just to fit things in within their allotted time. With Anesu, we did not have that problem. We had the flexibility to extend our time at some stops, and shorten others, and it was all based on what our interests were and what we wanted to do. Having a private car, gave us the ability to get a custom-tailored experience along with access to a knowledgable tour guide who not only answered questions, but also took pictures for us, helped us with bookings and reservations, and the casual conversations we had with Anesu taught us a lot about life in Cape Town, definitely not something you would get from a large group tour. It was 100% worth the extra investment for a private tour, and I highly recommend booking one with Anesu and the Jap Tours team.

Crispen did an excellent job touring us along the Cape Penisula. We had a breathtaking 8 hours of graceful stops at the most beautiful places along the coast. We even had an existing drive through the neighborhoods. We topped the trip off catching the sunset.

We used Anesu for a number of transportation needs while in South Africa. Tours of Cape of Good Hope , Wine-lands and some private transportation needs. He made our trip special! Very knowledgeable and engaging and quite funny . My family loved getting to know him.

I had a full day private tour. Anesu took me from my hotel to the cable car at Table Mountain. Fantastic views! Before we toured CapeTown and stoped at colorful Bo Kaap. We continued along the coast, Camps Bay, Hout Bay, Chapman's Peak, and visited the lovely penguin Colony at Simon Town. On our way back we drove through the Cape of Good Hope Peninsula, took the funicular to the Cape Point Lighthouse and reached the famous Cape of Good Hope. He is a very good professional, respectful and shares his great knowledge and love for his country. I highly recommend Anesu and thank him for this unique experience.

What a great tour guide and great tour! We got to experience so much about Cape Town and the surrounding areas. It’s beauty was shown to us by our guide, Anesu, I would definitely recommend him and save yourself the stress you might experience with other means of getting to know South Africa.

Anesu was great! We were picked up from our hotel and he took us to all the highlights of the area. We saw the Table Mountain, penguin colony, the Cape of Good Hope including the lighthouse, a scenic drive along the coastline and we had time to stop off for a late lunch along the way. It was a long day (9 hours total) and we saw way more than we would have on our own. Definitely recommend this tour if you have a full day in Capetown.

Anesu picked us up in his nice Mercedes E Class and we did a full tour of Table Top Mountain, Penguin and Cape of Good Hope. We’ve taken many tours but Anesu was special. He was passionate about telling us the history and stories and was just a joy to be with. He knew the tricks of getting us through the tours faster and took us to a wonderful restaurant experience based on what we wanted. Overall, I would highly recommend him above the others because of his knowledge, professionalism and customer service. It was the highlight of Cape Town. As a traveler of over 60 countries, Anesu is the best there is in terms of tour guide and driver!

We booked a tour with Jap Shuttle and Tours for family of 5 including 2 children for the 22nd December which was also our last day in Cape Town. The booking process was quiet seamless and we were provided with a 7-seater vehicle which comfortably accommodated us and our luggage. We were given room to adjust some of the stops on the itinerary during the booking process. Our guide for the day was Oswald (who also volunteered to be photographer at some of the stops and we had an incredible tour. He was kind enough to pick us up at a time later than scheduled and still managed to cover the itinerary for the day.
