What a nice guided walk. Lots about Panjim's history and the special background to this area! Live music in the park and a tasty snack inbetween. Great! I loved with how much passion our guide Mugdha told us all the stories of this area in a clear English, which we could understand very well. Looking forward to other experiences with Makeithappen. Wow! I highly recommend the Camal Heritage Walk! I loved how there’s so much to know about the culture, the trees, the heritage buildings & every road that we crossed! P.S. there was also lovely musical performance in the beautiful and serene Campal gardens which was the highlight of the walk for me!!!

Again Pawan was my guide! It was a great walk in goa. The musical moment was surprising and fun, it really enhances the visit. Pawan, who is from Goa, really knows the city and we feel that he is passionate about the human exchange that involves such a visit.

The tour was informative and gave us insights of various revolutionary personalities of Goa, including the first Chief Minister of Goa. The story of Jack de Sequeira was captivating. The music bit added a great touch to the experience as well.

I learnt a lot of wonderful history, legend and life of a hood where I had wandered around as a child in the 70s. I had marvelled at the imposing houses and magnificent trees, so happy to know their stories. Our guide was a historian and storyteller and kept us engaged. The musical performance was special and a welcome surprise. Thanks so much for doing this for Goa.

I've always admired this area Campal and always wanted to walk down the streets to know it's history and art. The guide was very precise with her knowledge ,the history , and also cheerfully walked us around this beau Campal area.

The Campal Heritage Walk by Make It Happen is an insightful experience. Our storyteller Amreen was knowledgeable.

Amreen from make it happen is steeped in Goa’s rich heritage and tapestry. The formal historic accounts uniquely and elegantly complemented by oral history and stories - many from Saligao in which she is the expert. We learned so much about the rise of the great city of Panjim and its planning taken from the blueprint of Lisboa. The beautiful houses, the sanitation, the traditions of the nobles and the era of Dom Manuel de Portugal e Castro. It’s a beautifully narrated journey into the past.,,, don’t miss it!

Our guide , Amreen managed to delicately weave Goa’s rich history into exciting stories as she took us through the streets of Campal , that was lined with beautiful architecture .

It was a wholesome experience with a balanced mix of different elements - history, folklore, architecture, music, myths, food and drink. Interesting facts and trivia made it both fun and contextual.

I loved the history around the campal heritage homes told by our make it happen walk curator Amreen.it was quite an intriguing experience.She took us through a time travelled experience through her stories.

The choice of location for the walk is one that is pertinent to Goan History and why the Capital of Goa is what it is today. Often overlooked only as a pretty part of the most beautiful capital city in India, Campal is worth the time taken through this walk. The research and content shared as well as the access to heritage homes and traditions of the people of Campal is possibly what would make me recommend this walk to anyone wanting to know more about the locale. My favourite was the visit to the Doctors Chapel and FLGomes Garden Or the Campal Garden.
