This tour was incredible!! Candy and Mabee made this amazing! The amount of history and cultural knowledge shared during the all day tour was fascinating and I fell in love with the Western Cape area and can’t wait to return!

Great sights while driving and while at the park. Loved seeing the penguins.. It was exceptionally windy, so it is best to check the weather forecast the day before.

We visited the points of interest as described in the itinerary whcih provided a good overview of Cape Town.

Booking the tour from the UK was really straight forward and we were kept updated with all times and pick up arrangements. On the day our tour guide Candice and driver Maybee arrived promptly for our 7:30am pickup. The tour of the Cape Town peninsula was amazing and bought to life through the in-depth knowledge of Candice. Mother Nature meant we did not catch all the view at the beginning but luckily the dense fog and mist lifted quickly so not to spoil the rest of the tour. A special well done to Candice for her knowledge and patience with the group and Maybee for trying to teach us a song in his mother tongue! If you’re short of time but want to fit as much sightseeing in, this one ticks the box. Thank you for a lovely day!

From start to finish, we had a blast with our guide Rodney! He was so funny and friendly, offering insight into facts about Cape Town and South Africa, all the while safely transporting us around. He was also great at taking shots of us at viewpoints throughout the day and very informative of how long we’d stay for and where to meet up at each location. It’s a full on day but worth it, with no stress or worries :)

The hike up to the lighthouse was a treat to stretch our legs after sitting in the van for hours. We missed the penguin colony at Boulder beach because the tide was too high when we arrived. In retrospect, we should have hired a private driver for the day instead of waiting for tardy people then we can go where we want and arrive at Boulder Beach at low tide.

This was a fabulous all day tour with my family and friends. Candace was our guide and Mabee was our driver. They were both very sweet. From start to finish, Candace provided detailed information about the history of SA. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. They went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs. I highly recommend this tour and Candace and Mabee.

Today we did the toue with Candy and Mabee and it was great! We stopped at the most beautiful and interesting places and told us a lot about everything. They were very friendly and helpful and me and the group had a really great day! I would recommend them to everyone who want to see and know more about cape town and surroundings!

The views, the stops and the history behind it all was incredible. Thanks to our amazing host for the day Kelvin he knew anything and everything about Cape Town. He also helped us to see the baboons, penguins, ostriches and everything else. He went above and beyond and the whole trip was perfect.

Candy and Mabee were fantastic. My first time ever doing a scheduled tour like this and I wasn’t expecting much actually. But it was lots of fun, they created great vibes, Candy gave lots of interesting info and we saw a great deal through the day; it was efficient but never stressful. Highlights were the cape of good hope hike and the penguin colony but it was all great. Perfect way to see the Cape in a day.

The day started off with a very friendly welcome from Candice, our guide, and Mabee our driver at our hotel in the city. After collecting the rest of our group we were driven to Bo Kaap to view this special section of the city with their brightly painted houses. Candice's explanation of the historical significance of the reason they are painted in bright colours was very informative as was her her ongoing explanations of the things we saw for the remainder of the day. She had a very entertaining way of imparting her vast knowledge and we soon melded as a group, which made the tour even more special. Our itinerary included an Ostrich farm, Penguin sanctuary, an optional seal cruise which didn't see any seals but were entertained by a pod of dolphins, multiple stops for spectacular scenery photo opportunities, and of course the reason we were there, to visit where the Indian and Atlantic Ocean currents meet. After a very windy 45 minute climb from the car park at the bottom to the meeting point at the car park at the top, we enjoyed a relaxing lunch in the restaurant where we got to know our fellow travellers further over good food and drink. The highlight of the trip for me was the Penguin Sanctuary where hundreds of African Penguins swam and waddled their way into my heart. Mabee sang us a song on the way back to Cape Town in his native language and it was beautiful to listen to, and when we tried to imitate the words he was trying to teach us, we all failed dismally. I apologise that I can't remember the actual name of his language but as Candice quipped "Good luck" at the beginning of our 'lesson', I don't feel so bad, as it is the most difficult to learn in South Africa. This was a fantastic day, made more special by our amazing guide Candice and wonderful driver Mabee. To them it seemed more than just a job.

Genuinely an amazing day! I've done quite a few of these sorts of "day trip Viator tours" around the world, and this was one of my favorites. Candice and Mabee were really so knowledgeable and such a joy. Oftentimes with these sort of tours it feels like you're just being shuttled around from place to place without any context, but not here. Candice felt incredibly knowledgeable as a tour guide and had interesting information for us for the entirety of the time we spent in the vehicle. I thought the penguins would be my favorite part, but it was actually the hike at Cape Point! Not to be missed, just stunning views. Loved it!!

Rodney was the perfect guide he was upbeat, friendly and very informative He made the day perfect for both of us. We are visiting from the UK and it was our first day in Cape Town. He even directed us to a restaurant we wanted to try in the evening! Truly exceptional

We had a brilliant trip led by Candice and Mabee. Both were very knowledgeable about the local towns, history and wildlife! Our highlight would be the Cape of Goodhope but the whole day was great from start to finish! We would highly recommend booking a trip with them.

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Cape Town! Candice and Mabii were amazing guides! They were super friendly, knowledgable, flexible enough to accommodate our special requests, answered all of our questions, offered to be our photographers for the day and even taught us some words in Afrikaans and isiXhosa! We truly had a blast and saw a tremendous amount of attractions in one day: Cape of Good Hope, the penguins at Boulders Beach, the seal colony at Hout Bay, Chapman's Peak drive and even stopped at an Ostrich Farm. Our day tour of Cape Town with the incredible duo of guide Candice and driver Marbee was nothing short of amazing. Despite the early morning fog, which eventually cleared to reveal a stunning day, we were able to experience so much thanks to their expertise and enthusiasm. From encountering seals to getting a picture with an ostrich, every moment was filled with excitement and wonder. One highlight was encountering a shunned baboon, kicked out from his group to live a solo life, a unique and unforgettable experience. The tour also provided opportunities to see antelope and the adorable penguins of Boulder Bay, which served as a perfect wind-down to the end of the day. Candice and Marbee ensured that every moment was enjoyable, informative, and memorable. For those with limited time who want to experience all the big highlights of the area, this tour is an absolute must.
